'Rooster Cottage' Hafen mit Deep Water Dock & Anlegeplatz

Das Rooster Cottage verfügt über eine freistehende Garage und liegt auf einem Hektar großen Grundstück am Wasser mit einem Dock und einem Liegeplatz. Die Gegend ist eine ruhige Wohngegend, die mit dem Fahrrad leicht in die Stadt Southwest Harbor zu erreichen ist (etwas mehr als 2 km).
Es gibt eine Marina in der Nähe der Shore Road (Manset Yacht Service), wo Sie schöne Boote mieten können (Ich habe noch nie von ihnen gemietet, aber ich habe noch nie Beschwerden gehört). Mt. Desert Island bietet praktisch alles für Land und Meer. Es gibt nirgendwo so etwas.

Beautiful home in a quiet and serene setting. Rooster Cottage was perfect for our week in Maine. A very comfortable and spotless home. The large back porch was a perfect place to sit, relax and watch the boats in the harbor. Close to Acadia for hiking and Bar Harbor. The Host was quick to respond with questions. Highly recommend.

Fantastic house with gorgeous views. This was a perfect place for our family vacation away from the Bar Harbor crowds but close enough to all Acadia has to offer. The kitchen had everything we needed. Best part was watching the sunrise over the harbor from the porch.

Perfect Stay!

Just returned from a fabulous vacation on Mt Desert Island. Rooster Cottage was just as described and provided us an excellent place to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Southwest Harbor. Acadia National Park is a short drive from Rooster Cottage and is a “can’t miss” place to visit. You will not be disappointed in your stay at Rooster Cottage in Southwest Harbor, Maine!

Ideal location away from busy Bar Harbor

Beautiful vacation home! Great location right on the harbor. The kids enjoyed the yard and it was an easy drive to Bar Harbor and all the top spots in Acadia. Very clean, spacious. We recommmend.

Family trip to Acadia

Rooster Cottage was the perfect place for our COVID-delayed trip to Acadia. It was spotlessly clean, and the two suite bedrooms upstairs served our needs to a tee. Sunrises over the harbor were gorgeous, and we loved taking walks in the evening around the neighborhood. We would stay there again in a heartbeat!

Great location!

My family of five adults stayed at rooster cottage for one week. The house was beautiful, neat and modern. There was plenty of space at the table and living room for everyone to be comfortable. The deck and deck view were our favorite. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful home well cared for. Great views, and very clean and maintained. My only negative is the kitchen needs more pans and utensils for someone who likes to cook. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Wonderful stay

Rooster Cottage is spacious, comfortable, and quiet. Located in the little hamlet of Manset, the cottage offers beautiful views across the working harbor at all times of day. Rooster Cottage is half an hour or so from the major attractions of Acadia National Park on the eastern side of the island, though there are several beautiful hikes just a few minutes away. We can highly recommend this property.

Stunning home with wonderful water view

Five of us totally enjoyed our stay at this lovely home. The deck overlooks the harbor, and we relished seeing the many moods of Maine. The owner was gracious and accommodating & Ronan the caretaker was responsive & helpful. We highly recommend this property.

Beautiful house overlooking the water

This house was even better than the photos indicated. It has beautiful common spaces downstairs, and we appreciated the two en-suite king bedrooms upstairs. (Our group included two adult couples.) We loved sitting on the deck and watching the boats come and go in the harbor!

Great location!

Very clean and spacious, big windows with great ocean views! Nice furnishings and artwork. Upstairs king size beds are very comfortable, but downstairs twins should be only for young kids. All beds have very nice cotton bedding and towels. Had fun biking alongside the shore, amazing trails and beaches nearby. Would definitely go again!

JUST PERFECT!

Absolutely a perfect setting away from the crowds of Bar Harbor but close enough to go to daily. Acadia National Park within 20 minutes. This home is lovely and has perfect views of the harbor from the bedrooms, family and dining room and wrap around deck. All the comforts of home. Highly recommend.

The Rooster Cottage

This property was absolutely more than we could have hoped for. The views, spectacular, the owner, extremely accommodating. If we didn't have plans to do other things while in Maine, I would have been delighted with a good book and a cup of tea on the porch, watching the tides and the boats.
