Great quiet space for a getaway. The bed was very comfortable, the grill and hot tub worked as intended!I would suggest bringing your own water as the rural water at the property is a bit potent smelling, but otherwise 10/10 property!

Quiet cozy getaway

Secluded, very clean and inviting. Has three floors with pool table on bottom one. Cozy floor plan layout. Had everything we needed. Only negative is the water had a bad sulfur odor, and carried through entire cabin. The driveway was so steep I could not drive my car up so I had to park at bottom near dumpsters.

Everything was great. We are both seniors. At the top of the stairs it’s hard to see the first couple steps when you go down to the first floor. Could use a light at the top like it does at the bottom. Otherwise great vacation.

Beautiful cabin for a great getaway weekend. The hot tub was so relaxing after our hikes. WiFi worked great & we were able to connect to our Hulu to watch a movie at night. The only complaint I have is the bed was more firm than I care for & it would be nice to have blinds of some kind for the back porch where the hot tub is, just to block the sun setting.

We had a decent stay at the Hemlock. First, I would like to say that the property managers are really responsive, professional and kind. They return communication promptly and handle immediate/simple concerns quickly. The cabin itself is where the one star was taken. It is in desperate need for some TLC. It's a nice cabin, but is starting to become dated. The hot tub is very old and has issues that many people have commented on. I wish the hosts would listen to that concern and update it, it's time. A series issue to note is that there is a bee issue, they have nested in the roof and the walls, I could hear them in the walls and that was a bit spooky. The water and the smell is another thing that can make the stay uncomfortable, but living on well water, I know there's only so much you can do about that. The bed is also an update that would make a world of difference with comfort levels. It took quite a few days after our stay for my back to quit hurting because it's just due for an update. Overall, we had an okay stay, but may not return unless we see that these things have been given love and care. Thank you for hosting us, you are kind and have great communication and we appreciate that!

Cabin was nice, kitchen well stocked for use, pool table in basement was a nice amenity. Scenery after a night snowfall was BEAUTIFUL. Biggest concerns with our weekend stay. Water smell is a issue. I have lived on well water for 60 years so I am aware of hardness issues. So glad we brought a case of water. Bed was firmer than my liking and couch cushions appear to be broken down. Hot Tub Jet 2 button doesn't work.
