Extremely Disappointing
Renters beware - the pictures on the website do not accurately reflect the condition of this cabin.
Pros: Just one, the converted garage into a gameroom.
Cons: 1) Road. The road is a single lane, one-way, gravel/dirt, steep, narrow mess. It hasn't been maintained, most of the gravel has washed away and has numerous rutts and mudholes from rain runoff. When we got there after a rain one of our cars (Toyota Camry) could not make it up the hill and we had to ferry people up and down in the only 4-wheel vehicle we had. There is no mention of this anywhere.
2) The cabin is not in the condition shown in the pictures. Like the road, the driveway is overgrown with weeds and has numerous rutts. The gutters are completely clogged and have plants growing in them. The landscape hasn't been taken care of in a long time.
3) Interior, while clean was also not in the best condition. Numerous scuffs on all the walls and at least one bedroom had holes that hadn't been patched. There were also holes that were spackled but never painted. Drapes were not properly attached.
4) Kitchen is extremely narrow and you have to stand to the side of the fridge because the counter sticks out and blocks access. This is also the main path to get to the rest of the cabin.
5) Can only get to the bunk bed room by going through the Master bedroom and the stairs have no rails. The only other access is blocked by the beds.
6) Bear proof trash cans are broken. I have other issues but not enough room to list them.
