Great beach condo

Condo was clean. Great location! Perfect for 2 adults and 4 kids. Walk to beach was the shortest we’ve ever had. Beaches were beautiful and free condo chairs were a plus! Our girls also enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking—rentals were right in front of condo!

Our family of 6 enjoyed the stay. Good view of the gulf from the balcony. Watched a bunch of dolphins one of the mornings. The pool is right over the balcony so it’s easy to keep an eye on the kids if needed. The condo was actually ready 2-3 hours early. We weren’t in town yet but it was still a nice gesture. Overall it was a nice place on a somewhat chill island

Fantastic Unit!

I just completed a very relaxing four days at this property. The view is wonderful and the unit was very comfortable. I had everything I needed made available by the condo owners which was much appreciated. The master bed was super comfortable and the staff located on the property were very helpful and friendly- especially “mister Al”. The pool was spotless and beach access very convenient. Lots of parking was available and I greatly appreciated the carts for transporting my belongings! Seamless rental- Would gladly stay here again!

Thank you for coming to Pelican Isle, this one bedroom unit 214 is a great Gulf front unit for a small family or a couple's getaway. We have this balcony door on the list to get inspected for salt water of the Gulf is super harsh and corrodes any and everything it balcony doors are a constant thank you for your patience with that!! We can't wait to have you back!

Our apologies for the elevator status at the Pelican Isle, this is totally and completely beyond anything that we can control and we can't thank you enough for any patience and understanding for this. The added security on property during the peak season is a great go-to we are glad they were able to help you out with the disrespectful neighbors, unfortunately this is another something this is out of our control. It does get busier here during peak season BUT there are WAY fewer people in Fort Walton on Okaloosa Island than there are in Destin or Pensacola or Panama City. So, we hope you keep this in mind that the crowds could've been way bigger and noisier if you'd stayed at a big property. Fortunately Pelican Isle provides a secluded and private getaway. We hope you enjoyed everything else about your vacation and we truly look forward to having you back!!

The good: - Great location, Nice Staff, Very Flexible The Bad: - Cleanliness was an issue - Bedsheets were likely not changed, full of sand - Dirty dishes in the cabinets - It looks like the air filter has never been changed, the room had a musty odor to it.

Lost a loved one prior to arriving and was able to move arrival by one day. Fall Break 2023

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This condo is in desperate need of updates. The furniture is extremely worn out and falling apart, especially the bedroom dresser drawers. I love Pelican Isle Property, but would not stay in this particular condo again.

Pelican Isle

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The booking process was simple and straightforward. All costs were known up front. The customer reps were very helpful when needed. The rental unit was clean and well kept. The only issue was a broken leg on one of the chairs for the dining table. We discovered it on our first full day and reported such to Brooks & Shorey via a phone call. The only property issue was one of the elevators was not working. Wait times were longer but not significant. I would recommend this management firm and property.
