We stayed here while in town for our son’s wedding. The house is beautiful, and perfect for relaxing with family in between events. We would definitely stay here again.

Rented this house for the groomsmen in my son’s wedding. It was perfect for them. Great location for them to hangout around the fire pit and explore down by the creek. The guys loved it and had a great time staying there.

Beautiful home….we enjoyed our stay and hope to come again in the future! The home was a ‘gem’ off the beaten path. It was quiet and cozy. It had a lot of room for our group of eight to spread out and enjoy time together while in town for a wedding. Very easy check in/check out procedures. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a great home near the Athens/Monroe area.

Needs an outside cleaning. Banana Spiders and webs all around house, bushes and doors. No pets allowed but owner’s/stray Cat with water and food in bowls on front porch living at house without notice. One of our guest was very allergic to cats. I text management asking where the second key lockbox was which was on advertisement, but management company never responded so we were not sure who had the second lockbox.Cobwebs or spiderwebs in the house on the Deerhorns and in windows in living room and in bedroom. Ceiling fans dirty. There was a broken window in the kitchen, which was not previously documented.The location was great for events in Athens, plenty of room for our six, very quiet and beautiful scenery around the property.The place just needs a deep cleaning and then maybe it would be a five in my score.

One of the few VRBO that the rooms are looked like the pictures, it is an amazing house. We spent a lot of time on the screened in porch, just a wonderful house and location. It is a bit far in the country, we drove 20-30 min. to Athens depending on traffic. And comes with a cat, plus food to feed him (outside cat)! Lots of birds, bees, and occasional deer.

The host responded in a timely manner on a few issues we had was very appreciative of that. The house was beautiful and clean, I only have couple of suggestions it seemed that it took quite awhile for the water to get hot in the shower and possibly updated the bar stools.would definitely recommend this place

Beautiful home

We used the home for extended family to stay in for my son's wedding in Monroe. It was the perfect location for family to be together. We loved the seclusion for privacy. I would definitely recommend this home. It had everything you'd need.

Great stay near UGA

We had a great stay at this home. The layout of the house worked perfectly for us with the bedrooms separated from the living/kitchen areas. The rooms were large and we appreciated all of the seating in the living room. Kitchen was stocked well for making breakfasts. Quiet, peaceful location and not too far from UGA.

So much room for our family of 11.

The house was so much more than we expected. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the enclosed deck each morning. The kids enjoyed the game room and the fire pit area was enjoyed by all of us. Kitchen was well stocked.

Family wedding weekend

Rented this home for a weekend wedding at a nearby venue. Property was more than expected. Beautiful piece of property, and ideal location to the venue. Comfortable and roomy.

Riverhouse stay

House was beautiful everything was clean when we arrived. Location was great the only negative that I found was the downstairs had an abundance of huge spiders and teeny tiny bugs but it is in the middle of the woods so to be expected but maybe spraying a barrier would help. Thanks Jordan for accomadating my family and hope to be staying with your property again soon!

Jeri- Glad that you enjoyed your stay! Sorry about your experience with the bugs... we have the house sprayed monthly. We also have the large garage doors that open to the game room. If you leave those up & open, the bugs could come in. We have sprayed again, so should be good! Yes- It is very private & in the middle of the woods.

Beautiful Home and Property!!

A group of us (6 couples) came to Georgia to attend the Combat Veterans Associations Nationals in Athens. As a large group we wanted a comfortable place to stay nearby and the Riverhouse in Monroe was perfect! Very spacious, very clean, quiet area and beautiful property and home. We had more than enough space for our large group and we felt right at home. So much so that some have talked about planning another trip to the Riverhouse- especially to check in on the beautiful, sweet local cat that we have named George. George greeted us every day, was not a nuisance at all, and made our stay even more special. We certainly would book the Riverhouse again!

Pictures don’t do it justice

This is the most beautiful property. It was so clean and well stocked with all our weekend needs. The rooms were spacious and the kitchen was so nice. I wish it wasn’t so hot so we could enjoy the beautiful porch. With that being said the AC kept the house cool with no issues. Our young children enjoyed the game room. Over all this house is perfect for a large family.

Great time at the Riverhouse!

I booked this for my family, and 2 other small families with young children, so we had 11 total. Kids ages 5 to 7. This house was exactly what we needed! We came in on a Thursday to relax and unwind with friends and kids. Kitchen and grill were nice and kitchen had everything we needed. Built a fire outside, and let the kids play in the downstairs game room. Outside area is great for kids during the day, but not at night. I recommend getting there during the day, because night travel around this area is dark and streets not well lit. We drove to the UGA game Saturday, about a 25 minute drive. Beautiful drive, seemed very quick. Would stay here again!! Loved it. The game room had a lot of spiders and spider webs, does need to be cleaned. Grocery store isn’t very close to house. But we were prepared for that. Beautiful property! Thank you for sharing your home with us!
