Welcome to North Topsail Beach and our home, Burnin’ Daylight! You will not find a more relaxing and family-friendly place on Topsail Island. This secluded stretch of beach is quiet, clean, and kids can have hours of fun playing in the surf. There is exclusive beach and pool access just for Villas By the Sea townhomes. The spacious 4-level townhouse is a reverse floor plan so you can enjoy looking out over the ocean as you sip coffee in the kitchen or relax with a beverage at the end of the day. There is nothing more relaxing than listening to the waves crash as you put your feet up and recharge. You can see the sunrise from the Ocean side decks and the sunset from the Intercoastal decks (this property boasts 6 private balconies in total). There is plenty of room to bring your extended family and make memories that will last you and your family a lifetime.
Our property is spacious and decorated to make you feel like this is the most luxurious and relaxing beachside vacation spot, your home away from home. It's the one place our family can focus on simply being together and having fun; everything else melts away. We want to make your stay as relaxing and carefree as possible.
Burnin’ Daylight was built in 2018, with many upgrades over the adjoining townhomes as this was a private residence. It features top of the line appliances, furniture, and stunning upgrades like marble countertops and tilework. The elevator is centrally located with stops on every floor to make it easy for guests to unload baggage and groceries, as well as to allow access for those with older family members that may have difficulty with stairs. The second floor has a king master suite with adjoining bathroom/walk-in shower, a queen suite, a third bedroom with a full-size bed and a full bathroom with a bathtub. The third floor has a second master suite with king bed and adjoining bathroom/walk-in shower, queen suite, kid’s room with one twin over twin bunkbed and anther full bathroom with a bathtub. Located in the hall closet is the full-size washer and dryer; this helps to be able to pack less. The fourth and top floor is an open floor plan kitchen, dining, and living room with plenty of space to spread out. All rooms have black out curtains for those who like to sleep in while on vacation (like our teenage daughter).
Each floor has its own thermostat and all AC filters are changed regularly. The 4th floor AC unit was replaced in Sept. 2025 for a larger capacity to help keep up with rising outdoor temperatures. The kitchen is well-stocked with everything you need including a dishwasher, oven, crockpot, Keurig, toaster, and, blender. We provide a few items to get you started like dishwasher pods, a few trash bags, toilet paper, hand soap, paper towels, and a kitchen sponge. This will get you started with your stay and to fill-in there is a grocery store just a few miles away in Sneads Ferry. A gas grill is provided on the ground level to be able to cook your meals onsite for the family BBQ.
The ground level garage has been converted into a family theater room with theater style recliner seating plus faux grass carpeting to make it feel like an outdoor drive-in theater. There are also several pub style games like cornhole and darts as well as a kid’s game table and a full size pinog pong table. The convenience of entering through the ground level garage allows you to leave most of the sand with your beach gear or even golf bags before coming upstairs. There’s an outdoor shower to clean up after a long day at the beach.
There is free WIFI (wireless internet) access throughout the home, plus 6 TV’s (one in each bedroom plus the living room).
For Military families visiting Camp Lejune’s Visitor Center is located just 27 miles away.
Villas Dr is near the North Topsail Fishing Pier, and one of our favorite restaurants, Splash, just next door within walking distance, and North Shore Golf Club, a public course, just over the bridge in Snead’s Ferry,. If you want more food choices take a quick trip down to Surf City to find various beachside restaurants including two of our favorites JM’s on the Water and Shaka Taco – get there early these are popular places! You can also venture over the bridge to visit Shuckin’ Shack, Rick’s, or many other restaurants.
The Villas is family-friendly; no main roads to cross to get to the beach or pool. The driveway can accommodate 4 vehicles. There are many amenities within driving distance – here’s a few to get you started:
