Freier Blick auf die geschützte Vogelmündung. Eineinhalb Blocks von einem ruhigen und einem öffentlichen Strand entfernt. Sackgasse, ruhige Straße. Weber Gasgrill mit Raucher und Rotissere, Feuerstelle und Holz- / Pelletofen.

Das Haus ist mit allen Ihren Bedürfnissen ausgestattet, darunter eine voll ausgestattete Küche, Secure-Internet und Apple TV. Große Außenterrasse, Vogelbad sowie ein schöner Garten.

BMW Jacuzzi 2 Schlafzimmer, Master verfügt über ein Kingsize-Bett, ein Schlittenbett und 2 BR verfügt über ein brandneues Schlafsofa (in voller Größe mit temperedic-Matratze) und ein klappbares Kinderbett. Das Badezimmer hat eine Dusche und eine Badewanne.

Kindersand- und Wasserspielplätze. Beachvolleyball und alle Wassersportarten. Cosey Beach ist ein bezauberndes nautisches Dorf aus den 1920er Jahren, das an einem der preisgekrönten Strände von East Haven liegt. Es ist ein Strandabschnitt, der zwischen zwei Gezeitenlöchern entlang des Long Island Sound in East Haven liegt. Dieser Strand wurde vom National Resources Defence Council (Nationaler Ressourcenverteidigungsrat) mit einem nationalen Preis ausgezeichnet, hauptsächlich aufgrund seines Überwachungssystems und der Auswirkungen des Umweltschutzes auf den Strand. Das NRDC nannte es "A Beach Buddy" und wählte es als eine der fünf besten Adressen für saubere Sommerorte an der Ostküste. Ein weiterer Grund für das sauberere Wasser sind die beiden Gezeiteneinlässe an jeder Seite des Strandes und die natürliche Reinigung, die durch diese Gezeiteneinlässe erfolgt, die das Wasser ein- und ausleiten. Host was wonderful and easily reachable. Linda guided us in to the home, unlocked door and had it heated. Accommodations are very nice with thoughtfully appointed kitchen and bathroom. The location is great with one block walk to Lobster Shack and Beach. Will stay again. Great value.

Beautifully Manicured Beach House and Gardens

Lovely little property. Ideally set up for a small family with a young child. Our son slept in his own little room and we had a very comfy king size bed. The kitchen had everything we needed and we particularly liked the grill. Super close to the beach, groceries, and some nice restaurants.

Great time at the cottage

We really enjoyed our stay at this special cottage. Set on a dead end street with views of the bird sanctuary and the most peaceful wind chime made our time here very relaxing. The cottage is very well kept and had all the comforts of home. We enjoyed hiking with the dogs in brandford and great dinners in new haven both within 15 minutes. Super friendly beach town. The owner was very responsive and very accommodating.

Great house near the sound and moments from Yale!

This house is small (1000 sq ft) but mighty. It is flush with amenities such granite counter tops, Keurig, French door refrigerator with bottom freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer, and even a leather sofa with electric footrests. Lots of storage in chests of drawers and closets. The first bedroom boasts a king-sized bed, while the second bedroom is small wide enough for a pull-out sofa. The bathroom is across the living from the bedrooms, so knowing our housemates and your own modesty comforts is helpful.

This was my first VRBO stay and I don’t know how another stay could top this one. Our family had the most incredible time at Linda's Vrbo rental in East Haven. From the moment we arrived, we felt relaxed and comfortable. My son and daughter quickly figured out the smart TV and my husband and I walked around outside, in awe of how gorgeous the property is. The flowers brought birds, butterflies and hummingbirds to the yard. Linda's clear instructions and thoughtful local recommendations were very helpful. Another highlight was the private beach, just over a block's walk away. It wasn’t busy and I loved looking for sea glass and shells while the kids swam. After beach days, we loved unwinding in the sparkling clean hot tub, admiring sunsets and stars (the sky was so clear we saw a shooting star!) The location itself is fantastic and quiet. Linda herself is such a sweet woman, checking in with us a few times. My son enthusiastically declared "one million 5 stars!" I would rate the same, as would my husband and daughter. We've already told family and friends what an amazing time we had, and we will absolutely rent this home again. We can't wait to go back!

