We had excellent stay! The condo was clean and just as described, kitchen was very well equipped and the beach gear and coolers were so nice to have to take advantage of the beautiful beaches. It was a fantastic stay for our family of 6.

The unit was perfect for our two couples. The kitchen had everything we needed and the view from the patio was awesome. The location was perfect for us too. Would definitely come here again.

Winter vacation in paradise

Absolutely wonderful home! Very clean and thoughtfully appointed. Kitchen extremely well stocked. Loved the gorgeous views! My family enjoyed our winter vacation in this paradise

Great stay on the big island

We really enjoyed our stay in this condo. It was perfect for our needs. We would definitely stay again. Only small suggestion is to put some solar shades/blinds in the living room as the evening sun can be very bright and if people want more privacy, though the location is pretty private with mostly golf course views.

We had an amazing stay, and Sun Ray Retreat did not disappoint. We appreciated the clean, quiet, comfortable accommodations that were wonderful for both adults, young adults and children alike (we could easily bring grandkids next time). We especially loved the 5 minutes or less proximity to some of our very favorite beaches and places on the Big Island. The included beach towels, equipment and toys were perfect and made our days seamless. Communication was top notch and their digital guide for the condo and surrounding area were very helpful. We highly recommend!

My happy place

This is the second time we have stayed in this condo and the third time we have stayed at Kumulani. The location up the mountain gives you spectacular views of the ocean, landscape, and golf course. We would wake up each morning and have our coffee on the lanai catching the early Hapuna Course golfers come through. Then we would walk or drive down to the Mauna Kea hotel and have breakfast looking at the beach and ocean. Live music at the Cooper Bar most nights is great for a sunset or just hang on the lanai and recap the day. You have access to great tennis and two golf courses. The condo itself is very comfortable and we used the kitchen most nights. Waimea is a short car ride away where you can visit the Saturday morning farmer’s markets and find lots of locally sourced foods to bring home and prepare. We love the Kumulani location and this particular apartment for the views and quietness. I highly recommend!
