The perfect home base for any season, this rural retreat is located just a mile from the 43,000-acre Necedah Wildlife Refuge featuring a network of seasonal hiking and snowmobile trails. You'll also be able to take advantage of a nearby kayak launch for exploring the marsh and wetlands. The Yellow River, Petenwelll Lake, and Castle Rock Lake each offer year-round fishing, swimming, and boating opportunities. You'll find a bevy of charming local shops, bars, and restaurants in the nearby village of Necedah. The property is comprised of a separate cabin and renovated barn, each fully furnished for standalone living. Each home also includes its own firepit area and a gas grill for added flexibility. A trio of kayaks are also provided for use during your stay.

The cabin features plush sofa seating and a smart TV are ready to welcome casual downtime after the day's adventures. The full kitchen comes well-equipped with everything you'll need to plan and prepare home-cooked meals. The bedrooms each feature mass-loaded vinyl sound insulation for ultimate guest privacy.

The barn has been completely refurbished and retrofitted for modern home comfort. Nonstop family fun awaits with features including a foosball table, pinball, a basketball hoop, and indoor/outdoor soccer. There's also a cornhole set for added outdoor entertainment. A massive screen and projector are equipped for cinematic home movie nights. The full kitchen comes well-equipped with everything you'll need to plan and prepare home-cooked meals. There is also a dedicated desk is furnished for remote working convenience.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.
