Wonderful Stay

Stayed here while visiting family in the area and this was a great place to stay. James was great to work with and house is very convenient to area activities.

Scott was awesome! Him and the family were very respectful and took great care of the house. Scott’s communication was excellent. He responded to questions and helped figure out a glitch with the door lock keypad during his stay. Always welcome back!

Great upstate getaway

We had an amazing time in this cute old house! Lots of toys for the kid and nice and cozy and warm inside so we could enjoy playing in the snow outside. Close to some very cute excursions and restaurants in Chatham! All in all a great place to stay!

Quaint and cozy

We enjoyed our stay and James was very easy to communicate with and answer any questions we had. The fire pit was a nice way to relax at the end of our evening! I usually have trouble sleeping but the bed was very cozy and I was able to get a good nights rest! The area is very nice as well, a lot to do and see.

Cozy Cottage

Nice little house Clean Met the needs for our family wedding so we could spend time with family outside of just the wedding It was cool and the floor fans allowed enough air for everyone to be comfortable

Adorable and charming...!

Second stay at this location. Another amazing visit to Chatham, NY catching our son's shows at Mac-Haydn. Perfect pet friendly homestead with plenty of room for some visiting family members. Once again, James was there for us at every turn for any question/request we had. Love this place...!!!

Time in Chatham

We enjoyed the holiday weekend with our grandchildren. The house although not air conditioned was cool enough with all of the fans strategically placed. The home was stocked well stocked with dry goods, paper products and all the utensils need for meal time. We were all very happy. Thank you

Quaint and comfy in Chatham...!

First time ever in Chatham, NY... Our son is performing in a number of musicals at Mac-Hadyn this summer and we booked this place for a couple of nights. Pretty much walking distance to the theatre and only minutes from downtown. The property was perfect. Very spacious, well appointed and fully loaded for convenience. The host James was extremely responsive and helpful, ready to assist on a moments notice. It quickly starts to feel like a home away from home, a real gem...!

Great house

We came for a wedding at the Ruins. We know the area well as we have family that are local. The house is located in a perfect spot. The entire home was very clean and the bedrooms are cozy and comfy. The bedding and towels were top notch. The kitchen had everything you would want and the living room is great. The owners were lovely and accommodating. The yard is a bonus with a gorgeous Walnut tree in the backyard. I have one caveat: If you are smell sensitive I would ask the owners if it would be possible to refrain from using Febreze spray and plug in air fresheners before your arrival. I know that many people do not mind synthetic aromas and I understand why people use them. It was hard for me to get a nights rest as I am incredibly smell sensitive. Thanks for being great hosts and we loved the house.
