Mid Century Beach Bungalow on the Island and walking distance to everything.

Hello, my wife and I are from the Pittsburgh Pa area. We love to travel and visit places and see the sites and we also enjoy just relaxing as well.

Our Mid Century Modern Bungalow is in such a nice quiet neighborhood of Venice Island, we wouldnt change it for the world. Palm tree's tropical native plants, sea shells line the lanscaping along with some river rock, and a big plus is our 5' tall private fenced in backyard, so that you can enjoy BBQ or just plain relaxing at the patio and listening to the local birds chirping or your favorite music. We really like the fact that once you get here, you really dont have to drive if you dont want too. You can walk to the Publix grocery store (15 minutes) or walk to downtown to any of the fine restaurants and the many shops (30 minutes) Or just jump on the bikes or hey even rent a golf cart from the local rental place and they will deliver the cart to your front door and you can go anywhere on the island with the cart. Another nice thing about Venice Island is the plentiful parking areas everywhere. You'll hopefully get to enjoy the Farmers Market every weekend uptown on Venice Ave on the west end, they block off the avenue for several hours. We love the area with all the stuff to do and see and the BEACHES, and oh so many to see. Service Club Park beach access is the closets one from the bungalow to go to if you want to just stroll to the beach. Anyways we hope you book with us and enjoy what we have come to love. Our 1957 Beach Bungalow is really an awesome property with its all original Terrazzo floors throughtout the entire house, even the utility room. Oh and the huge windows throughtout the bungalow especially in the 26' long living room space, with roughly 20' of windows allowing plenty of natural lighting. You'll also enjoy the large screened in Lanai in front and enjoy your morning beverages or your evening cocktails, while overlooking the tropical lanscape in front. You will also notice that the property has a large paver drive that covers even under the original carport with an extension across the front Lanai of 22' x 8' for more area to relax as well as the walking paver path through the gated backyard to the large paver patio in the rear with 6 cast chairs around a large cast table. The Bungalow is so light and airy and has been well taken care over the years, we hope you fall in love with it like we did. We sure do hope you come and visit, and relax. Tim & Brenda and family.
