Unterwegs in der Stadt Tag und Nacht wird kein Problem sein, da liegt in der Nähe zu allen Sehenswürdigkeiten DC muss von einer guten Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel (rote Linie) (Rhode Island Ave) Bahnhof anbieten.
Washington DC ist angenehm das ganze Jahr über, ob es im Frühjahr, um die wolkenartigen Kirschblüten oder im Sommer zu sehen, um Zeuge der spektakulären Feuerwerk auf der National Mall auf der Fourth of July. Washington DC ist die Heimat unserer Nation Capitol, National Mall, die mehrere National Monuments aufweist, Smithsonian Museen und dem Weißen Haus.

We recently stayed here in our visit to Washington D.C. Sherman is very helpful and nice and answered all of our questions. We spent the weekend there and absolutely enjoyed our stay. We had everything we needed. The kids absolutely loved it. It is way better and more affordable than a hotel. The best thing is after a long day at the National Mall or the U street you come back to what feels like your very own home and takes away all the fatigue. Location is excellent, it is close to Subway and U street (Ben's Chilli Bowl) and 15 min walk to U.S. Capitol. You have Internet, Washer/Dryer, Dish Washer, Full Kitchen with accessories, clean comfy beds and everything else. You will not regret staying here. Very Clean!
Had a great 5 nights here. Perfectly functional kitchen, absolutely gorgeous bathrooms, and comfortable beds for all of us. We enjoyed it here very much! A few things are a little wonky, such as the door lock... but we were able to work with it. The toaster about blew up on our first morning, so I reached out to Sherman, and a brand new toaster was on the counter when we arrived home that evening. That was awesome! If you're in DC for all the usual sites, this place was reasonably priced for its location. We were without a car - but easily got around with uber and Metro (far preferred over driving/parking in the city! ). There is a Metro station about a 15 minute walk away, but I suggest using it sparingly. If you're not accustomed to walking 10 mile days, several days in a row, I'd say save your steps and take uber. Either way though, traveling around to the various places from this house is a breeze. The two biggest drawbacks are Internet (weak) and noise. This is a busy street - and clearly a major road for emergency vehicles to travel. Every single night of our 5 night stay had a good amount of sirens coming through. This wasn't a huge issue for us, but definitely something to keep in mind if you need a quiet place to sleep. Thank you to the property management for a terrific spot!
If you’re looking for an authentic D.C. inner-city experience, this is your place. NO CRIME TO REPORT, but the street noise was significant. There were regular overnight sirens, horns, squealing tires, revving engines, train whistles, etc. In all fairness, the other reviews did mention the street noise. The place itself was comfortable. We did have some towels that were stained to the point we would not use them. There were some little issues with the place itself; water damaged door frame & paint bumbling in the bathroom ceiling and a dresser drawer that was off track. There was a stain on the living room carpet and there was a worn spot on the couch. Basically we had an apartment with two master bedrooms, which was very nice. We were able to have breakfast and supper at “home”, when it suited us. The Rhode Island Avenue subway station (Red Line) is about 7/10 of a mile to the east. Although the area near Rhode Island, near 4 St NE, looks a bit “ghetto” on Google street view. We had no trouble walking to and from the R.I. station day or night and we walked it every day. Sherman, the property manager, was very accommodating. We called when we arrived in town and he was there waiting for us when we arrived. He walked us through a “new arrival orientation”, which was much needed. He had some subway cards with limited funds available on them for us to use. He accompanied me to the garage, which is off the alley in the back. Be warned in advance, the “garage” has no roof. Which seems to be not too unusual for the D.C. area. The car stayed parked all week and it was fine. We never once needed to use it to get around during our visit. We had a minor issue with the front door lock, but Sherman had it fixed the same day. We walked about 6 miles a day during our D.C. visit. To enhance your enjoyment of the city do some prep walking before you get to town, you'll thank me later.
Had a great stay in this house with 2 couples. Perfect for 4, but would fit a 2-4 more. It's in a perfect location, within
walking distance to a spot with restaurants and small grocery. Only a couple of miles from capital, but Uber was our friend all weekend. Sherman was very attentive and helped with a couple of things when we got there. It's a great set up with Bedrooms upstairs and living downstairs. Kitchen and living are connected so it made for great place to hang between site seeing. It was quiet all weekend. You are close to a pretty major street (North Capital) but it didn't bother us. I would recommend this house for DC travelers !
Accueil très professionnel. Etat de la maison impeccable. Le seul point négatif, le métro (pour des critères parisiens) n'est pas vraiment à côté, il faut compter 10-12 bonnes minutes de marche et cela est pas très agréable quand on rentre tard le soir.
