Perfekte Lage am Berg und tolle Aussicht von Ihrem Wohnzimmerfenster.

Unsere neu renovierte Wohnung liegt direkt an der Piste im 1. Stock, mit einem großen Kingsize-Bett im Hauptschlafzimmer. Einfacher Zugang zu den Pisten (und unserem privaten Parkplatz). Es ist ein kurzer Spaziergang zum Village zum Essen / Einkaufen das ganze Jahr über. Starbucks ist nur wenige Schritte von der Lodge entfernt. Mit kostenlosem WLAN im Zimmer haben Sie den morgendlichen Skibericht immer zur Hand.

Der Aufenthalt in der Mountain Lodge ist die bequemste Lage am Berg. Vor-Ort-Check-in und keine Probleme bekommen die Schlüssel zu Ihrer Wohnung. Fahren Sie zu unserem Eingangstor, geben Sie unserem Mitarbeiter Ihren Namen und holen Sie Ihre Schlüssel an unserer 24-Stunden-Rezeption ab.

Diese 2 BR / 2 Bath Wohnung # 170 in Snowshoe Mountain Lodge mit Blick auf Shavers Lake und das Skibecken. Die Aussicht ist so schön, dass einige Paare ihre Hochzeit auf der Wiese direkt unter unserem Balkon feiern. Vollständig möbliert und kürzlich renoviert, gibt es ein KING-BETT in der großen Master-Suite, ein Queensize-Bett im zweiten Schlafzimmer und ein neues Queensize-Schlafsofa für Ihre Familie. In der voll ausgestatteten Küche finden Sie alle Utensilien, und unser hausinternes Reinigungs- und Wartungspersonal kann alle Ihre Bedürfnisse erfüllen. Im Wohnbereich befindet sich ein 42-Zoll-Breitbildfernseher mit DVD-Player, und beide Schlafzimmer verfügen auch über Flachbildfernseher. Handtücher und Bettwäsche werden zu Beginn Ihres Aufenthalts zur Verfügung gestellt. Wir bieten keinen täglichen Handtuch- / Wäschewechsel an.

Die Einheit ist SKI IN / SKI OUT (oder BIKE IN / OUT), mit Schließfächern für Fahrräder oder Ski / Snowboard, die am Eingang der Lodge, nur wenige Meter vom Ballhooter-Lift entfernt, gemietet werden können.

Wir bieten einen wohnlichen Raum. Das Rauchverbot bietet unseren Gästen jedes Mal ein neues Zimmer. Im Sommer sind Fahrräder in der Lodge nicht gestattet, um die Sauberkeit zu gewährleisten.

Die große offene Lobby mit dem riesigen Kamin ist ein großartiger Treffpunkt. Ein Spielzimmer, ein kleiner Kinderspielbereich und Fitnessgeräte (beide nur wenige Schritte von unserer Wohnungstür entfernt) bieten Familien in der Mountain Lodge eine große Auswahl. Ruhige Stunden nach 22 Uhr ermöglichen es unseren Gästen, sich entspannt auf die Aktivitäten des nächsten Tages vorzubereiten.

Eintägige Aufenthalte sind an Wochentagen gestattet. Wenn die Bedingungen für eine kurze Reise in der Wochenmitte günstig sind, möchten wir Ihnen die Möglichkeit geben, die Pisten nach Ihrem Zeitplan zu erreichen. Wochenendaufenthalte mit einer Nacht sind nur kurzfristig verfügbar.

Wir sind nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von den Split Rock Pools entfernt. Für die Nutzung wird jedoch eine tägliche Gebühr von 20 USD erhoben.

very nice. Our only complaint is that the temperature control in the condo did not seem to work. Even when we turned the heat off, it stayed around 80 degrees. this was not terrible except when sleeping which was pretty uncomfortable.

The condo itself if very dated, somewhat dirty (ceilings, found dirty underwear in the primary bath) and uncomfortable. The beds were not great, the pillows were terrible and the bedrooms were very warm even after we adjusted the heat. Overall, it was a cheap, quick trip and other than sleeping and a shower we did not spend much time there, but none of the 3 of us slept well - uncomfortable beds/pillows and so hot.