Love the outdoors

My favorite experience was sitting under the gazebo, drinking a cup of tea, listening to the birds and watching wildlife. Beautiful flowers in the garden. It's a very easy walk to beach and Sandpiper restaurant. Check out the Shore Line Trolley Museum in East Haven. You pass by it on the way to the house. Yale is close by, the Peabody Museum was cool to see. Cute town, and great location.

beautiful house, wonderful weekend

It was a weekend at the beach in the winter. There was a lot of snow on the ground but the walk and the driveway were clear. The house was warm when I went in and it stayed cozy. There is a wonderful restaurant "The Sandpiper" down by the beach, about 2 blocks away. The owner was very attentive and made sure I had everything I needed.

A Relaxing Beach Getaway!

I cannot say enough about what a wonderful and relaxing time we had at this lovely beach cottage. The home is very clean, with plenty of comfortable seating and very comfortable beds. You are also supplied with nice bedding and towels, and appliances like a dishwasher and clothes washer and dryer to meet all your needs. The gardens are truly breathtaking and make this cottage magical! We spent a lot of time just relaxing outside enjoying the gardens and amazing bird estuary. My family also greatly enjoyed the beach that is just a short walk away. Not only is this cottage a wonderful and relaxing treat the owner is absolutely Amazing to deal with! Honestly, she could not have been more accommodating and kind to our family and I truly cannot thank her enough for her kindness and hospitality. This cottage is truly about relaxing and enjoying the beach life!

Meticulously cared for beach home.

What you see if what you get--a lovely cottage retreat just a few blocks from the beach. Linda provides all you need and then some. She answered all our questions promptly, checked in with us during our stay, and had amazing support staff available to help out with anything we needed. The air conditioning and fans kept the house a very comfortable temperature. The water pressure was good and all the appliances were in good working order. The cost was higher than we are accustomed to, but certainly in keeping with the other rental properties in that area for that time of the year. My husband and I and our two girls loved our stay at this clean, beautifully furnished home. Families with very active kids may want to know that there is a gorgeous glass curio cabinet in the living room. We had bought the extra insurance offered through Home Away from Home and thankfully didn't need it, but we definitely kept a careful eye on our busy 7-year old while she was in the house. We were a little stressed out on the few stormy days making sure the kids wouldn't knock over anything precious, and we stayed outside most of the time. If you are a garden enthusiast, you'll love what she has planted. We even saw swallow-tail caterpillars on the fennel plants! If you are a garden appreciator, you'll love being on the hammock or in the screened porch, watching the osprey nests across the street. We picked up groceries at a local supermarket for picnics, breakfasts, and dinners. There are two restaurants within walking distance and plenty that deliver if you don't want to cook. There is also a pellet stove for chillier evenings as the months progress.

Beautifully decorated and kept cottage home.

Lovely home with comfortable feel. We sat outside in the morning with coffee looking at the beautifully maintained garden and enjoyed the evenings in the screened enclosure. The beach is a three minute walk which we often did several times a day. We also sat on the beach at night looking at the moon. The local restaurants were terrific. We also had lunch at 2 local marinas. We could not believe we were only an hour and 15 minutes from home. It felt as if we were far away at the beach! We would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a relaxing week away in a great surrounding.

Perfect for entertaining

My girlfriends and I rented this house for a small gathering for a colleague and it was everything we needed. Not to big and not too small. I wish we had more time to really take in the surroundings and the beautiful garden. The driveway was big enough to provide parking for our guests, the rooms were cozy and comfortable, and the living room space was perfect for our gathering. The owner Linda was very nice and personable and was available to answer any questions. We rent homes at least 2 times a year so I am confident that we will add this location to our favorites list!

Cute Cottage with Lovely Yard

Clean and tidy little house with cute touches, like a pellet wood stove, stone tile backsplash in the bath, and arched windows. The yard, though, is what's special! Overlooking a marshland, close to the beach, a white picket fence surrounds a well planted lawn furnished with fire pit, grill, 2 picnic table areas and a hammock. Great place to stay for Yale events - 15 minutes to Old Campus with a route that is convenient to good grocery stores and nice neighborhoods.

I'm a psychotherapist and have used this home for many years. I bought it and designed the space to be a refuge and place of tranquility.

The property is available for a couple of full weeks during the summer. Including the Yale week. All holiday week-ends are rented only by the week.

The property is available for long team rental. From Sept/Oct thru June 1.

Hottub. The property is fully planted and blooms six months out of the year. For any property and specifically a Beachhouse it has completely open space with no other homes on top of you. Dead-end, quiet street.

Home is sophisticated and comfortable with gourmet kitchen and BBQ space.
