This was a quaint space, walking distance from everything in downtown sagatuck. Very close to the water! I would definitely recommend for a couple or single travel, probably not for any more than 2. I stayed with a friend, we shared the bed, and it was the perfect amount of space. Parking was included and the host was very responsive when we asked for late check in and an extra parking pass. Would definitely stay again!

This property has easy parking and is in a great location. We walked to everything which was great. Check in was smooth and there is everything needed for a comfortable stay as far as dishes, towels, etc. Something to note is the air conditioning is a window unit that doesn't really effectively cool the place and we did wake up pretty sweaty. It didn't affect our stay but it would have been nice to know. Twenty minutes before checkout we did have someone enter the property without prior notice or announcement and begin removing sheets even though we were still there. We did let management know.

For future guests, we do want to clarify that the listing notes there is no central AC and that the apartment has a window AC unit during the summer months, along with a box fan. We also provide suggestions in the listing for maximizing the cooling throughout the apartment. We sincerely apologize for the premature entry by our housekeeping team. Guests' privacy is extremely important to us, and our team should never enter the property before the scheduled 10:00 a.m. checkout time while guests are still present. Great location and just what the two of us needed for a self-guided weekend in Saugatuck. The place is on the quiet end of the main drag, which made most of our activities quite walkable. We reported a minor broken (shared) lawn furniture issue to the host and would advise the owner to upgrade the mattress and sheets for future guests. The sunken middle in the mattress made for a tricky sleeping arrangement, while the synthetic sheets were less breathable than a cotton bedding solution. Otherwise, a well-appointed small unit in the heart of it all!

Great location

Great location near town - simple, clean 1 bedroom that is a nice place to rest after full days in Saugatuck. The bathroom tub didn't drain well but other than that everything was great.

Place was exactly as listed. Cozy and clean! Great location! I didn’t have any issues during the stay but from the communication received throughout I knew, if I did, I would be taken care of!

Cozy Little Place

The location is fantastic. We were right in town, were able to walk anywhere, and the beach was only a few minutes away by car. Parking is right outside the main entrance and was very convenient, and the condo was fully stocked with everything we needed to cook a full breakfast. This place is perfect for a couple. The listing says it sleeps 4, but that assumes 2 people in the bed and 2 people on the pullout couch; however there is no way 2 grown adults could comfortably sleep on the pullout. The pullout is old and the mattress is not in great shape. Our 2 young girls shared the pullout but our 12 year old ended up on the floor because she was so uncomfortable. We were told the owner purchased a new pullout couch but it is back ordered. Overall, yes the place is small but it’s plenty comfortable for 2 adults or for a family of 4 with small children. I would recommend it due to the location, the cleanliness, the convenience, and the friendliness of the company.

Don't waste your money

Very disappointing. The pull out couch wouldn't pull out and got stuck half way in and out. A representative needed to wrestle with it for 15 minutes to get it out. At that time I commented on the condition of the mattress. It was absolutely terrible. The mattress had springs poking out and holes in it. He said he would contact the owner and in the meantime see if he had a mattress topper. I never heard from him again. I wound up having to buy an air mattress rather than leaving a day early or paying to stay somewhere else. In addition, the tiny air conditioner in the bedroom was intended to cool the whole apartment. It did not! And it was so loud it interfered with conversation and sleep. The bathroom was tiny. You couldn't sit on the toilet without turning at an angle. The shower didn't drain well and was narrow. The cheap plastic curtain kept trying to cling to me while showering. The two things I look for in a rental is a good night sleep and a good shower and this provided neither of those. This location should not be rented until changes are made. It was awful!
