LOONS LANDING is a new property located on beautiful Bass Lake in Traverse City, Michigan. It is fully furnished home filled with lots of room, including 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, a fully stocked kitchen and dining area, 2 separate living areas and a kids recreation area.

The home is split between three levels; the main level is home to the master bedroom, a full bathroom, kitchen and dining area, living room and the entrance to the very private deck that overlooks the lake. From the main level you can travel either upstairs or downstairs. Traveling upstairs you will find two spacious bedrooms with queen size beds. Traveling downstairs you will find another large room for relaxing or playing games. There is also another full-size bathroom in the lower level. The lower level also overlooks the lake and has a walk out patio door to the back yard and Bass Lake.

The home has a mixture of cottage feel with gorgeous pine accents coupled with trendy updates. The yard is grass covered and the property has lots of trees, shrubs and flowers. There is a bonfire pit near the lake. There is ample outdoor seating, and there is a canoe provided for your use.

While here, you will enjoy a quiet neighborhood and amazing sunrises over the lake. There are many animals in the area and on the lake to see. Some include turtles, eagles, loons and of course lots of fish!

The home is located 8 miles to the center of Traverse City. It is a perfect location to stay at and take day trips to famous places in Northern Michigan. The National Sand Dunes, Interlochen Center for the Arts, Mackinac Island, Frankfort, Northport, Suttons Bay, Leland and more!

The home sits on a small lot in a wonderful neighborhood. Due to the proximity of the neighbors, this home is NOT recommended for loud or large groups. It is perfect for small groups who wish to enjoy the scenery of the lake and the amenities of the home.

No smoking inside the rental and no pets allowed.

There is a 3-car parking maximum. Additional off site parking is available if the need arises.

4 great friends and a great house

We booked this house after staying in another on Bass Lake this past summer where we had a great time. So we talked with our friends about doing another house for the color tour in the fall which turned out to be an excellent time/choice. The house was a great choice at the right time. Our friends and us were well pleased with the colors and closeness of the town and a great place to eat. (Boone's)

Great property for a family getaway!

Jennifer was a fantastic host! The property was as described and a great place to get away. Fun games fishing fire pit and a great location as well. Very close to Traverse City. Would highly recommend!

pictures don’t do it justice!

this cottage was amazing! it was clean, in great condition, and was exactly as listed if not better. the pictures did not do this adorable, cozy cottage justice. check in was seamless and the property was perfect. i would definitely come back here! Jennifer was a fantastic host. my only minor issue is that I wish check out time was more normal like 10:00 or 11:00 AM, not 9:00am.

I am a 'native' of Traverse City and this neighborhood. I have my own rental that I have been running for 25 years. I have added managing vacation rentals (on Bass Lake) in addition to my own vacation rental. I grew up on this lake/neighborhood and enjoy everything about it. Meeting new people over the years (becoming friends with many of them) has been very rewarding.

The property is on a small lot with a fantastic view of the lake. The sunrises are amazing. The house is very spacious and provides ample room for people to spread out if desired. There are two large living areas, both with gas fireplaces. All three floors look over the lake. There is a spacious kitchen and dining area to eat and prepare food in.
