Located in the heart of Encinitas and only a block and a half from the beach and the amazing shops and restaurants on Coast Highway. Just park your car and forget about it during your stay, you can walk to everything! We fused the Baja California local Mexi vibe with SoCal Surf style to create “Surfy Siesta”. You’ll love this charming quintessential California Craftsman home.

The Neighbor directly to the south of our property is finishing up a construction project that is expected to be completed by the end of May, 2024. This end date may change but as of now, this is the best estimate. The remaining work is mostly finish work inside the unit but there still may be some noisy work days as the project comes to a finish.
This stylish, bright 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom house comes fully equipped with everything you'll need for an amazing stay. Both bedrooms feature a king bed with hotel style luxurious linens designed for a great night's sleep. There's a fully appointed kitchen with everything you'll need to cook a great meal using the large, Wolf oven and range top. For the coffee lovers, there's an espresso machine and a French press and we provide organic coffee for both of them. The sitting area on the front porch is the prefect place to enjoy a cup of coffee and do some SoCal people watching.
The back yard offers an outdoor dining area with alfresco lighting and a loungy area to kick your feet up and relax in the sun. There's also an outdoor shower with hot water so you can rinse off after a long day at the beach.
The space comfortably accommodates 4 people and can accommodate up to 6 people by utilizing the day bed in the living room. Additional $40/night per person charge for more than 4 adults. Please inquire regarding more than 4 people. Additional amenities included: Two off-street parking spaces, smart TV with access to Netflix , Amazon Prime, Hulu & other movie apps, High speed internet/Wi-Fi, washer & dryer.
Note: Guests do not have access to the garage at the back of the property. That space is utilized by a tenant who enters through their own separate entrance at the back of the property. You may see or hear this tenant coming and going during your stay. Our guests have exclusive use of the large backyard area that's pictured in our photos and our guests are allowed to use the back gate to enter/exit the property and take out the trash to the alley. The tenant does not use any other part of the backyard space except the walkway area that comes in from the alley to the garage unit.
Guests have full access to the entire property except for the garage at the back of the property that faces the alley.
Keyless entry and self check-in any time after 3 PM. Interaction with host via Airbnb message, or phone. Hosts live nearby as well.
This prime location in downtown Encinitas is just a block and a half from the beach access stairs at D Street and 2 blocks from Moonlight Beach. Walking the other direction you're just 2 blocks from great restaurants, shops, and coffee on Coast Highway. It's the perfect spot to stay and soak in the friendly, local Encinitas vibe.
Everything you could possibly need is within walking distance. The Train Station is just a few blocks away and other grocery stores and sites just a short Uber ride or drive away!
Beach Gear -
We have provided 4 beach chairs and 2 boogie boards for you to use while staying at the property. They are located inside the laundry room (yellow & white structure in the back yard). Please put them back in this location before checking out of the property. We do our best to keep these items stocked at the property but unfortunately they tend to disappear over time and we are not always able to check if they are there after each guest. If you notice anything missing please let us know so we can get new ones for the property.
*Our cleaners clean per Covid-19 cleaning standards and guidelines.
*We have a strict Cancellation policy. Please consider 3rd Party Travel Insurance to safeguard your travels if there is a chance for your need to alter or cancel your travels.

*Strict Noise Limitations, especially after 10pm. This is not a party Pad.
*Pet Policy – Dogs are welcome at the property. We charge a pet fee of $100 per stay for 1 dog & $150 for 2 dogs, and ask that they have had a recent flea treatment (within 3 weeks of your arrival date). We also ask that you do not allow them on any of the furniture or beds and that you pick up all pet waste from the property and dispose of it in the trash. These rules also apply to “service animals”. Please indicate that you will be traveling with your dog when you send your reservation request and Airbnb will include the $100 fee with your booking. We will have to send a separate payment request of $50 for the second dog through the Airbnb resolution center after your booking is confirmed.
*Cats are not allowed at the property. If you are traveling with a cat or some other pet please contact us to discuss before booking.
*We strongly recommend that all of our guests obtain Travel Insurance to cover unforeseen incidents that might prevent you from traveling during your scheduled dates. We cannot provide refunds that fall outside of our cancelation policy period.
*The property is being leased and operated (Hosted) by Capri by the Sea, LLC. Guests are permitted to use the property starting at 3 PM on the first day of their stay until 11 AM on the last day of their stay for all confirmed reservations that have been paid in full. Guests do not have any rights to the property as "tenants" as described by CA law. By booking this property guests agree to these terms.
