Great space, amazing location!

Our stay at Punta Palmera was amazing. Beautiful view from the apartment. Great space. Definitely take advantage of the great golf cart as it is great to have to go to the various beaches and areas close by. Very responsive property manager when we reached out about anything or had any questions about recommendations in the area!

Our stay at Kevins's beautiful apartment was simply perfect. From the moment we arrived, we were enveloped by the warmth of the Caribbean and the incredible hospitality of our host Hector. The location was ideal, just steps from the stunning turquoise waters of the beach, and the property itself was even more beautiful than the pictures showed. We loved the thoughtful touches, from the well-stocked kitchen to the comfortable, air-conditioned bedrooms. The private terrace with its cozy seating was fantastic for relaxing and enjoying the ocean breeze. The host was incredibly communicative and provided excellent local recommendations, including a fantastic seafood restaurant just a short ride away. We felt right at home and truly grateful for the personal recommendations and warm welcome we received. This was a five-star experience from start to finish. We would highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an authentic and relaxing Caribbean getaway and would gladly return in a heartbeat!"

Beautiful, quiet location overlooking ocean with beachfront, pristine pools to relax in. Clean, spacious rooms with absolutely gorgeous balcony to observe stunning sunrises. Juanillo beach nearby offers a pleasant time. Quaint restaurants In marina district or Punta Cana village; our favorites were Burlao and Dolce Italia. Golf cart made this trip extremely special, especially traveling around marina. Host accommodated our every need.

Beach Bliss

We have been to the DR many times and our stay in this condo was our favorite by far. The view from the large balcony is stunning. The unit itself is well appointed with everything we needed. Kevin and Hector were extremely responsive both pre-visit and during our stay. We highly recommend taking advantage of the golf cart. It's invaluable to run back and forth to restaurants and shops. The beach area is absolutely lovely. We really enjoyed our morning runs around the marina, looking at the yachts and sailboats. We are seasoned travelers. I'm pleased to say the the entire experience exceeded our expectations.

Relaxing stay

Our stay at Punta Palmera was very relaxing and enjoyable. A beautiful location with the 360 degree views and easy beach access. The unit was clean and well stocked with all the essentials. Kevin was very helpful by providing us with information about the area prior to our visit. Hector the property manager made our arrival easy and convenient with a stop at the local grocery store on the way from the airport to the property. We highly recommend renting this property if you’re planning a trip to the DR.

Fantastic Vacation

We had an amazing stay. The condo is gorgeous, with meticulously manicured grounds, and located in a very serene section of Cap Cana, with breathtaking views of the Caribbean. The condo was immaculate, beautifully decorated, and the kitchen was well equipped for preparing meals. Located in the complex are numerous beaches, pools, restaurants, and a large marina district. We enjoyed a week of beautiful weather, awesome service from the condo manager, Hector, and fantastic meals that were prepared by Margarita. We can’t wait to visit again.

The most amazing experience!

Kevin’s place was everything we expected and more!! I recently went on a trip with 5 of my girl friends and we absolutely fell in love with the place. The apartment was stunning and very spacious for the six of us. The view was to die for, pictures don’t do it justice. The location was great as well. Overall, 10 out of 10 experience, I have zero complaints about my stay here! Whenever I come back to Cap Cana, I will definitely be coming back here.

Family fun in Cap Cana

We had a great time in Cap Cana for our last few nights in Dominican Republic. The condo was super comfortable, spacious and well equipped; it was perfect for a family of 5. The view was gorgeous and having a pool and a beach a few feet from the condo was very pleasant. Kevin, the host, was very generous and helpful sharing information about Cap Cana and surroundings. Hector, who took care of our check-in and Margarita, who prepared a delicious Dominican meal for us, were very nice and generous. Thank you Kevin, Hector and Margarita!!

One Week Was Not Enough!!

We had an unforgettable week at this incredible property! Its prime location offered stunning views and top-notch amenities, making it the perfect getaway. The eclectic décor and well-crafted, comfortable furniture made the home feel cozy and welcoming, and the fully-appointed kitchen had everything we needed for our stay. Kevin, the property owner, and Hector, the host, went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and relaxation. They reached out proactively before and during our stay to make sure everything was perfect. It truly felt like we were staying at the home of a family friend. I strongly recommend renting a golf cart to make exploring the area even more enjoyable. We can’t recommend this place enough and can’t wait to return!

