In der privaten Chester Shores Homeowners Association am Loon Lake an der Route 8/9 in Chestertown, NY, befindet sich das schöne Haus Cronov inmitten von Kiefern an einer Privatstraße in einer exklusiven Nachbarschaft mit Strandrechten zu zwei privaten StrĂ€nden am Loon Lake.

Das 1989 erbaute Chalet wurde mit Hartholzböden, Fußbodenheizung und direktem Abluftgasofen in einem großen Raum / einer KĂŒche ausgestattet, der / die ĂŒber Thermostate reguliert werden kann. 2008/2009 wurde eine Veranda mit einer neuen KĂŒche abgeschirmt. Eine bequeme 4. 4 mi. Fahren Sie vom Adirondack Northway 87 bis zur Ausfahrt 25 oder zum Stadtzentrum von Chestertown.

Vor-Ort-Hausmeister erklĂ€rt GerĂ€te und Heizung, fĂŒr spĂ€t in die Nacht anreisen finden Sie in der lila Anleitung.

Von den vielen Skigebieten ist das nÀchstgelegene der Gore Mt., eine landschaftlich reizvolle 21 km lange Strecke. Fahrt, wenige Kilometer vom Hudson River entfernt.

Helles, sauberes und gemĂŒtliches 1 1/2 stöckiges Holzchalet, flankiert von WaldflĂ€che sowie 1 ha Vorgarten. 3 Schlafzimmer umfassen: 2 Queen-Betten - Master-Loft-Schlafzimmer und Messing Schlafzimmer; 1 Etagenbett + 1 Doppelbett im Kinderzimmer; 1 Einzelbett im Dachgeschoss.
2 Badezimmer (2 Duschen), großer + offener Wohn- / Ess- / KĂŒchenbereich mit direkter EntlĂŒftungsgasheizung, 1 Hektar großer Vorgarten, Schaukel im Baum zum Spielen / Entspannen fĂŒr Kinder, großes SchĂŒrzendeck auf 3 Seiten mit markisenĂŒberdachtem Essbereich langer Tisch fĂŒr tolle Grillpartys im Freien. Moderne, gut ausgestattete KĂŒche. Leicht zu pflegendes Haus mit herrlichem Blick auf die Natur und die BĂ€ume von Adirondack zu jeder Jahreszeit.

Zwei private SandstrĂ€nde am Loon Lake sind nur 5 Gehminuten ĂŒber die Schotterstraßen eines privaten Vereins entfernt. Parken an beiden StrĂ€nden mit GĂ€stegenehmigung möglich. Gute Angelmöglichkeiten an den Bootsanlegestellen, abgesperrte Badestellen mit Schwimmdocks, großer Spiel- und SandflĂ€che, gepflasterter Basketballplatz + Beachvolleyballplatz, Kamin + Picknicktische am Strand, im Winter Schneemobilfahren oder Eisfischen am flachen Loon Lake.

Im Sommer ein Familienparadies, im Herbst ein atemberaubendes LaubvergnĂŒgen, im Winter ein einsames, romantisches Winterwunderland, im FrĂŒhling ein mt. Das Haus Cronov bietet die ideale Kulisse fĂŒr Ihren Urlaub.

Winter Ski Getaway

Wonderful stay at Haus Cronov. The house was clean, well organized and stocked with all the essentials. There was plenty of room for our family to gather and play games or just sit and read. Lakeside relaxation

Crista is very responsive and always pleasant to deal with, check-in is a breeze, and Haus Cronov is comfortable and meticulously maintained. Conveniently located just a minute from the public beach on Loon Lake--with lots of hiking and other outdoor adventures surrounding. We love the screen porch for family dinners, occasional remote work, and watching thunder storms roll over the mountains!

Spacious ski chalet

We loved our stay at House Cronov, our group of eight had enough room to eat and play together as well as separate rooms to get some privacy after a long day skiing. We loved how clean and well equipped the house was (plenty kitchen items, towels, blankets etc) and how fast the house keeper responded to our needs. We will be back

Great vacation spot

We stayed at this beautiful cabin for 1 week during the summer...3 adults and 3 kids. We had plenty of room! It was very comfortable and was stocked well with just about anything you will need (including most condiments and spices and great games!). Very short walk to 2 beautiful beaches with pristine cool water. The owners and Lilt were a pleasure to work with. Would definitely recommend this cabin to others! Great price for a great place!

Lovely Loon Lake getaway

Our multi-generational family enjoyed another wonderful week at Haus Cronov. The house is clean and updated and very comfortable. Everything is meticulously labeled for guests’ convenience and every possible question anticipated. The kitchen is better stocked than any we have ever experienced in a rental, and the spacious open floor plan and, especially, the screened porch, are perfect for a family gathering. Loon Lake is a peaceful Adirondack destination and the house is very conveniently located to enjoy all it has to offer. We will certainly return to Haus Cronov to enjoy it!

Cozy Retreat Near Loon Lake

Our stay at House Cronov was very relaxing. The home is comfortable, well stocked, and very organized. We especially enjoyed meals in the screened in porch. We tried a number of local restaurants and had excellent meals at each one. One day kayaks were rented and used on Loon Lake for a fun morning activity. In addition, bike trips were taken in the area. One of the trips was a loop setup to go around Loon Lake and Friends Lake. We recommend staying at House Cronov and would rent again! We came to Loon Lake region for a family wedding. The owners were amazingly accommodating for a special need. The house was spacious and there was plenty of room for seven adults and an infant. The dining table was large and comfortable. The screened in porch sealed the deal for us - plenty of seating at two tables. There was no need to go out for meals as the kitchen was fully stocked with pots, pans, dishes and utensils, We were minutes from a very nice grocery store. The bedrooms can accommodate adults on first and second floors. The basement was clean and dry and had twin beds which can accommodate children and plenty of play space. An extra pack n play was very helpful in keeping our 8 month old grandson safe while we ate. Owners left a lovely list of local places to visit and eat out at. The house was spotless with plenty of linens, beach chairs, etc. etc. We were lucky to have picture perfect weather and were privileged to be able to view the breathtaking nighttime stars from the deck out front! We would love to return again some day. It’s a perfect family getaway space!Thank you!!

