Quiet, clean, safe, and comfortable. The property and proximity to the lake was perfect. Peace and comfort foe the whole trip. Owner was insanely fast at responding and extremely accommodating to any of our requests or needs. I couldn’t recommend enough. I’d book there again 100% no doubt.

We stayed here as a family for the weekend and had a lovely time. The house was clean and well stocked for a family of 5. The house is right off the lake so we were able to enjoy the sunrise and sunset. Sandy has an amazing host. Super friendly and quick to respond to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend staying here for anyone traveling to the Niagara region.

The house was perfect for a ladies get away- very clean, everything we needed. In a very safe feeling neighborhood. We enjoyed spending time by the lake and being able to see Toronto across the lake. Lots of things to do nearby- good food- and even more important not a lot of traffic. Having perfect weather made this fall get away even better.

It was a darling cottage. We each had our own rooms and the beds were very comfortable. The living area and kitchen were also very comfortable and had everything we needed. Some of the floors were uneven, but we adjusted. The main floor bathroom needs updating. The host was very friendly and immediately took care of issues that arose. She is an excellent host

Great Location

House was very easy to find, with good location to everything nearby including Niagara Falls both US and Canada. Yard was adequate for both our pups that came along. Home had everything you need to be away with quit location and good view of the Great Lake. Would stay again!

Wonderful Getaway

My boyfriend and our friends stayed at Sandy’s for a long weekend. The check in was easy and communication was smooth. We enjoyed the view of the lake and the beautiful quaint cottage. When we arrived, Sandy left us an apple crumple cake from a local bakery. Which we of course had to stop in ourselves. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

Wonderful weekend!

My son and I stayed at the property for my daughter's graduation from college. House is beautiful and so cozy. House was well equipped and host was very gracious, was greeted by a nice note and an apple pie. Plenty of room and nice place to relax after helping her move out and her ceremony. Would highly recommend!

Charming cottage

This was truly a quiet house with a nearby calming view of Lake Ontario. The decor was very tasteful and had a cottage feel. Given the age of the building and its uneven floors, the decor and welcoming atmosphere made is very inviting and comfortable. Coffee, tea and local information were among the welcoming features. We wished the building had a direct view of the water although it was just steps away. The upstairs bed was creaky and my 80 year old husband missed having a comfortable chair with a high back and footrest. We appreciate all that went into turning this older home into a welcome space.

Charming home right on Lake Ontario

My family and I stayed here for a week. Three kids aged 11-16 and our dog. We had a wonderful time! The home is in a perfect location, especially if you are doing lots of day trips. We did Buffalo, Six Flags Darien Lake, Toronto, and several trips to Niagara in NY and Canada. Devil's Hole park is beautiful but those stairs are no joke on the legs! Fort Niagara State Park right next door was perfect for long walks with the dog in the early morning and evening. The home was clean, well stocked, and had a cozy charm that made it feel familiar. The kids all had space to lounge around and play video games and watch tv when we weren't adventuring. Sandy was lovely to work with and her suggestions for food, ice cream and local activities were perfect. The other neighbors were quiet and nice and my kids adored a super sweet neighborhood cat they befriended. 10/10 would stay again and recommend to a friend.

Beach house close to the lake

Sandy was a great host, quick to respond and even bought us some bakery for when we arrived. House is exactly as described and is a great value for the price. You can see the lake from the front door and there is a bench close by to sit down and enjoy the view. I plan on staying here again Dave

A great place to spend a long vacation!

Quiet and comfortable, I highly recommend staying at the quiet house on the lake. Close enough to the Canadian border without actually being in a big hotel. 30 to 40 minutes away.

Great stay!

We enjoyed our visit to the Fort Niagara area on our fishing trip. Everything about the property fit well for us, spending most of the day on the water and evenings at the house. Communication was easy and, although there were no issues, I feel Sandy was readily available to assist if there was. Won’t hesitate to rebook next trip!

Cozy place for our family

Sandy’s house was great for our young family of five! The walk to the beach was a perfect relaxing and easy place to explore for our kids and the space easily accommodated us. Fall girls weekend away

Owner has done a great job with the decor, making it a cute, comfortable place to stay. Beds are super comfortable. Furniture in the living room area is very cozy (more chairs and a rug have been added since the listing photos) for relaxing and watching tv. It's an older home but well kept and very, very clean. Owner Sandy was great with communication and offering helpful suggestions of local restaurants and activities.

I grew up in Lewiston and love this unique border town so steeped in rich history. Lewiston is a little hamlet very close to Niagara Falls and was burned down in the War of 1812.. I know everything about this area , past and present and love interacting with my guests. I try very hard to not only welcome them but am intent on learning and guiding them to having the best vacation they could possibly have.

This is a wonderful property. The neighborhood is so quiet and friendly. It is only 3 streets of small houses and cottages with the wonder of Lake Ontario, right there in your back yard. Ot os a very special place and one can't help but bond and relax while there. It is so close to all the action, but yet it is wonderful to come home to peace and tranquility. !

There are so many benefits, it is hard to know where to start. The lake front is just. a few steps away from the house. Although it is private to only the residents of this small community, it is like having your own private lake because there is seldom anyone at the lakefront. There is a wonderful spacious living room with a wrap around couch that is so perfect for visiting with family and friends. I love dogs and even offer an extra service in which I can watch your dog with tender loving care, if you decide to take a long day trip to Canada or elsewhere. .
