The layout and 4br/ba combination give the option for privacy, yet space for gathering. Some of our highlights - Beautiful view, easy walk to restaurant/bars and comfortable furnishings. The rental is very nice . We had some issues with some tubs draining and a fridge that had some small issues . Contacted maintance and never heard back . Had a pest guy show up without letting us know . Other than that it was excellent . Very nice location , close to everything . This is the second year we stayed here . She needs a small amount of love to get back to the perfect rating all the way across .

The property is very clean and everything was just as described. We had a few minor things that we requested for repair and it was taken care of promptly! I would rent from Bask Away again; they are top notch!

We LOVED the proximity to the beach, so convenient for going in & out, not having to walk long distances hauling our stuff. And the outside shower super helpful for rinsing off the sand. A very short walk to several restaurants. The house was clean when we arrived. We had a few minor issues (needed an extra sheet, ie) and BASK was very responsive to our needs. Kitchen could be stocked with a bit more glassware, coffee mugs & larger cutting board but overall we had what we needed. We had a lovely vacation and plan to stay again next summer!

We came down to visit our kids who attend Coastal Carolina University. The house was exactly as listed. It was clean, comfortable and had plenty of room for all. The location is spectacular and we all enjoyed beach walks every morning. The neighborhood is fun, lots of options for food and drinks. The check in and check out procedure was easy. We will definitely use Bask Away again!

Great Waterfront House

Great house on the water with amazing views. Recent updates look great. Home was very clean. Right on the beach with great views from the living room and one of the bedrooms. Nice area, quick walk to the pier and a few restaurants. Honestly can’t recommend this house or Surfside enough. Had a great stay.

We enjoyed dining at the local restaurants, which were within walking distance. Going to the pier for ice cream was another treat we enjoyed. It was nice to enjoy the quietness of the Surfside community and have the benefit to enjoy Myrtle Beach which was a short drive. We had the pleasure of renting a golf , which the grandkids loved. This is our second year renting this house and we are already planning our next visit.

Exceeded Expectations!

This property is absolutely beautiful and the photos don’t do it justice. It’s even more gorgeous in person and I can’t wait to stay here again. The entire process (from booking to check-in) was easy and the trip was phenomenal; it was just the relaxing vacation we needed. Definitely a 5 star experience!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely love this house and its location!!! This was our 6th time to rent this beautiful home. The house is located in a place where we can walk to several restaurants. There is not a lot of traffic or noise. I love drinking coffee on the porch and watching the sun come up. The accessibility to the beach straight from the house is so important to us. There are some issues with general maintenance. The ice maker worked off and on. The garbage disposal didn't work. The knives were mostly missing. The paint is peeling, and the furniture is old. These are minor issues. The major issue for us was that the heat didn't work. The heat/air was not working. The night we arrived, the weather turned extremely cold. It was 55 degrees in the house. The temperature dropped to below freezing that night. It was a very miserable night. I contacted the agent at 7 AM; they didn't contact me until 10 AM. Then the repairman didn't show up until after 2 PM. After he tried to fix the heat, he said it wouldn't be fixed for quite a while. The agent sent over 5 space heaters, which helped. I believe the owner has just not maintained the upkeep of the house. There was no excuse for not making sure that the heat/air wasn't in good shape. Outside of this huge issue, we love the house"

We love the location, and the previous year, we did love the house. This year, was a little different, the patio and deck, definitely need some repairs, my son stepped on a rusty nail and the deck would move several inches downward, when stepped on. After looking at it closer, my husband found that one of the main beams had completely come loose from the post. This being a huge safety issue, we reached out to Bask Away, and have yet to get a response. We also had many spiders and bugs inside the house, which we did not have issues with the previous year. I did reach out to Bask Away, but, never got a response. This is a very nice house, but, definitely needs some TLC.

Getting Away

The house was outstanding. Everything you would want or need. Plenty of room and so easy to make yourself feel at home. I would recommend renting the golf cart, what a treat to drive it to breakfast or dinner at night or treating yourself to some ice cream at the fishing pier.
