We were very happy with our stay. Great price for a family of 5 with enough room to not be on top of each other. We enjoyed commuting into the city with the river walk and a ferry ride. Plus the neighborhood offered great food and easy groceries, if necessary. The apartment was clean, quiet, spacious and very comfortable.

We had a great time. The place was adequate. My only mistake was that we didn’t secure parking before we arrived. Owner helped by suggesting we use a parking app.

Cute and cozy home. Convenient for our family of 5. We walked to the ferry or bus stations that took us over to Times Square easily. House was neat and well stocked. Area was safe and people in the neighborhood were very friendly.

Clean, Comfrotable, and Convenient

The apartment was perfect for our group of seven. The neighborhood felt safe and vibrant, and has amazing views of manhattan from the nearby park. Parking can be tricky but we were able to find safe and affordable options nearby, and utilized the public transportation options daily. We were very pleased with our stay!

Jersey city family vacation

Compared to the city this was very spacious. We loved the area we hung out in the kitchen most nights. They offered us great suggestions for places around the area. I would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ozzie’s appartement. The three airconditioned bed rooms are great! There’s a direct bus to New York which is very convenient and usually takes between 20-40 min (depending on traffic). Ozzie recommended to walk a few minutes to the coast and enjoy the beautiful skyline of Manhattan which we did and definitely recommend as well!

I will start with Ozzy was very nice and fast to respond. I will also add that we felt safe and the area was nice.The concerns we had was cleanliness. We found the property to look clean on the surface but lacked actual cleanliness. The fridge needed to be scrubbed down to use. There was debris in the corners and marijuana left in the cabinet with rolling papers.The beds were the next issue as the all were folded in the middle so you sunk in and it was not comfortable. There was also one bed that creaked so loud you could not stop waking up with the slightest movement.Last, the photos were real but very deceiving. There was outlets sticking out of wall, hole in the ceiling around light and kitchen drawer that moves the stove if you tried to close it.

Great neighborhood, comfy apartment

We were in town for a conference at the Javits Center in Manhattan. This apartment was perfect as it slept six of us comfortably, was very conveniently located near public transit (bus, ferry) to NYC, and was located in a neighborhood that felt very safe. I’d stay at this place again in a heartbeat!

Ideal for NYC,good links to the big apple by bus. Good local amenities. Ozzie communicates promptly. Would definitely recommend.

The property was clean and getting ahold of the owners was easy, but you have to use Whatsapp. We had a couple of issues come up and they responded quickly and most was resolved quickly. Downside was the amount of stairs to get to the apartment. Beds were pretty comfortable, but are starting to slant in the middle. Remote for tv we could not find so I had to download a remote for the tv on my phone to make it work. Overall though it was a good stay.

We stayed here for five nights, and due to its centralized location, it is close to transit so I will give it that. Parking was ok once we figured out, but that took a little bit which is not the owner’s fault. Here is why we rated it low. The shower handle was broken prior to our arrival and snapped off multiple times. This rental is for six people which we had but the sixth chair that was in the room with the wooden sliding door is broken so that was inconvenient as we like to play games and eat dinner together. Also the bed in that room is creaky, loud and very uncomfortable. Also there was no air-conditioning in the kitchen, which meant it got very hot even when we were not cooking. The kitchen needs some serious TLC, all the handles on the drawers are loose. Some of the forks are bent. There are no tea towels, oven mitts or salt and pepper. The outlet beside the oven has tiles missing around it and the fan above the oven does not work. In the bathroom, the fan is clearly ineffective as the bathroom smells like mildew. The shower faucet is broken and I am certain that it has been reported before. The apartment was generally clean, but the walls leading into the hallway into the kitchen are definitely in need of a good scrub down as well as baseboards and it does smell like cat pee. I will say that whoever Ozzie has as the housekeeper is clearly not washing the mop heads as they are both absolutely filthy so you definitely need to wear shoes in the apartment.

Good Apartment in West New York

This property fulfilled our needs during our week long visit to the Big Apple. We slept there and did very little else there since we were on the move the entire week. The apartment is clean and has the necessities only. Easy check-in and check-out. Better if you do not have a car but are willing to ride the bus into NYC each day.

My stay in NJ

Overall, it was a good budget-friendly stay with convenient access to Manhattan (close to a bus stop). However, if you are a light sleeper, the noise may be bothersome. Additionally, the mattresses may cause some discomfort for your back.

Many people surprisingly don’t realize that our neighborhood is closer to Manhattan comparing to Brooklyn, Queens, Astoria etc. Our neighborhood is super SAFE, many families and young professionals live here - You can walk in our neighborhood 5am in the morning / Enjoy Manhattan skyline without any issue. We have amazing South & Central American community here which comes with GREAT restaurants across to our property.
