We had a great stay at this property! It is the perfect set up for multiple adults and children with plenty of space. The activities provided at the house are fun and the community pool with the lazy river and big slides were a hit! It is very convenient to groceries and the parks. Would stay here again.

My granddaughters loved the themed rooms and the family enjoyed the movie theater. The beds were comfy and not having to pay to heat the jacuzzi was a plus. The place does need some maintenance. The paint is worn and the baseboards by the stairs pop off. The couch in the downstairs living area is uncomfortable and separates when you sit on it. Overall it’s a great place to stay with it being easy to get to all the theme parks. My family had lots of love and laughter staying there.

Overall, we were disappointed with our stay due to safety concerns, maintenance issues, and lack of communication.Security was a concern from the start. The gate pass system was difficult to use, and one entrance remained open, allowing unrestricted access. The front door also did not latch securely, and the entry code appeared predictable (house # backwards).The community itself was very noisy. A large late-night party occurred our first night, requiring multiple police calls before ending around 3am. Another similar disturbance happened the following weekend. While not the owner’s fault, it may not be ideal for families seeking a quiet stay.The home had several maintenance issues, including a leaking sink, loose molding, exposed carpet staples on the stairs, and damaged outdoor furniture. Listing photos were also outdated (outdoor TV missing).House rules and trash instructions were unclear and inconsistent, which led to issues during our stay. Internet was down for a whole day. We were told it was a service issue accross the entire neighborhood (neighbors confirmed this to be false). Finally an "electrician" was called and fixed the issue that could have been resolved first thing had we had access to the router. Additionally, service personnel arrived without prior notice, which would have been appreciated.Lastly, we saw a corpse floating in the water that only raised further concerns about the overall safety of the area.

Very nice property in Storey Lake, gated community. As with all properties here, there is a chance of loud neighbors but you can call the community patrol or local sheriff if noise goes beyond 10pm. The beds were comfortable and the property has all the amenities listed. Theater room sound was not working from the front speaker but everything else worked as expected. Host was responsive to initial questions before stay and provided all the needed gate codes and check in information quickly.

VRBO is the best!

The property is beautiful inside. The activities inside the house keep everyone occupied. The communication with my host made me feel secure and comfortable. My first booking with VRBO and I will do it again. The process from start to finish is great, You get the best virtual and online communication. Once you are arriving til checkout your host is a txt away.

Jaxson’s 9th Birthday Bash

We absolutely loved this property! I kept watching the kids all weekend and thinking what wonderful memories they will have in the future. They had so much fun and used every square inch of the home. Jaxson said that it was the best weekend of his life. The host and owner were wonderful. Their communication is spot on. Will definitely stay here in the future.

Check in was ok. Some of the rules were a little much such as no shoes anywhere in house, could only use hot tub once a day. Leak in air conditioner had water on game room floor. They did get it fixed after a couple days. The biggest problem was we rented this place for the movie room and the projector was broke and it didn’t get fixed or replaced at all the week we were there nor did they offer a discount or anything.

Overall my family and I had a great time at this property! Communication with host was great. There was plenty of space and things for everyone to do. The pool/hot tub and theater room were the favorites. When we initially got there, I was somewhat turned off by the amount of "rules" this property had, especially since I have stayed at numerous rental properties over the years so I felt the rules were overkill. But I guess people in the past has ruined it for others, so whatever. But for full transparency these rules should be added to the listing, especially only being able to use heat in hot tub 2x a day before they charge. Also, there was no tv outside on the patio or in the game room as shown on the listing and no basketball game in game room either, which was disappointing. Despite those things, I would recommend this property for a large group.

The house itself was beautiful and had a lot of potential for a great stay. However, we were disappointed that the theater room was not operational during our visit. Since our stay was just for a long weekend, it was disappointing that the issue couldn’t be resolved during that time. With eight teenage girls in our group, the theater room was one of the main reasons we chose this home, so not being able to use it was a significant letdown.We also weren’t able to enjoy the community pool, slides and lazy river, as it was extremely overcrowded during our stay.Additionally, the cleanliness of the home fell short of expectations. We noticed several items left behind, such as a used baby bottle under the couch and cigarette remnants outside. There were also quite a few dead bugs throughout the house, as well as some live ones, which made the home feel less well-maintained. It may be worth reviewing the cleaning service to ensure a more thorough job is done between guests.
