Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This fully renovated first floor unit, offers plenty of space for an entire family with 3 bedroom and 1 full bathroom. Conveniently located on Jamaica Plain/Roslindale line. It is 2 min walk to the bus line, 10 min walk to Bellevue commuter rail, Roslindale Village and to the famous Museum of trees Arnold Arboretum. 6 miles to downtown Boston, 5 miles to Fenway Park and only 2 miles from Jamaica Pond. Walking distance to many bars and restaurants in West Roxbury and Roslindale Square.

Elona’s place is wonderful, just as described in the listing. This was our second stay here because we had such a great experience the first time, and this stay did not disappoint. The home is located on a quiet street with plenty of parking, but close to many restaurants, bars and coffee shops. It’s also walking distance, which is convenient for getting into downtown Boston. We would recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place to stay in the area!

The apartment was just what we needed

We had a wonderful stay in this apartment. It was perfect for our family of four in town to watch a Red Sox game. The beds were comfortable and the host had coffee and creamer at the ready.

Loved our stay at this property. Very clean, great location (roughly 25 minute drive to Boston Common where we would park for the day), quiet neighbourhood, and host is always available to answer questions. Parking is a breeze, room in the driveway or right on the street in front of the house. Hope to stay here again on future Boston visits!

We were seven and concerned we might be on top of each other, but found there was enough space for all of us to sleep and recover after long days of touring. The place is spotlessly clean and parking is ample.

Perfect choice for BC family weekend

For our family of 6, the set up was great. Only con was the one bath; however, we did not spend much time inside as we had events to attend. The bedrooms were generous in size therefore making it possible to get ready in them as opposed to the bathroom. The host was very available and provided accurate instructions for check in and house rules. Street Parking in front was easy to find and short walk to restaurants and grocery store.

They were great with communication. Lovely older home with upgrades. Brought back memories from my childhood home in Pittsburgh which was over 100 years old. Single bathroom was our only issue, but we knew what we were getting.

Great place for easy access to/from Boston

We found this gem while searching for accommodations for storing student apartment contents overnight…typical of many Boston students, move out is not same day as move in. It was not only convenient but a charming street and cute cluster of cafes/bars within walking distance. We loved coming back to a clean, comfortable and cool home base each night. It’s quiet, neighbors were friendly too. I personally found the king mattress too uncomfortable for my back but that’s just a personal opinion. We didn’t realize there’s no laundry but wasn’t a big deal for short stay.

Hi Kristin, Thank you for your feedback. It was a pleasure hosting you and your family. We are glad you enjoyed your stay. Also, we were not bothered by the early accommodations to leave your extra stuff before the check in time which was during our cleaning window time. We have never had any other feedback about the king size bed not being comfortable in the past. We do have laundry and it is located in the basement, it was stated in the Welcome Letter that we sent to you with the check in instructions and other important tips stating that the laundry is located in the basement.

25 min. Uber to downtown Boston or a quick 10 min. walk to a commuter train going to South Station

Home was lovely. We didn’t realize until we arrived, but you are actually renting a first floor apartment from a family who lives on the top two levels. We had our own private entrance and complete privacy the entire time. We enjoyed having the owner on property because we were able to do a grocery delivery the first day (even though our flight was delayed) and they were able to replenish the toilet paper during the week. The kitchen was well stocked and we were able to do laundry down in the basement. It wasn’t ideal sharing a bathroom with four kids for a week, but there aren’t many 2 bath options in the area. We only rode the commuter train one day (as it serves South Station only and we did most of our activities in North Boston) but the walk was easy and convenient. If you are headed to the Boston Tea Party museum, the trolley tour with 1st pickup near one of the hotels or the Children’s Museum (both we highly recommend for ages 4-11) then the commuter train to South Station is great… otherwise, just plan to use Uber or Lyft. Because the house is so far away from downtown Boston, be prepared to pay $30-$40 per trip for an Uber XL to and from the house. We loved the neighborhood. It was safe and there is a fun park within walking distance for the kids. We also enjoyed eating at Sofia’s Grotto the night we arrived as it was only a 12 minute walk from the house and right next to a grocery store. Overall, we had a great time! Hospitable hosts!

Very quiet neighborhood of Boston. It is perfectly located in 2 min walking distance to bus #36, that brings to orange line and straight to downtown Boston in 20 min. Also, it is 9 min walk to purple line commuter rail which brings you to South station and Seaport area in 15 minutes. Jamaica pond and Arnold Arboretum Museum of trees is very close. Also, only 1 mile from Roslindale Brigham and Womens Hospital.
