The Fox House: Friends and Family Retreat with Game Room, Pool Table, Volleyball

Welcome to The Fox House in northwest Tucson! Our goal is for you to truly feel at home here. The sun dazzles in the huge backyard, we’ve created a fun-filled game area, there’s ample parking, fast Wi-Fi, a quiet workspace, cheery kitchen, comfortable beds, and desert and mountain views. A truly beautiful home base to enjoy your Tucson experience!

THE SPACE

Our comfy home is located in a safe and friendly Northwest neighborhood. Designed to honor the hosts' grandparents (the Foxes) who owned the home for 56 years and were huge Tucson enthusiasts, each room has a special and meaningful theme to add to the experience.

The Fox House features a spacious living room with a unique antique piano to enjoy, a bright kitchen, and large dining area. There are 4 clean rooms with comfortable beds (we wash all bedding between guests including quilts and spare blankets so you can snuggle up germ-free), mountain views out of each front-of-the-house window, and a quiet desk for those who work or study remotely. The backyard is perfect for relaxing and dining with a propane grill and small volleyball/badminton court. There is a game room with a pool table that converts to a ping pong table and also a foosball table!

Located on an acre, this home boasts ample parking and beautiful desert landscapes to explore and enjoy.

The neighborhood is quiet and beautiful, featuring amazing mountain views of Pusch Ridge. It is located just minutes from Tohono Chul Gardens and Gallery. This area has the feel of quiet seclusion, yet is minutes from shopping, world-class golf courses and fabulous restaurants, and only a quick 20-minute drive to downtown or the university area. The perfect location for any Tucson vacation!

Please Note the Following Rules and Information:

NO SMOKING OR VAPING ON ANY PART OF THE PROPERTY: This is very important to us, and we insist that you respect this rule. If you want to indulge in smoking or vaping, this is not the property for you! Breaking this rule will result in us asking you to vacate the property immediately and forfeit the cost of your reservation.

NO PARTIES OR SPORTS TEAMS: We have a great relationship with the Fox neighbors and want to keep it that way. This is a quiet neighborhood, and we will strictly enforce the rule to only have approved guests on the property. If you hope to have daytime visitors during your stay, that must be approved before you reserve The Fox House.

NO AC IN GAME ROOM: While the game room is full of fun activities, please note that there is no air conditioning in that room. There is an extra large ceiling fan to keep the area cool, but the game room has a separate entry from the house and does not have heating or air conditioning.

PARKING: Our garage was converted into the awesome game room, so while there is ample parking in the driveway and on the property, there is no covered parking.

BABY AMENITIES: We love little travelers! If you have a baby or toddler who requires a high chair or portable crib, please note they are available if requested ahead of time.

THE DESERT: We love to roam through the desert on the property and hope you do too. However, please note that we do not manicure or maintain that portion of the property- it is truly a wild desert experience. You are likely to encounter snakes or other wildlife, so please do not let children roam unsupervised and wander at your own risk.

SECURITY CAMERAS: For the safety of our guests and our property, we have motion activated security cameras by the front entry and in the backyard that record audio and video and are always on. There are NO cameras in the house.
