Top of the Mountain to Ya is a stunning new cabin with an amazing view of the Great Smokies Nat'l Park. Hot Tub on deck, indoor jacuzzi, 75 inch TV w/ sur. sound, 2 fireplaces, grill, gourmet kitchen. It has been completely rebuilt with the same basic design and amenities that earned a 4.9 rating with dozens of reviews, but is now even better with a larger laundry room, fitness equipment, an expanded gourmet kitchen, and a new half bath accessible off the kitchen. The stunning view remains unchanged.
We chose this location after decades of stays in this area for an unbeatable combination of views, ease of access to area attractions, easy accessibility up a great mountain road, and being in the area known as "The Peaceful Side of the Smokies".
We then bought and completely renovated Patriot Dream, the cabin across the road. After two years, we designed and built this stunning new cabin, using all we had learned from over 150 5 star reviews.
We believe that your in-cabin experience should be spectacular during a vacation, so we equipped this cabin with that goal.

"This new cabin is beyond fabulous! Amazing views & a perfect space. Our family of 5 enjoyed playing games together at the kitchen table, watching TV in the comfy chairs downstairs (adding a couple ottomans would make them extra comfy!) but also had enough space for us to spread out & have some quiet time as well. The location is perfect being so close to the National Park, Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg. The drive up to the cabin was a little scary the first time (with us being from the flat midwest) & then the first time in the dark felt scary as well. After that it was fine & our 10 year old minivan had no problems. I would absolutely recommend this cabin to anyone! If you are looking for complete peace & quiet, make sure the construction below is finished because those hard workers worked 7 days a week (including Sunday, the 4th of July!) up to 10 hours/day! Melinda was beyond fabulous with her communication with me & the ideas she gave me of things we could do. I added her ideas into our trip & everyone loved it!" Michelle

We had a wonderful time at this cozy cabin in the Smokey Mountains. The views from the decks were stunning, and we enjoyed stargazing at night from the hot tub! The cabin is spacious and comfortable, with two bedrooms and two bathrooms that were clean and well-stocked with all the amenities. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals, and the living room had a fireplace and a TV for relaxing! The location was perfect for exploring the nearby trails and is quite close to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge where there’s lots of action to be found. We hiked to a waterfall (Middle Prong Trail), visited a historic cabin (Walker Sisters’), and saw some wildlife along the way. We would definitely recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the beautiful Smokies!

A truly wonderful experience on a mountaintop facing the Smokey mountains. Melinda and Rob did a fabulous job of designing this place. From the luxurious towels, to the appliances and finishes, to the board games- no stone was left unturned. I will miss my early morning cup of coffee on the balcony watching the sun rise over the Smokey’s. We were lucky enough to see several bears too! Will hopefully be back soon! A+++ Oren

We visited Top of The Mountain in early March for almost a week and our visit was wonderful. Our hosts went above board in making sure the home is comfortable and has all the amenities one might need. We only used one bedroom but both rooms are lovely and very comfortable. The hot tub is awesome and along with the decks has an amazing views of the mountains. The kitchen is well stocked and as a cook I really appreciated and enjoyed it. The suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants provided by our hosts were perfect . They were also easy to reach when we had a couple questions. We so enjoyed our stay and hope to return again to this wonderful home, it was just what we were looking for. Thanks again.

Everything about this cabin was perfect from the incredible view, centralized location, peacefulness of the surroundings, comfortable beds, hot tub, cleanliness, and the list goes on.

Melinda was also an amazing host and provided tons of recommendations on things to do and places to eat in the area.

We will stay here again when we return to the Great Smoky Mountains area.

Melinda’s place was great! We were looking for somewhere to stay that had an amazing goal and this one had just that plus some. It was an easy drive up the mountain.. which is something we were worried about. We did bring our truck but I’m sure our car would she made it up just fine. The location was perfect for us.. close to many things! We went to Gatlinburg, pigeon forge and surrounding areas. Dollywood is a must as is Anakeesta if you are looking for things to do outside of the house. We enjoyed drinking our coffee on the porches and I found myself drinking more coffee than usually as an excuse to sit in the chair and watch the fog over the mountains. Responses were quick and we had an awesome welcoming email that really broke everything down for us and was helpful. McKenzie

We stayed here for our Thanksgiving Week and it couldn’t be anymore perfect. The location was awesome & the view from cabin was magnificent. Instructions provided my Melinda & Rob was spot on.

The stay was great and Melinda was a great host! She communicated well before during and after. The kitchen was fully stocked and then some which is always a plus! The hot tub was perfect for the longer days and the jacuzzi tub had an amazing view you can’t beat! We are definitely pleased with our stay!

Cabin is as pictured! Far enough away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to be there in about 15 minutes! The kitchen has pretty much everything you need to cook your meals there! Hot tub was nice and hot!
