Everything you need for your stay. If don't want to do the restaurant thing every day there is a gas grill to cook out. All the pots and pans you could need in the kitchen. Close proximity to everything. Recommend Thimble Island tour and dinner at the Dockside restaurant.

We didn’t realize how steep the stairs to the only bedroom on second floor. We are pretty healthy seniors but it was scary. The listing should have been more clear. Also, not really as close to water as listing suggested. It was clean and a complimentary bottle of wine was nice surprise.

Property was clean with some nice cozy touches. Wine on the table, fruit in the frig, chocolate for comfort, coffee for wakeup. Host was very pleasant and accommodating. Will definitely stay there again.

Nice place for a couple days to take a break from the city. The bottle of wine with plenty of chocolate treats were a pleasant welcoming gift. The queen size bed was comfortable, and the AC kept the place nice and cool. The winding staircase leading to the bedroom though was a bit of a challenging surprise--especially if you needed to visit the bathroom on the ground floor during the night. It was also very pleasant to have morning breakfast on the porch. The only downsize to that was the traffic whooshing past on the double, yellow-lined road that bordered the house. Otherwise, it was a very pleasant stay.

House was cozy and warm during a cold winter storm. With 27” of snow, the owner’s were busy shoveling and plowing out the cottage. We loved the location, a short walk from a beach with views and a nice neighborhood.

I Survived. Someone needs to tell people how ran down this place is. It is not intended for elderly people nor disabled. That is not us, just letting you know. There is a staircase to the the bedroom that has you dragging your suitcase up it because it is so narrow. Once you take 4 steps up it turns 90 degrees and does not have a railing. There is no light switch in the bedroom and the only closet is unusable because the roll out cot for the upstairs TV room is taking it up. The TV slash 2nd bedroom s closet isn't usable because it is full of blankets and pillows. There is not a TV in the main bedroom. The house is poorly insulated, you can see gaps everywhere. The bathroom is a step down from the kitchen. The bathtub is about to rot through the floor. You can feel it sponge when you stand by the drain. It is dark and they put a 2nd portable light in the shower, but it went out the 2nd day. The water from the faucets taste nasty and all the pans had Teflon scratches and peeling. We had to clean the Keurig because it was nasty. You have to move the microwave to plug it in because this place has very few outlets. The outside handrails had overgrowth around them and made it difficult to use.Again we Survived and we were glad to leave and I almost forgot the candy they they left was old and the cream left for us was a previously open container that had maybe 3 tablespoons left in it. We didn't use the stove because of the peeling teflon and good news, we only saw 1 roach.

Perfect place for a stay

My wife and I stayed here for a week with our dog while we were having our floors done at home. This was the perfect place for us. It was clean, inviting and it was close to everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again.

The hosts were great - very responsive. Location was convenient. The cottage is a little quirky in its layout, but we enjoyed our stay.

The stay was very nice, nice and cozy, but we didn’t know the owners lived on the property too, but it was cool I need better roll out beds due to you feel the spring thicker mattress It was a cool nice stay and they need a new pot sets for Family that want to cook.

Pamala and her family were pleasant guests, however as stated in our listing we do not allow smoking (of any kind) on the premises, we did have to confront them during their stay. My wife and I live next door separated like other homes on the street, it's an added benefit should our guests need any additional help during their stay. The house has three roll away beds if there is ever a problem with a weekender bed it can be switched to resolve any comfortability issue to ensure the guests goodnights rest. I will however look into getting a new cooking set, Thank you for your feedback

Great place to stay, it was perfect for 2! And The host went over and beyond.. went out and bought a blender once we were there, since I needed one and let us use his grill when we had a lot to cook at once for my sons friends!

Pleasant short stay

We only stayed a couple of days but the place was ideal point from which to explore the Branford area. Owners are God’s, helpful people. Nice beach maybe 4/5 minutes away.
