Home away from home

Property was very clean it had coffee paper towels toilet paper laundry and dish soap to get started it has a 75 inch tv in the living room we stayed for 2 weeks to look around the Richmond area to relocate in a few years the owner Chris was very responsive on all questions I would recommend staying here instead of a hotel for 3 days or longer. The only downside was there was no gas grill to use for cooking but that may be a liability issue

Clean and convenient

We enjoyed our stay at Chris and Anna's home very much. Every thing was clean and inviting. The home was in a convenient location as we visited family in the RVA area. Communication with Chris was outstanding.

Great Property and Location

I stayed here for a work trip that ended up being extended. This property is really nice and in a quiet neighborhood. The host was always very quick and responsive anytime i had questions. I highly recommend this listing if your in the area by yourself or with a famoly since its a yhreebedroom

Well located

We found the property as described on the listing, it was warm and clean and had all the amenities one would expect. It was well located to all the locations we wished to visit in a quiet neighbourhood.

Awesome, relaxing stay!

We loved our stay here! It was very comfortable for our family, all the amenities we needed, overall good location for what we were visiting the city for. Very clean...with the tiny exception of a few dog hairs found on a living room throw blanket, which didn't bother us considering how exceptionally clean the rest of the house was! Lovely decor and a peaceful feel. The host was quick to answer the one time that we needed something. We would definitely stay here again...thanks so much!

Excellent communication!

What’s not to say about this place? 5 min from a Krogers/Restaurants. Spacious enough to fit your needs, but small enough to feel cozy. Own gravel parking spot. Front porch, keyless door entry. Smart TV/Netflix was good. Temp good w/ extra blankies in the living room. Board games. Office desk. Express wash/dry settings on the W/D incase you’re in a rush. Water pressure on toilets a tad on the low side so double flush just incase. Dining room table sits 4. All kitchen appliances work good. We did have to get dishwasher pods but it’s one of those things you buy stuff & add it to the house. 1 of the large sauté pans could use an upgrade as it was super uneven but there were others to use & was no problem. Lots of cutlery. He provided just the right amount of toilet paper & paper towels to last 5 days. Plenty of towels. Each room had an end table & sufficient lighting. All outlets worked. I liked how there was a 2nd half-bathroom downstairs. I would say one thing…in the master bedroom be careful of the foot frame I kept ramming my shins into it; it sticks out farther than the mattress I bruised myself up quite a bit. That aside it doesn’t effect my review at all I wish; I could live in Virginia I had such a lovely time! His communication sealed the deal as he contacted me back literally 60 seconds within messaging him on VRBO. A+!!!

Perfect for families

This was perfect for our family of four, including two kids under 5. It was beautifully decorated, very clean, and had everything we needed for a two week stay. The hosts were very thoughtful but not intrusive. We definitely enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

Clearly newly renovated and well outfitted with everything needed. And enough Toilet paper for the entire stay- a rarity and much appreciated! The hosting felt weird as the original booking listed a property management company as host. Even though we got a welcome email from a host named Chris, asking if we had any questions, they never responded when we did ask a question.

Clean rental, great home base!

We stayed here for just over a week and it was perfect for our needs. Chris was so easy to work with, flexible with the check in time, checked in with us to make sure we got there safely and if we needed anything, and responded quickly if anything came up. The unit was clean and had plenty of room for the 5 of us. Clean towels and linens, decently stocked kitchen, cleaning (laundry), and paper supplies. The neighbors and neighborhood were quiet, albeit a bit outside of the city which worked great for us. Easy freeway access. We actually didn’t spend a whole lot of time here, mostly just sleeping. It worked great as a home base.

Felt Like home

I recently traveled to Richmond (surrounding areas) with my husband and our three teenagers. We are Richmond natives but haven’t been to the city in over 2 years to visit. The property was very clean and came equipped with all of the basic essentials. Communication was clear with the owner. We did have to clarify a little traffic from family members as we invited a few over but lost track of time. The property was warm and inviting and felt like a home away from home! We will definitely consider this property in our future travels. Thanks again for allowing us to make memories in your home.
