The home is comfortable and fun for all in a serene setting yet extremely close to many hikes and the Appalachian Trail as well as skiing/tubing at Wintergreen, multiple wineries, breweries, and cideries. Plan your spring, summer, or fall getaway now! Dogs welcome, no cats please due to allergies.
The space
As you walk into the home you are welcomed into a modern, well-appointed kitchen. The kitchen opens into a family room with a tv, woodstove, comfortable seating and unbelievable mountain views. There is a round dining table with seating for 6-8 and bar seating in the kitchen for 2. There is also a desk area between the kitchen and dining table. On the main level is also a half bath, laundry area for your use, and a queen bedroom with balcony and attached full bathroom with a tub and separate shower. Downstairs is a queen bedroom connected to a tv room but separated by a screen. The tv room has a sofa that pulls out to sleep 2. The tv room also has a balcony overlooking the back property and mountain views. There is another room downstairs with a queen bed, futon, and a top bunk bed. The basement area has a full bath with a tub/shower combo. The garage has an air hockey table and arcade basketball for hours of entertainment. The home sits on 20 explorable acres (not cleared) but adds to the adventure, peace, and serenity. There is even a hot tub at this home for you to relax after a day of skiing/tubing, hiking, or just out enjoying all that Nelson County has to offer. An upper back deck off of the family room boasts a dining table and solo stove fire pit. You will also have access to a grill and grill tools at the home. The driveway is steep and partly gravel just so you are prepared before arrival.