Punta Palmera Absolute Stunning

As a frequent traveler, I was thoroughly impressed with my stay in Cap Cana. I had visited Punta Cana many times in the past and never realized that Cap Cana even existed. We were amazed at the elegance of the marina district and were so happy that we happened to “luck out” and accidently book the place My girlfriend and I were joined by two other couples, and we were all surprised to find that every room had an uninterrupted view of the Caribbean. The terrace was huge, and we spent many evenings enjoying the view and the company. One of the highlights of our stay was the cook that was supplied. We thoroughly enjoyed the traditional Dominican lunches (spare ribs and something called Mangoo & cooked whole fish with several courses) and the two over-the-top breakfasts that were put together for us. The unit itself was immaculate, and the golf cart provided for us was an absolute necessity for exploring the area; we used it every night to access the restaurants at the marina. Next time we come, we plan to rent a car from the airport as it would open even more possibilities for exploring the nightlife outside Cap Cana. Although I did not fish, we saw several people catching dinner right outside our front door, which was amazing. The incredible pools (2) and the beach outside our terrace were all great places to relax, and the privacy and beauty of the area were unbelievable (on two occasions we were the only ones at the pool). 2024 Dominican Republic stay

Our stay at A23 Punta Palmera was nothing short of exceptional. The place was spotless, and after booking, the host provided detailed information that answered every question, plus a few we didn’t even know we had. Talk about being prepared! We had considered an all-inclusive but wanted something different. I didn’t want a week of watered-down drinks, rushing to the pool in the morning to claim a chair, or paying for archery lessons, yoga classes, and a gym I knew I wouldn’t use. Plus, there’s always that dreaded timeshare pitch I somehow can never escape, and the generic 9:00 p.m. show—how many cover bands, "revised" versions of Grease, or Michael Jackson impersonators can I pretend to enjoy? The property definitely exceeded expectations. The host really undersold it. Not only was everything in the listing spot-on, but there were surprises too—like an outdoor kitchen on the terrace, which overlooks the water. The beach is only about 100 yards away—no views of pools or other units, just uninterrupted ocean views. Perfect for morning coffee in complete privacy. The beds? Let’s just say I had the best sleep I’ve had in years. The combination of fresh ocean air and quiet surroundings made it incredibly restful. The area is super private, with security passes required to enter Cap Cana. Visiting in the slow season was a smart move—we basically had the beach and the pool to ourselves. We have stayed at many rental units around the world.  As world travelers from Canada and having been to Cap Cana twice before, this review reflects our appreciation for the local culture, people and environment.If you are looking to slow down and truly enjoy the moment, this is the spot for you. The time we spent on the balcony just soaking in the ocean view was priceless. The apartment was like a home away from home. The entire area is a gated community so security was never a concern.  The unit has everything you need to be self-sufficient, however, the nearby restaurants are definitely worth the effort. The few minor concerns were quickly looked after by Hector the caretaker. Kevin (the owner) was very obliging and easy to deal with. His recommendations were spot on. We would highly recommend you do yourself a favour and book it quickly. We will definitely plan another trip to this beautiful and well appointed unit.

Wake up to a sunrise over the Caribbean from your bed and, after an amazing day by the pools, enjoy the sunset with a glass of red wine - from right outside your front door. The unique east/west positioning on Punta Bobadilla (a rocky point) grants this hideaway both front and back ocean views - putting the Caribbean on display through EVERY door and window. We took great care to accentuate the Mediterranean inspired architecture of Punta Palmera when we decorated the unit. You will find locally inspired decor and the artwork of the amazing Nestor Rodriguez on display throughout your new home.


Take a break from life and bring your family. Enjoy the kite surfers as you sip coffee from your terrace. Witness the acrobatics of the swarming swallows as you exit your front door and head down to the rip rap along the beach, anxious to try your hand at the red snapper and barracuda that live along the point. Grab your lucky snook or tarpon top water plug (we suggest you bring some medium duty tackle) and skip 30 yards down to the smooth channel at dusk - the place where the monsters roam!

Those that are less adventurous can enjoy two amazing pools. Sit or float, in total tranquility, as you stare out over the Caribbean - book and drink in hand. You can also stroll down to the beach which, like everything else, is in your back yard. Bring a floaty as the ocean here is unbelievably calm, though we do suggest water shoes (lots of shells and broken coral). Just outside of Punta Palmera, but still within the marina area, roughly 1/4 mile away, you will find Agua Azul. This "Caribbean blue" freshwater lake is a local hot spot, boasting a DJ, lunch trucks, and the most amazingly crystal-clear water you will ever see. It is inhabited by a unique form of fish that most spa enthusiast are familiar with. Needless to say, you will love the experience!
