The "upscale" description is on point! Beautiful home, huge family space, well appointed bathrooms. My favorite place in the house was the 3rd level balcony. Spectacular view. Owners were great!

Fabulous

This is a home away from home. Beautifully decorated, plush linens, towels and beds so very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and much more. The ice machine maybe my favorite part. Location is perfect to get away, enjoy the beach without the crowd. Randy was easy to contact and answered all my questions.

Your family is awesome and are excellent quests as well !! We are looking forward to the future visits from your clan! I keep saying this about each family that has stayed in our place, but it is really so nice that you guys care as much about taking care of the place as we do, and that has really helped us with our fears of opening our house to all of VRBO. Beautiful home right on the beach

Had a great week in this beautiful home. Right on the beach. Plenty of space for everyone in our group. Beach is quiet and family friendly. Host was very helpful and welcoming.

Beautiful house on the beach with a fantastic view. from nearly every room. Spacious and comfortable for 2 families and friends. Many well thought out amenities throughout and the kitchen has everything anyone could ask for. Host was very responsive, went over and above to answer any questions and provide an excellent experience for our vacation.

Wonderful quiet family vacation spot

We all were amazed how well decorated and clean this house really was! The pictures on VRBO do it justice! Everything you need in the way of paper items, soaps, plastic bags (garbage down to sandwich size) and cleaning materials are all there. Everything works! There are beach chairs and umbrellas. And the upstairs den/game room/4th bedroom is a perfect hangout spot for teenagers. Randy, our host, quickly responded to every single question we had. Ideal vacation for our whole family.

Amazing relaxation

This is everything you can ask for and more! The house is beautiful with everything you need for a great vacation! The view of the ocean and barrier islands is spectacular and the short walk to the beach basically in the backyard makes taking all your beach and fishing equipment to the beach very easy. Highly recommended for families who like peace and quiet and a low traffic beach. Several small towns are close by with some great restaurants or just stay in and grill at the house. This home and destination will not disappoint you! The owners are the best and are great at responding to any questions. I’m 56 years old and this is probably one of the best family vacations I’ve had. We will be back!

Stupendous Spot!

This house has everything you could possibly need and probably most anything you would want. Beautifully decorated, comfy, well-supplied kitchen (pizza pans included), beach wagons that were a pleasant surprise (we had lots of kids' stuff; ) and my personal favorite, the porch area with 12 actual plants. An oasis within an oasis. Highly recommend the "White Pelican" experience!

Hidden gem

The Carrabelle beach house was an absolute gem of a place. Completely furnished w everything you could think of including things like bandaids, toothbrushes, toothpaste etc should you have forgotten something… The 30-40 yard walk to the beach was nothing to basically have a private beach. Dolphins every day, great morning view from the master BR, plenty of family space, plenty of parking and storage area. Randy was a superb host! Treated us like family! Would definitely stay again for a long weekend or family week!

Don't pass this one up! Beautiful Home, Peaceful Town, close to larger attractions!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely, spacious vacation rental that was perfect for our extended family. With 8 adults and two kids (5 and 7 years old), we were seeking a destination away from the crowds, where we could easily access the beach at any time without the hassle of competing for space. This rental is located in a quiet beach town, with a local IGA grocery store just a few minutes away, making it convenient to stock up on essentials for meals throughout the week. The home itself was incredibly well-equipped with amenities for guests – it surpassed any place we've stayed before. (Seriously!)The location is ideal for anyone looking to explore larger tourist spots like St. George Island (went for dinner) or St. James (went for golf) as well as the charming historic town of Apalachicola, which we spent an afternoon visiting for its shops and eateries. All of these spots were within a 20-minute or so drive from the rental. One of my favorite parts of the home was the large, beautiful screened-in porch overlooking the ocean, where we could relax and enjoy the ocean waves at any time of day. The spacious backyard has a fire pit and is perfect for outdoor activities like cornhole or playing catch. Overall, our experience was wonderful, and we would highly recommend this spot to anyone seeking a peaceful retreat with easy access to nearby attractions when you're feeling up for it!

