Gemütliches Haus

Listing was as described. Very basic which is all we needed for a short weekend. Veronica was thankful for suggestions for future improvements and her communication through out was very prompt. Location to Raymond James was great and would rent again when we go to another game if available.

The house was clean. The communications with the owner were smoothe and timely. Location is outstanding. We walked to Raymond James for the game. It's 1.24mi to the corner of the stadium and we were back in the house will before traffic would have allowed us to exit the parking lots. There is a large park a block over and a quad-baseball complex that's home to the West Tampa Little League. Their senior team was the first FL little league team to win a world series. Impressive. We watched part of a game while walking out dogs and it was enjoyable seeing the kids learning sports discipline and teamwork. The fenced in yard was perfect for our small dogs. There were plenty of dishes and towels, which were better than some Hilton properties at which I've stayed. I wish I could book there for other games but it's booked out for many months. We hope to be back in 2026

Sad to say this was an awful experience as we never got to stay there because we never received any access information. I gave the owner a benefit of a doubt and waited until the check-in time before calling Vrbo directly; big mistake as they could not contact owner either. I got a refund but had to scramble to find a hotel room close to the event we were in town to attend. DO NOT trust this listing!

Good location but requires care

I was In Tampa for a convention. The first thing I noticed when driving up to the rental was that the grass was not cut and there were a stack of branches in the front yard. I am not going to bad moth this property but I will offer some advice. The property would be great with some landscaping updates/upgrades. Invest in a good pest control company. Towels need to be bleached. Please do away with the memory foam mattress. The positive as stated earlier, the location is fantastic plenty of room for a few guests. Plenty of parking space for a few vehicles. My business partner and I were rarely at the property for extended periods so it served its purpose to be able to get a shower and rest.

Great deal, not great communication

The place was clean and well priced for the area. Some frustration with not receiving responses from owner prior to arrival. We arrived an hour after the time and still did not have the information to get in. We called and they did answer and give us the code. They were responsive during our stay just not before.

Worse experience ever

The management company canceled our reservation the morning of while driving to property, after numerous phone calls on the drive to property the management company sent me a message stating that she resolved the issue and sent me check in information. After checking in she contacted me again and demanded me to zelle her money to a different name a phone number or she will call the police and lock us out of the house and hold all of our possessions. The next morning at 730 am a handy man knocked on the door and demanded money. The management company got on the phone and then caled the police on us. The police arrived and told them that they are in the wrong and to leave us alone. The whole weekend was consumed with harassment from management company on a reservation that was paid for 9 months earlier. It clearly apears to be a common practice with

Spacious- house does need some work- but very pleasant.

Overall I had a great stay. The house was clean and spacious for my group. Great parking and good location to Raymond James Stadium. The price was great. There are some room for improvements in the house. The 2nd bathroom door does not latch/lock, the floor mainly in the living room does need to be replaced, and small things like the soap dispensers, towels bars, etc. would fall off if used or had fallen off before we got there. Also the backyard fence is falling down looked like some pretty strong winds or a car had caused it. I also was not given the code to get into the house until I called upon arrival making the check in a bit stressful worried that I would drive all that way and not get the code; however, they always answered the phone! Basics were covered, one towel for each person, an air fryer, oven, fridge, microwave, etc. I apricate that they do not require a laundry list of things to do at check out. Nothing super fancy, but a good option for its intended purpose/location.

Not what pictures describe.

This place was not even close to what the pictures described. It was dirty, no washcloths to wash our faces, no hand towels either, washer and dryer were in a beat up garage filled with filthy clothing, sheets and towels so you couldn’t even use them. The yard was disgusting, broken down fencing all along the back. We saw cockroaches running through the house when lights would go on, just so dirty and filthy. And the neighborhood was very sketchy, car alarms went off throughout the night. One roll of toilet paper for two bathrooms, and not a lot of kitchenware to choose from. I think most of the reviews were made up. I definitely won’t be staying again or recommend this place.

Pre-Cruise Stay

The house was adorable and very clean on the inside. Unfortunately, the yard and outdoor space really needs some TLC as it makes it look like the home is not properly cared for. We had a little trouble figuring out how to get in as the lock box for the key was not hanging on the doorknob and there was a key pad on the door. Someone did answer a text and help us figure it out pretty quickly. There are not alot of kitchen amenities and no regular sized coffee pot or Keurig available. Also, the mattresses are memory foam, so if you don't like memory foam, you may want to reconsider. All in all we needed a safe, clean space for 2 couples to stay near the port for one night and that's what we got. I would recommend for that purpose.

Overall for a one night stay, this rental was adequate for 2 couples. To bump the rating, it would of been nice to have coffee grounds provided for at least one pot. The bedrooms are very dim, so small side table lamps would be helpful.

Adequate but missing amenities

Property was adequate. A few things I missed were hot pads, dish towels, wash clothes and bedside lamps. Also would have been nice to have coffee provided. The neighborhood was very well lit. Would have been nice to be able to turn off the back porch light.