Thank you for your comments. If I found underwear in the unit, I’d drop the rating also. Although this is not the normal good housekeeping we expect. I’ve talked to them and they have apologized, which I am passing on to you. The other issues mentioned seemed to be a carryover, since other reviews mentioned our comfortable beds, etc. Otherwise, our unit has new carpet and appliances for our guests’ comfort.

When we arrived to the condo, the employees informed us the reservation was in an another name, and they could not help us. The owner (Kent) didn’t not answer phone calls, texts or VRBO messaging because he was out of the country on vacation. My family drove 4 hours, arriving in the evening only to scramble to find another place to stay that evening. I understand that mistakes are made, but for me and my family, this was a huge mistake that ended up costing us valuable time and terrible inconvenience. After two hours of trying to get a hold of the host, We ended up finding a place to stay that first night, but nothing by was available for all three nights of our planned trip. We paid out of pocket for another room that night. We then had to wake up early, check out at 8am. We ended up paying out of pocket for a second room for the last two night, but had to wait until 4pm to check in. So we were without room for 8 hours in the middle of our trip. It was a nightmare. So I cannot rate the room, although the lobby of this place was OK. I can unfortunately say the host screwed me and my family out of a good chuck of our vacation and our serenity. The host did message me the next day and apologize. Saying he thought he had all the reservations handled before he went on his international trip!

David had a right to be upset. I rarely make the mistake of not putting a reservation in the system, and I normally can respond and fix the issue quickly. However, as noted at the end of his review, I was without access to WiFi and cellular when the problem occurred and therefore could not respond to fix the issue. A lousy way to learn a tough lesson on my part, and I have apologized for my mistake.

Great location. The place is great for kids and families. Lots to do. Host was great and communicated well. The amenities are a bit low end and you don’t have access to a pool at the condo. Have to pay for the pool across the street. But we loved the place and would stay there again for sure.

Great location for kids

Obviously, the lodge is in a great location right on the slopes. However, this unit has an indoor playground and arcade right outside your door as well. In between activities it was really easy to let the kids go play in the building and be social with the other parents.

Great location

My daughter asked me to take her skiing for her spring break. I haven't been to Snowshoe in over 30 years. A lot has changed! The condo was great. Clean and close to the Ballhooter lift and village. As an FYI for others, there are no extras, like salt and pepper, saran wrap, baggies etc... not a problem, just know that you will need to bring it all. There was a roll of paper towels and dishwashing liquid. I would definitely stay here again.

Short walk to the slopes and village

Short walk to outside door that is right at the slopes!! We were right at the village with great shops and restaurants. We decided to rent a locker which was 15 a day just for convenience so we didn’t have to carry skis inside. The locker was right at the door leading to the slopes. The condo was clean and cute. Had a nice size master with full bath, another bedroom with a queen. There was a separate full bath and a nice sleeper sofa my 19 year old slept on peacefully!! The kitchen had everything you needed to cook Altho we did not use except for microwave. It also has a dishwasher. It was a nice place with ample room for the two adults and two teenagers! TVs in both rooms. I would definitely recommend and I would definitely stay there again!

Slopeside 2-BR condo at Mountain Lodge Snowshoe

First the really good: the location. Literally steps away from the top of a centrally-located slope, and the lift puts you off just a very short walk to the door to the building. the unit has a balcony that looks out on the slopes. All the ski places I've stayed where you have to schlepp over hill and dale carrying all that stuff, or wait for a shuttle to get to the slopes or back home: none of that here. The location was so good that other insufficiencies fade into the background.The not-so-good: the facility is old and a bit tired and drab; it could certainly use a face-lift. Carpets old, appliances old. The living area in the unit is quite cramped, although the bedrooms are nice-sized. We were only two people: four people would have been bumping into each other. Kitchen area is tiny and kitchen itself far from modern. No counter space. I love to cook, but it's not the right kitchen for that. If you are looking for higher-end accommodations, these aren't those. But the bed was comfy and everything worked okay, and again, we decided location trumped a fancy interior.