The property was okay. We wouldn't stay there again. The house needs updating. You can see the wear and tear of the house being rented. The beds are extremely uncomfortable, the bed frames do not seem sturdy, there are huge spiderwebs on the ceiling and lots of dust on the wood beams (house could use a deep cleaning). The property is the first house off the main road, it wasn't as secluded as described.

Clean and sunny cabin

Just as advertised, this cabin was clean, nicely maintained, and comfortable. We enjoyed the neighborhood private beach and relaxing on deck and screened in porch. Host communicated well. The backyard is right on Rt 8/9, so there is a small amount of road noise but not disruptive. Kitchen is very well equipped and we appreciated the info about the area, especially the farmers market in Chestertown. Thank you for a nice stay!

Lovely Adirondack Chalet at Loon Lake

Our three generation family has been vacationing at Loon Lake for several years but stayed for the first time this year at Haus Cronov. The house did not disappoint. The open living space is perfect for a group. It was immaculately clean upon check-in. In two decades of renting vacation homes, I have not come across as solicitous a host as Crista. Everything is meticulously labeled with answers to every question that might occur to you (what's the wifi password? how does this fan turn on? etc.) There is also a comprehensive binder of information and the family's personalized recommendations for the area, and Crista is very quick to respond to any questions you might email. The kitchen is very well stocked--clearly this is a family vacation house where much cooking is done. The large dining table inside and out would seat a crowd, and we loved having meals on the breezy screened porch. It feels like sitting in a treehouse. Couches and linens are updated and carpet looks brand new. There is a newly renovated basement rec room not featured on the listing, with a foosball table that was a big hit with the kids. Loon Lake is pristine and never crowded--we love kayaking, paddle boarding and fishing there. Nearby hikes are lovely as well. Highly recommend the area and Haus Cronov!

Great place for a family getaway

I stayed here with my family who were visiting from Ireland and we had a wonderful week. The house accomodated us well - there was plenty of space over 3 floors for us to spread out. The screened-in porch was just lovely for evening dinners and games and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook big dinners. The beds were comfortable and there are plenty of fans for hot nights. Crista is a very responsive host and got back to me quickly with questions. There are two beaches within the housing association - both about a 4-5 minute walk - and we enjoyed them very much. Some minor downsides: if you're into fishing it's not very easy there - the private beaches don't allow it. The rental does not come with kayaks or canoes, and though you can rent them at a local marina, you cannot park them at the association beaches. This makes it difficult to rent for the week and come and go. Also, there's a photo of a twin bed that wasn't there when we arrived but we made do with an air mattress. The house is located on a main road so the traffic noise permeates the Adirondack nature sounds you hope to hear. Overall, though, I did really love our stay. We swam, had fires in the pit, took long walks and were very comfortable. It's nice that it's very easy to get to grocery stores, ice cream, pizza, and Stewart's. I would definitely recommend Haus Cronov for a great Adirondack experience.

Winter 2022 in Chestertown

Spent another lovely winter at Haus Cronov enjoying the winter offerings of the Adirondacks, especially Gore Mountain. This winter chalet once again provided our family of four with a much needed respite from the daily burn of our school and work schedules. Nothing better than enjoying the late day sun of the Adirondacks in the house after a day of skiing. Crista and Stefan are supreme hosts and incredibly responsive to any issues that may arrive during a stay. We look forward to returning.

Wonderful!

We had a great week! House was lovely, well stocked, and we especially enjoyed eating inside the closed-in porch. Crista was extremely accommodating and responsive. Beach was great! Kids enjoyed the large yard, floating raft, basketball court, and made friends with other residents/ guests and enjoyed many a volleyball game. Water was warm, weather was great ... couldn’t have asked for a better week.

This is our heaven on Earth, the pure opposite of our usual city life. Come breath in the magic of the Adirondacks and relax at our most comfortable home, be it stargazing at night, toasting marshmellows by the firepit, enjoying dinner on the screened-in porch, watching a great film with the family or having a Foosball tournament in the recreation room.

Our chalet sits nestled among great pines yet is conveniently located just off Rt. 8. The neighborhood is quiet and people friendly. We feel happiness every time we walk into the door and smell the cedar wood.

Haus Cronov is bright, cozy, comfortable, well stocked and provides a wonderful home-away-from-home atmosphere. It is set up so that everyone enjoys privacy yet also togetherness since all rooms are spacious and comfortable.

The cathedral ceilings are a joy to be in and waking up in the loft to such ceilings starts every day off fresh and energized. The windows throughout the house are all oversized so the house is very bright.

The kitchen is perfect for cooking and the bar tends to be the gathering place of most guests.
In summer 2022 most of the basement was converted into a terrific family recreation room with Foosball table and a half bathroom. We've also put two single beds down there as a 4th bedroom.
The large screened-in porch is the perfect summer spot and in winter our gas fireplace turns on at a flick of a thermostat, the atmospheres created underscore the cozy, bright friendliness of Haus Cronov.

The yard is huge, with a flat grassy area approx. 1 acre large, a nice firepit for roasting marshmellows and at the back there's a forest area so that all outdoor summer and winter wishes can be fulfilled.

Please note the rental rate increases for parties of 6 and above and we require their names for our short-term rental lease.