We are glad that your group got out and explored the surrounding areas...As you saw, this is truly a naturally beautiful area, and it also has a lot of historical significance as well. We love the many restaurants and shops in nearby Apalachicola, and even short visits to touristy St. George Island to eat at the Blue Parrot. Being that we are just beginning to open our home on Carrabelle beach for others to enjoy, we can only hope that we continue to have folks like you that are so nice to us, and make it so fun and fulfilling to share our place with other families. It is such a good feeling knowing that families like yours are making such special and wonderful memories there, just as we have done with our family for so many years. Beautiful family home on the calm gulf waters

By the time we checked in I felt like I was borrowing a friend's house for our much anticipated gulf coast vacation. That's how kind and generous Randy was with information about the property and area. You can 100% trust the descriptions and pictures used in his listing and replies. Randy and Leigh share what was clearly their 2nd home with visitors now. Beautiful, well furnished and appointed home on a pristine, quiet stretch of white sand beach with gently lapping warm gulf waters protected by the barrier islands. Absolute paradise. My wife and I, 3 daughters including spouses and roommate, so 8 adults ranging from 25 - 61, the house and bedroom arrangements worked perfectly. The king bedroom and bath down is Huge and facing the gulf, the king upstairs large also with a nice balcony also facing the gulf. The two bedrooms up share a large bathroom, the queen down has a jack and Jill bath with the main living area. As others have said the absolute star of the house is the screened porch overlooking the backyard and gulf. Comfortably seating 8 at times, mornings and evenings spent reading with coffee or drinks. I love my large 12x18 screened porch at home and I was jealous. Carrabelle is a small fishing town, not a tourist destination, with a well stocked IGA grocery and a very good seafood market Millender & Sons. The house, beach and area were exactly what we were looking for. Quiet, relaxing, beach getaway for our book reading, crossword doing, beach walking family!

Best family vacation ever!

We started our search for a relaxing family vacation and stumbled upon this beautiful house on Carrabelle Beach. Like all VRBO listing you never know what you’re getting until you arrive…we have had some let downs. This was not the case! We showed up early and luckily got to meet the owners (Randy and Leigh). Not only were we blown away by the beauty and craftsmanship of the house but they were both very sweet down to earth people. Accommodating is an understatement! They checked in on us after they left to make sure everything was to our liking and offered up local shops and dinner spots. I can’t say enough about them as hosts but I’ll move on to the house and beach. The open floor plan downstairs makes for beautiful views of the ocean and a homely relaxing feeling like nothing I’ve experienced. The kitchen is huge with a large island and dinning room table. We never felt cramped. They also have an extra fridge/freezer in the laundry room for those crucial extra bags of ice and food overflow. Every room is large and comfortable with every furnishing you would need. All I can say about the living room is WOW! The TV and sound system are A+. After a long day in the beach and full bellies from dinner, movie night is a must! Moving outside, the outdoor shower is so nice and they have plenty of exterior water hoses to spray off all your sand gear. The walk to the beach is very easy even with a cart. Due to the response limits I’ll stop here. I would give 6 stars if I could.

Thank you so much for taking your time to write a review for us, Justin! I will just come right and tell you that we were scared of opening up our place to the VRBO market and sharing it with folks we had no idea about...Then, luckily, that Saturday we were running behind finishing cleaning, and we got to meet your family and friends in person! What a difference you guys made in our feelings about VRBO ! Rather than worrying about whether our place would be in good hands or not, we were immediately greeted with feelings of happiness and relief, knowing that we had just met exactly the kind of people we, ourselves, are, and that you folks were exactly the family and friends that we had hoped and prayed would be coming to stay and enjoy... and even love...the place that we love. We can only hope that all our guests find the love that your family and friends have found for this very special place on the beach. So Justin, now you and yours know what we know, and if we are lucky, it will be here for a long time for us all to love and enjoy! We look forward to next time fella!
