Beautiful Custom Log Cabin - Majestic Mountain Views

Genießen Sie die ruhige, majestätisch, malerisch, Aussicht von unserem speziell angefertigten Blockhaus, 'OWLS ROOST'.

'OWLS ROOST' bietet eine 180-Grad-Panoramablick auf Grandfather Mountain, Valle Crucis und einem schönen westlichen Sonnenuntergang. Unser Haus bietet eine warme und gemütliche Umgebung für Ihren Genuss und Entspannung.

'OWLS ROOST' liegt zentral zwischen Blowing Rock, Boone und Banner Elk entfernt. Es ist auch in der Nähe von Linville, Sugar Mountain und Beech Mountain.

Unser Haus verfügt über zwei Schlafzimmer im ersten Stock und ein Vollbad. Das Wohnzimmer und Esszimmer haben Decken und einen großen Kamin gewölbt. Die Küche verfügt über alle Annehmlichkeiten und ist gut ausgestattet mit allen wesentlichen Kochutensilien bestückt. Der dritte Stock hat das Hauptschlafzimmer und Bad mit einem großen Whirlpool. Der dritte Stock hat auch einen Dachboden mit einem Schlafsofa.

Die untere Ebene hat eine Höhle, ein Spielzimmer (Tischtennis, Tischfußball, und die Original-Arcade-Spiel Super Mario). Die untere Ebene verfügt über ein Schlafzimmer mit zwei Einzelbetten, einem Badezimmer mit WC und eine Waschmaschine und Trockner.

Das Haus ist mit WLAN verdrahtet.

Das Haus bietet zwei überdachte Terrassen und einen dritten offenen Deck mit einem großen Whirlpool.

Very cozy & clean cabin with all of the amenities you need. Hot tub and wood burning fire place were a huge plus for the cool nights. Would definitely stay here again!

Great property with beautiful view. Cabin had everything you needed. Sleeps alot of people. However, the road/driveway is curvy and very narrow. Kinda scary but it is paved. You also have to bring your own linens. But again, the cabin is GREAT, clean, and secluded!

Owls Roost

This is a beautiful piece of property. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were there for four days three nights. The property was very clean, very spacious, and fully furnished to our liking. There were eight people in our group, this cabin is very spacious and accommodating for all that were there. I would definitely stay at this cabin again, and I would recommend it for anyone that is looking for a place to stay.

Home away from Home

We had a wonderful weekend at this mountain Cabin, it truly felt like a home away from home. Fully stocked kitchen for easy meal preparation, comfortable living area, nice size bed rooms with very comfortable beds. Hot tub with great views was an added bonus. The owner was very responsive, and hospitable. We will definitely stay again when in the Boone area!

At first our stay was absolutely wonderful. The house was very nice, beautiful location, up the hill in the trees. Very secluded and peaceful. We had a totally positive experience, until we checked out. We knew that this property did not provide bed linens or towels for guests, so we had to bring our own. Because the house was quite a drive up the hill from the town, we also brought items like toilet paper and paper towels just to be safe. The property did leave some paper towels on the counter but we also used the ones we brought as we had 8 people in the house. Packing up to leave, a roll of paper towels were on the kitchen counter. Thinking nothing of it, I handed the roll to my niece since she is in college there at App State. It didn’t cross my mind if it was a roll we brought or was in the house. Well, about 20 minutes after we checked out and left, I received an email from the owners/hosts. They accused us of going into their “paper towel inventory” and stealing paper towels. Seriously? One roll of paper towels? That we provided for ourselves for the most part. If we had not brought our own, we would have used all of the towels they provided and then some. But more importantly, they admitted to surveillance cameras which were not disclosed to us per VRBO policy or NC law. So I would say only rent here if you want your hosts watching you the whole time. Creepy.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. Excellent host who was easy to contact and helpful with my requests. The property is very quiet and peaceful. The inside decor is whimsical and has a definite mountain theme. The Cabin architecture is impressive. I don’t know how they got those massive logs up that mountain. It is solid. The kitchen has everything you need. Very clean. The hot tub was comfortable and extremely clean. The outdoor furniture was perfect. We loved the swing. We saw deer and wild turkeys from the deck. The charcoal grill was ok after I Googled on how to cook on it. I haven’t used charcoal in years.Nothing died in vain! It turned out well. We hired a guide from Speckled Trout and he was amazing. He took us on a private waterfall hike. Harper’s Falls. High point of our stay. We dodged rain and cool temps the rest of our stay. The hot tub was well used. We almost built a fire but didn’t. The park in Valle Crucis is soooo nice. You have a great walking trail along the river and the wood carvings of animals are beautiful.We would stay here again.

We went to celebrate my husband’s bday! Owls’ Roost offered the perfect cozy mountain cabin... We loved the fireplace, hot tub and game room, so much fun for all! We skied but the highlight was the place for sure!

Beautiful mountain stay

Our three generation family group thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The cabin is new and very well stocked with kitchen supplies and games, including a foosball table and arcade game. We took advantage of the hot tub and wood burning fireplace, too. Since we are Florida folks used to flat straight roads, we did the drive up the narrow, winding road before dark, but it was definitely worth it for the peaceful location with a gorgeous view.

We are living is Greensboro and have been residing here for 43 years. We enjoy sharing our cabin in Valle Crucis and want others to relax and enjoy all the amenities that we provide. We like the close proximity of the house to the three towns (Boone, Blowing Rock and Banner Elk).

We built our log cabin after numerous trips to the mountains. The scenery, weather, activities, and restaurants offered the perfect, restful, get-away for us. Our children loved the area and always found plenty of things to do.
