Regarding the hot tub temperature, we wish you had contacted us during your stay, as this could have been resolved very quickly. The pool heater had simply been switched from remote mode to pool-only mode, preventing the hot tub from reaching its normal operating temperature. While we supply bath & hand towels and other essential linens, washcloths are not included as a standard item (they are considered a consumable personal item). Many guests prefer to bring their own personal items for comfort. Aside from this small preference, we’re glad the home met your expectations and that you had a pleasant stay. We were somewhat surprised by the reference to an alleged insect issue, as no such concern was reported during the stay despite regular communication with our team and the opportunity to address any concerns immediately. With respect to the damage charge, multiple towels and linens required replacement following your stay due to staining that could not be removed through commercial laundering. Photographs were provided as part of the documentation process. We do not charge guests arbitrarily, nor do we “nickel and dime” visitors, but we do have a responsibility to maintain the property and its inventory to an appropriate standard for future guests.
