Another Oasis is a 3 bedroom 2 bath ranch home with a large family room addition. My goal with this space is to be family friendly and inviting to all ages. There is plenty of space inside for 10-12 people. The outside oasis is priceless.


This location has the most charming outdoor area. After a long-day of fun at the many activities in the Spencer County area you can have dinner inside or out with the large covered picnic table, gas grill, fire pit and star lights for an evening of memories.


Gentryville is 6 miles from Holiday World. It is a small town with 1 caution light. You will travel through Lincoln State and Federal Parks on your way to the house.

The kitchen is in need of a few essentials, (measuring cups, new frying pan, utensils). I am a clean freak, but it was up to my standards.The host, Tonya was Great!! She responded to my questions quickly.The yard was very nice, fire pit and corn hole game were a lot of fun. Kids roasted hot dogs and marshmallows.All in all the grandkids had a blast!!! My family and I would stay again.

Weekend getaway

Stayed in this house for an extended weekend with the family. We went to Holiday world Friday which was an easy 10 minute drive from the house. The house was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. Would definitely stay here again.

Spacious little landing for families

Cute and very cozy

The owner Tonya was extremely nice. The property was great. We were able to grill and hang outside. Then later did a bonfire and the kids made some s’mores. Plenty of room to hang out inside. Lots of recliners and comfortable spots to hang out. I would stay there again in our future vacations to holiday world.

The house is very cute and nice. We were left items to make s’mores and firewood. The grandkids loved that. The beds are very comfortable. It was a great place to stay and convenient to Holiday World. We enjoyed our stay. The owner is very nice and helpful

Family get away

This house was amazing! The house was way bigger then we could of imagined. My whole family came and everyone had their own space. The bedrooms and closets are huge. The best part was the outside area. The host was gracious and quick to help with any issue. We will definitely be back.

Holiday world trip

We brought our son and his wife and kids to our holiday world mini vacation. There was plenty of space for all of us and lots of space for the kids to run and play. They even had games for the kids. The place was exactly as described. The host was very easy to communicate with and promp with responses. We will definitely plan to stay there again!

Perfect trip to Holiday World

We had plenty of room for 9 friends (adults and children) to enjoy a weekend at Holiday World. There was plenty of space to sleep, hang out and have meals together. It was a short, easy trip to and from Holiday World. We've already decided we want to make it a yearly tradition and another friend is ready to book again for a different group of people. We don't have enough good things to say about this place!

Misleading

Overpriced for outdated double wide. Linens; towels, bedspreads, couches all looked stained and worn like purchased from Goodwill. Zero toiletries provided, not even hand soap for the bathroom sinks. We wiped up a water spill in the kitchen floor and the paper towel turned completely black. Rotting treehouse is a temptation and hazard to children. Overall 3 times the price it should have been.The only positive thing was it was only 6 miles from Holiday World.

I'm sorry you were disappointed in your stay. Appreciate the feedback on the cleanliness. Will discuss with cleaning crew. As for furniture in living room was purchased in last year - guest had oil from Holiday World in last 2 stays - looked as if wet but turned out to be oil and have replacement couch coming. Toilet paper is 1 roll and 1 extra in each bathroom, 1 roll of paper towels (extra in cabinet). Tree house was there when purchased - no access is included (steps have been removed) as it will be coming down this winter. Not to be used for guest. Again, thank you for your feedback will take under consideration for changes.

We were excited to find a place only 6 miles from Holiday World that would accommodate our family of 10. It was an easy drive and had plenty of room with a nice open concept in the living room/kitchen/dining room area. It had plenty of parking, was well air conditioned (a blessing in the heat) and each room had a TV. It did have toilet paper, laundry soap, garbage bags, and hand soap. It is located in a nice, quiet area, which was nice. However, that's about where the amenities stop. You can certainly tell this is a rental and not much upkeep is put into the house. The bathroom in the master had no door!! Why?? The bathtubs filled up while taking a shower so you're standing in your own dirty water, the beds were cheap and hard, the TV's had boxes for Roku which I had to request someone come and fix two of the 4 days we were there, nails were sticking out of the door trim which ripped 3 shirts and a pair of shorts (owner did not apologize and I wound up fixing myself), the couches were old and not very comfortable, not enough towels for a family of 10 let alone 12 which is what is advertised, only a couple of hand towels, kitchen was extremely sparse on items to prepare and serve meals (no measuring cups, strainer, limited silverware, etc.). The outside was decent, but nothing to do other than play cornhole which is a shame because there is so much room. I paid a hefty sum for a 4-night stay. I expected at the very least a decent bed. Would not do again unless updated.

The location was great, its proximity to Holiday World and Lincoln State Park at this price point was wonderful. The parking area is in good shape and easily accommodated 4 vehicles. We had a group of 8 adults and 3 children so the sleeping arrangements were a little snug but the spacious family areas made up for it. There was a TV in each family room and one in each bedroom.It felt secure enough, however the back door had a chain lock that was only attached to the door frame and immediately pulled the door frame off when one of our group pulled open the door while it was locked. The kitchen had enough cookware to get by but I would say it’s pretty barebones. Plenty of plates and utensils however. We cooked most of our meals at the house so I’m glad we brought our own pots and pans.The bathrooms were decent sized and clean but they both lacked hand soap and hooks for hand and bath towels. Also, the one attached to the master bedroom did not have a door, which is a privacy issue when you have 11 people from 4 households sharing a home.The outdoor spaces were lovely. We never got to use the fire pit but we had some meals at the picnic table.Our host was easy to reach when we had an emergency and she was very helpful. Overall, it’s a good sized and reasonably priced place for a group looking to enjoy some of the local attractions. The only thing that would have improved my rating is if the bathrooms had been stocked with hand soap and towel holders.

Our trip had some weather bumps - we arrived and 15 minutes later a heavy thunderstorm went through, knocking down a tree on the property and the town lost power for 3.5 hours. Owner was communicative with us about updates from the power company and brought us additional flashlights. It unfortunately rained every evening of our trip, so we were definitely bummed we didn't get to use the fire pit! Super awesome location for getting to Holiday World and the Lincoln National Memorial and State Parks for hiking! We would definitely return on another trip to Holiday World!

When you drive through Lincoln curves from Santa Claus - it is breathtaking. To know the history of the area and walk where a young Abe Lincoln grew up offers fun while learning to all ages.
