The place was clean, adorable and the perfect anniversary getaway. We really enjoyed the hot tub after hours of hiking the beautiful trails. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to others. My only suggestion is to bring a skillet or something if you are going to cook.

Everything was very nice and only thing which is minor is needing a small table by hot tub. Used my cooler and worked perfect. Hot tub worked great and bed was very comfortable.

The Ivy Cottage was perfect weekend getaway. Having tea on the deck early morning completely surrounded by the forest was the best part! Also, the no network helps you disconnect and unwind.

The completely peaceful, restorative getaway that my spirit needed.

The quiet, the beautiful woodland setting, the availability of both barbecue grill and fire pit, the spacious rooms, the complete kitchen--everything we needed and nothing to get in our way.

This was a very comfortable, well appointed, clean property. The one criticism is that we were not prepared for how disconnected we were here. Spotty cell service translated to zero cell service. This combined with no WiFi and no television combined for a less entertaining get away than we anticipated. We did download off line maps which was helpful.

Had an amazing time here!

If you're looking for a cabin stay that is remote, aka no wifi or reception. The house is cute.

I liked the charm of the house but there were cheap fixes from the curtain rods not fitting the frames to the molding being easily knocked out of place. There was also painting over fixes, the silverware wasn't clean upon arrival, and the website's instructions clashed with the emailed instructions about stays. Also, the signage was lacking about where places are, so make sure you know if you should park at the first place or second towards the back right of the property. I did enjoy the charm.

Upon arrival we quickly realized the hot tub was not clean it was green and unclean the property was not prepared for us to stay there we had to drive 30 minutes into town to get service to contact them they offered us a different cabin to stay in but unfortunately the cabin was nothing like the original we paid for I wanted this cabin for the beautiful view of the woods and the privacy it offered and the vintage antique vibe of the inside I was given a cabin with a direct view of another cabin so we had no privacy overall we were extremely disappointed and disheartened to learn that the original cabin we paid for was not prepared for our arrival this was our 1 year anniversary trip and honestly a lot of our time there was spent being upset over this I was offered a 75 refund at 1st which I felt was a spit in the face then over the phone after expressing my concerns I was offered a 140 refund and after checking out I received a text letting me know I was not getting a refund at all

The Ivy was a very nice place to stay with only a couple minor drawbacks.

The cottage was very nice and accommodating with the exception of the black adhesive someone used to secure a headrest in the hot tub. It got all over our swimwear, skin and the tub. The large blind in the bedroom was broken so we were unable to see out the window. The lower shelf on the coffee table looks to have been poorly repaired. The grounds could have used a little more care. The road was very rough. The walkways look as if they were never finished and last autumn’s leaves remained.

Ivy Cottage may forever be one of my favorite trips and rentals. The view, hot tub and serenity of the cottage was spectacular!! My husband and I loved every second! We would definitely return!
