Voll ausgestattete Küche mit Vintage Esstisch und Stühlen sowie Durchgang mit 2 drehbaren Stühlen mit hoher Rückenlehne im Wohnbereich. Full Size Gasherd und große U-Bahn geflieste Theke und Waschbecken. 1940er Metallschreibtisch in der Fensterecke des Wohnzimmers. Große Panoramafenster in Wohnzimmer und Küche mit Blick auf die 8 Hektar großen Wälder. Vollbad aus dem Schlafzimmer mit großer Badewanne und Duschkombination aus Klauenfuß und Vintage Waschbecken und brandneuer Toilette. Very cozy loved the 1930’s vibe. Immaculate clean loved everything about the stay excellent location great communication with the host. Highly recommend this cabin. I thought it looked really cute and cozy when I saw it on the VRBO, but you really have to see it in person to appreciate how cute and all the fun decor that go with this cabin.

A retreat from the world!

It looked like a vintage dream retreat online & it lived up to my dream! Our host was available for any questions, welcoming, and if he designed the interior with it's lovingly appointed decor.... he's my vibe rock star. An "Ahhhh, home" feel with an L. Frank Baum door opening moment to the colorful land of Oz when we walked in.We left our retreat exactly twice.... groceries & book club -- the necessities of life. It was mutual, between we best friends - this was exactly the solitude we longed for to catch up, recharge and relax. Tucked into a little private wooded pocket of hosts property, we were immediately aware of the love & care taken to make guests feel welcome. Everywhere we turned, inside AND out of the cottage was a delight to our senses. My only negative.... Oh right -- there are NONE. Thank you!

Easter Joy

We returned to our favorite place for Easter weekend, and per usual, it was a joy! I had recently been ill. On any other trip, we would have had to cancel because I was not strong enough to leave the house. Luckily for us, this cottage is a destination in itself rather than a boring hotel room. My husband was more than willing to run out for groceries and take out. I contentedly lounged on the couch and puttered around the cottage...and left stronger and healthier.

Perfect cabin perfectly away from and close to “the bustle”

Amazing stay in this Catskill cabin. Above and beyond expectations in all aspects. Clean, private, very cool antique decor, and Paul the host was as attentive and available as one would want (though we never needed to contact him with any issue). We will definitly return!

We loved it here. The house is well equipped and private. It is close to many beautiful nature areas. Main Street has a great blend of vintage and new style shops. Owner is pleasant, easy to communicate with, and maintains the cabin nicely.

Restful retreat

Waking up in the morning and having a cup of coffee on the porch, listening to the birds was the highlight of my days staying at this lovely little cottage. I felt like I was hidden away, back in time with all the retro kitchen appliances and adornments. The cottage is way up the hill, but close enough to coffee, a dinner, a swimming hole, Hudson, etc. The host was kind and generous with the (literal) fruits from his garden. Lovely Quaint Cottage

This was such a perfect cottage for me, my partner and our two dogs. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, taking a bath in the clawfoot tub, walking around the town of Catskill, and being a hop skip and a jump to hiking trails in the catskills. Paul was very easy to communicate with, the cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. The kitchen was easy to cook in. The bed was comfortable. The house was absolutely charming. I am looking forward to recommending folks to stay there!

Hi. I'm Paul Adams and am originally born in Kansas, grew up in North Dakota, college in Minnesota, and have lived in New York City for the last 36 years. I am the Artistic Director of a non profit theatre company for 25 years and also have an apt cleaning company for 30 years. I am an avid organic vegetable gardener and have 70 raised beds which I tend on weekends. I also have a 6 bedroom 2 bath house for rental on this same property with vintage charm.
