The space is a luxurious, beautifully furnished home with new upgrades, newly painted interior & exterior, and entertainer’s resort-like backyard with pool and jacuzzi spa. Modern, fully stocked kitchen with breakfast bar. Dining room w/large table for 6-8. Sleeps 8 comfortably. Please give an accurate count of guests in your reservation. Adding more guests after your reservation is fine, just let us know prior to check-in. Our security cameras are for safety but also for us to monitor the number of guests staying at the property. Please be aware of the fees we will need to collect if we see additional guests not included in your original reservation.
The private pool and spa are open year-round. The large backyard includes a 40" TV, sound system for music/sports on the veranda, Sun loungers, and patio table for 6. There’s something for everyone here, indoors and outdoors, and it’s our goal to give every guest a 5-star experience! We are always just a call/text away and live 5-minutes from the property should you need assistance. We aim to be your new “home away from home” for all your future visits to Southern California! Pool heating add-on: 3-night minimum and cost depends on season—please inquire for your dates. We begin heating the pool 12 hours prior to your check-in date/time. Please advise us at least 2 days before your arrival if you’d like to include pool heating during your stay. Pre-payment required. We have remote pool & spa controls on our phone app should you need assistance after arrival. Guests will be provided a remote control to turn the spa function on & off, however we control the pool heat/settings for guests that have upgraded to include heated pool. Guests are asked not to change the pool heat settings.
Please help us to conserve energy by turning off spa mode/spa heat when not in use. No smoking is allowed indoors. Smoking is permitted outside only! No diving or jumping off balconies into the pool. Parties and events are prohibited. Additional visiting guests, not included in your reservation, must be pre-approved.
Please help us respect noise levels with our neighbors and observe city ordinance “quiet hours” from 10:00pm-8:00am.
We supply propane for BBQ grill and poolside patio heater. We don’t supply fire-logs or wood for fire pit. You may bring your own or request DuraFlame fire-logs in advance for a nominal fee.
For Safety and Security:
Security cameras are installed at the front of the property—One directly outside the front door to record entry, one at the front that faces garage/driveway, and two on the side yards to monitor side-gate access. No cameras are installed inside the home or in the private backyard.
Per CA law, we have door/window alarms (4) on all areas that exit to the pool—Two on the sliders, one on the kitchen window, and one on the exterior of the kitchen door. For safety purposes, after a reservation has been confirmed, we will ask all guests if there are children in your party and their ages. We highly recommend that families with children/babies leave the pool alarms set on ALARM mode. Alarm mode will keep sounding when door or window is opened. Option 2 is CHIME mode which will sound a chime twice when door or window is opened. Upon check-in, please check the switch on the side of each device and choose which option you prefer. For guests without children that prefer no alarm or chime, there is also an OFF switch.
Sunset Hills Area. Great family-oriented neighborhood with Sunset Hills Golf Course views! Tierra Rejada public golf course, wineries, parks, and spectacular hiking all nearby. Lush, professionally landscaped front and back yards with fenced backyard. Great views of mountains, trees, & golf course surround the property. Close to Rams football practice/CAL Lutheran University, and Ronald Reagan Library. Close to freeways and great restaurants/shopping.
One mile to CAL Lu University, 30 minutes to Malibu Beaches and Ventura Beaches. Approximately 1 hour 20 min to Disneyland, 50 minutes to Santa Monica Pier, 40 minutes to Six Flags Magic Mountain, 1 hour to Santa Barbara, & 1 hour to LAX. (Rush hour & traffic conditions may extend travel ETA.)

Full Welcome Book/Information provided at check-in. We are happy to answer any questions after check-in and we are only 5 minutes from the property should you need assistance.
We kindly ask you to read our house rules carefully and keep them in mind during your stay.
Some of the basics:
-Pool heating 3-night minimum heating. Cost varies by season. Inquire for your dates. Payment required before check-in. If you add this upgrade, we monitor and control the heat settings remotely and ask guests not to change the settings or pool temperature.
-Guests will have control of the remote for use of turning the spa on & off. You may adjust the heat temperature of the jacuzzi yourself or we can adjust it for you remotely. Please help us conserve by turning off spa heat and night-time pool lights when not in use! Instructions provided at check-in on how to turn on the remote, the spa mode, and pool lights.
-Please help conserve by turning off all interior house lights/fans whenever leaving the property.
-Please clean/burn-off BBQ grates after use.
-Driveway parking & curbside street parking in front of home.
-Propane provided for BBQ and patio heater.
-We do not provide fire-logs or wood for fire pit. You may bring your own or request DuraFlame fire-logs in advance for a nominal fee.
-No glassware outside by spa and pool. Acrylic drinkware and melamine dinnerware provided for outdoors. (Rated baby safe and dishwasher safe; not suitable for microwave.)
-Lower level game room has queen sofa sleeper and privacy curtain so room can act as a 4th bedroom. Please let us know if your guests will use the sofa sleeper so we can provide its bed linens.
-No parties or events. No unregistered overnight guests allowed. Additional visiting guests must be pre-approved.
-Please respect city ordinance Quiet Hours 10:00pm-8:00am.
-No smoking allowed indoors.
-Please do not rearrange furniture, decor, or patio furnishings. If moved, please return to original arrangement.
-Please respect check-in/check-out times of 4:00pm/11:00am. Late check-out fee will apply. Early check-in/Late check-out upon approval (when available.)
-Please respect furnishings. Guests are responsible to pay for damage.
-Please do not eat in the bedrooms.
-Please use provided coasters.
-Grub towels and rags provided in laundry area for messy clean ups. Please do not use white bath towels for cleaning or makeup removal. Black makeup cloths provided for makeup users.
-If needed, cleaning tools provided in laundry room. Vacuum provided in master closet. Cleaning supplies provided under kitchen/all bathroom sinks.

On Day of Departure:
-Start one load of WHITE bath towels and hand towels. Please do not mix white towels with colored pool towels. Used pool towels can be placed in the bathtub.
-Do NOT strip beds on day of departure. Our cleaning staff will handle bed linens. EXCEPTION: one set of bed linens per bed per stay. If you need to change sheets during your stay, please wash the first set and return to linen closet before checkout.
-Please load and start dishwasher before departure. Stemless acrylic wine glasses will be damaged in dishwasher—Hand wash or leave in sink on day of departure.
-Discard any take-out, delivery, or cooked leftovers from fridge. All other items may remain. Condiments provided may remain.
-Take trash out to the cans on side of house. If you are staying with us on Wednesday night, please take cans to the curbside for Thursday morning pickup. Please roll cans back to the side of house on Thursday evening.
-Guests are responsible for damages-please notify us immediately.
-Lost electronic key charge is $20 per key card.
