Ihre Wohnung öffnet sich direkt auf eine angelegte Wiese mit beheiztem Pool und Grillplatz. Die Honokeana Cove liegt direkt vor Ihrer Veranda - einem abgelegenen und nicht überfüllten Schnorchelgebiet mit tropischen Fisch- und Korallengärten. Hier können Sie nur wenige Meter von den vielen riesigen Grünen Meeresschildkröten entfernt schwimmen, die in der Bucht leben. Keine Menschenmassen oder Beton hier! Nur 38 flache Eigentumswohnungen in einer privaten Wohnanlage direkt am Meer.

Entspannen Sie auf der nach Westen ausgerichteten Veranda und genießen Sie den weiten Blick auf das Meer und die Brandung, die Nachmittagssonne und romantische Sonnenuntergänge. Während der Walsaison blasen und planschen Buckelwale im Molokai-Kanal.

Das klimatisierte Schlafzimmer kann mit einem Kingsize-Bett oder zwei Einzelbetten ausgestattet werden. Schallschutzfenster und Verdunkelungsvorhänge sorgen für ruhigen Schlaf. Die Betten sind auf der einen Seite mit Schaumstoff überzogen, auf der anderen nicht: Wenn die Matratze zu weich oder zu fest ist, können Sie sie umdrehen. Das klimatisierte Wohnzimmer verfügt über ein Queensize-Schlafsofa und einen Paravent (unter dem Kingsize-Bett) für zusätzliche Privatsphäre, falls gewünscht.

Snorkeling from the property we saw a ton of turtles and some eels. Decor is hawaiiana and nothing lavish but homey. Cool breezes in the evening made it easy to sleep listening to the ocean waves break. Small community feel with direct access to Honokeana Cove. Saw many turtles basking on the rocky shore and was able to swim with them. Saw whales every day from the balcony. Only issue was that access to the cove for snorkling is difficult due to the rocky shore and slippery rocks. Other than that, this place was ideal.

Reviewer Comments: We had 4 units, and #114 was definitely the nicest one, the owners sent us a postcard before we arrived, and also left us a $50 gift certificate to the local store, little things that they don’t have to do, but their pride in ownership really shows. They had beach chairs, snorkel equipment etc... again the little things that all add up to a great trip. The condo itself was in great shape. A wonderful place to enjoy the Cove!!! Cari in front office was great and Ray the property manager was on point. Grounds were immaculate. Can’t wait to return.

Honokeana Cove Gem

We have stayed at Honokeana cove at least a dozen times. We usually stay in a larger unit with friends, but had time all to ourselves this time, so moved into this wonderful one bedroom unit. The kitchen has everything you need, and then some. The library is great, with books on the islands, reference books, and lots of just fun reading. We want to stay longer next time and do some more reading. The place is decorated beautifully, and you feel at home right off the bat. And one of the best parts is the extra windows in the bedroom that block out all street noise, and help you get a good night's sleep. All the places around the cove that Art & Nola have listed here, and great, and we have enjoyed most of them, but got a few good ideas from the listings. Highly recommended, and a great value!

And it was just steps from our unit. We enjoyed the sunset over the ocean every night eating dinner outside. And unit 114 contained everything you need for a beach vacation. Along with a fully stocked kitchen, it was just like being at home. Condo sleeps 4, and the two kids slept on the sofa bed in the living room. I wouldn't recommend 4 adults staying over, but perfect for a family with 2 young kids. This is an amazing place to stay, and we look forward to returning in the future.

I hate to give this 5 stars, because we want to keep this property a secret so the next time we book, it is available! :) Was pleasantly surprised at this property...the location, the view, the snorkeling, the grounds, friendly staff and guests! When we come back to the island, will book again at this location. This unit had everything we needed; snorkeling gear, boogie boards, pool noodles, coolers, umbrellas, hairdryer, etc. Art was very quick to respond to our questions. Great restaurants nearby to walk to, Gazebo and Sea House. Napili Market was a quick drive away and had wonderful poke and deli items. Napili and Kapalua beaches were amazing if you wanted a sandy beach.

#114 Honokeana

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This would have been a five start across the board, if the bed was not old & worn. It was a twin put together as a king. It had a giant lump running the length of the bed where the two mattress are put together. Then a squishy "topper" on top of that. Other than that, it was perfect. Both the owner, and the manager are aware of this. Perhaps they will replace the mattress soon. I would love to go back, if they do.

Condo #114 June 20-30, 2023

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This 2023 trip to Condo #114 was the makeup trip for an identical one we had to cancel in June, 2022, due to Cindy breaking a leg just 4 days before the 2022 trip was to begin.Honokeana office staff were great at transferring our payments from 2022 to the new 2023 reservation. Everything having to do with the office side of the reservation went smoothly, and we were kept informed of gate codes, etc.Condo #114 isa very well-appointed condo, and had a number of amenities provided by the owners we have not seen in other Honokeana units (we have stayed in three other Honokeana condos).We also very much appreciate the attention given to keeping the grounds, BBQ, pool and general facilities in good order.

Here’s a message from Nola and Art: We live in Southeast Michigan and have roots in Southern California and the New York City area. Now we are mostly retired; previously, Art was a research lab director (see ArtChester.net) and Nola worked at General Motors. Our neighbors in Malibu had been coming to Honokeana Cove for many years and they persuaded us to give it a try. We loved it immediately! Nicer and more personal than the big resort hotels where we used to vacation. Instead of a mile walk from the parking lot and a mile walk down the hall to your room, at the Cove we can walk off our lanai and we’re “right there” – into the swimming pool, or into the ocean. And swimming with those giant turtles is a unique, almost spiritual experience. We are happy to be able to share this special place with you! Art and Nola Chester

Nola & Art say: We love the Napili area for its low-rise, “Old Hawaii” feeling, and we love Honokeana Cove for its small size, its friendliness, and its superbly landscaped grounds. When Unit 114 became available, we immediately wanted to buy it. Why? Because it’s on the ground floor, you can use your lanai as your “front door”, so you’re not always running up and down stairs. Because it’s centrally located, facing West, with a completely unobstructed view of lawn, pool, Cove and sunsets. And because it’s in the center building, which gets sun and afternoon breezes. We update appliances or furniture almost every year. You will find the condo crisp and clean, with sparkling tile and stone, plus Hawaiian fabrics and prints. There's a big ceramic turtle on the wall of our lanai, in honor of the even bigger ones that live in the Cove.

Nola & Art say: Napili is a great location when visiting Maui, the most beautifully varied of all the Hawaiian islands. It’s a 7 minute drive to the West Maui airport (JHM), or you can also fly in and out of the “big” airport in Kahului (OGG), 55 minutes away. Napili is a quiet location between the big resorts of Kaanapali and Kapalua. You can easily get to those places when you want to shop, play golf or tennis, or visit a special restaurant, but you don’t have to put up with their crowds the rest of the time. Honolua Bay, D T Fleming beach, and the uncrowded northwest coast are just minutes to the north. Lahaina Town, with its bustle and excitement, is just as close to the south.

In all of Napili, we believe that Honokeana Cove is the very best spot! It is a small gated compound of 38 low-rise units gathered around a private cove. The Cove has wonderful snorkeling, with tropical fish, coral gardens and plenty of giant Sea Turtles. Just outside the Cove, visible from your lanai, is one of West Maui’s top surfing spots, where you will see local surfers showing their skills. And if you want a sandy beach for variety, Napili Bay, one of Maui’s most beautiful, is just 5 minutes walk (¼ mile) to the north.