Thanks for the 5-star review, and for the not-so-good points you mentioned. The Interior of the entire lodge will be updated this summer…new carpets, lIghting, paint, along wIth other redecorating to make our lodge an inviting place. And inside our unit, we will also be replacing carpet and appliances this summer. Space is at a premium at almost all facilities at Snowshoe, so we try to keep the kitchen functional but compact,, to provide as much living space as possible.

Good value for a basic condo in a great location

The condo complex is in a great location, the slopes are right outside, and it's close to everything in the village, and has adjacent parking (not the case at all condos in Snowshoe). The view is nice of the mountains in the distance and the little kids ski school below (no slopes view). The condo and the overall building are dated and could use a remodel, but everything was in decent condition. Both beds and the sofa bed were in good condition. The condo was quiet other than occasional people walking down the noisy halls during the day. Since it's not directly facing the slopes you don't hear the groomers in the early morning hours. The owner provided clear check-in instructions and was quick to respond to questions/concerns. The local staff, including the condo general manager, could use some customer service training. The heat setting had no impact on the temperature of the room as we had it set to 55 and it never got below 69. We couldn't open the windows to cool things down, but they may have been frozen as it was extremely cold outside. Overall, I would rent from this owner again. We've stayed at Mountain Lodge several times to ski and it is the best value for location and the size of the units.

The views from the living room are fabulous. Very unusual to get this in a value-priced condo. Ditto with convenience to the slopes. A short walk inside the hallways of the building and then you are outside and just a few steps from skiing. Also most unusual at this price point. This is a great unit for a family (or two couples) on a budget. The unit was clean and adequately equipped. Communication with the owner was outstanding. It is an older building so if you are looking for a luxury fully updated condo (and willing to pay the price) there are others at Snowshoe. But for a family (or two couples) who wants a warm, clean and convenient place to stay, this is hard to beat. If you plan on cooking in your condo, bring food with you. The mountain top market is very limited in selection and very highly priced. But there are plenty of casual restaurants at the resort. Keep in mind this an "upside-down" resort. The condos and ski village are at the top; not the bottom. The check-in process is simple. The front desk is open and gives you a code to the electronic lock. But, be patient. Cleaning is done by the building and check-in is not assured until 5pm. We encountered two check-in people; one younger woman and one older. The older one appeared in charge. The younger woman was as nice as she could be, did her best, and we tried to only talk with her. The older person was frequently butting-in and frankly was not a nice person. This is by no means the owner's fault. They can't control that, but perhaps they can report it. If you do wind-up with such a person, just smile and be patient and remember that you have a pleasant condo you'll be in shortly, and then you don't have to deal with her anymore. I do recommend this unit and its owners for future stays for the family or couples on a budget who want nice views and convenient access to the slopes.

Great experience!

This rental was just right for us. The king size bed, the close proximity to the village, and the price made it a great deal. Mountain Lodge could surely use an update, but the positives outweigh the uniform oldness of the building. Everything worked well, and the communication from the owner was very good.

Great room with beautiful view

The room was very nice, bedrooms were spacious and clean with nice beds and furniture. The living room and kitchen table areas featured a beautiful view of the mountains! We had to wait about an hour after check-in for the room to be ready, they had some people call in sick that day, but the staff saw us waiting and actually moved our room in front of some others so they really did everything they could, which we appreciated greatly. Only issues within the room itself we ran into were that the coffee pot did not work correctly and that the kitchen island was on last legs so the silverware drawer kind of fell apart and we had to leave it off to the side on a table. Neither were big problems though and the front desk was very helpful with them. All in all, I would definitely stay again - thank you for a great week!

Perfect for quick ski trip

My husband and a couple of his friends decided to take a quick ski trip to Snowshoe and picked this property/location as it was available and was centrally located. The property owner was great with communicating and the property was as advertised. They had no issues abs would recommend for future visits.
