Great Space and Location

We spent 4 weeks in March with our dog and hosted our young adult kids. The location is ideal within walking distance of Kierland and Scottsdale Quarter. Very quiet neighborhood which led to very relaxing days and night using the incredible backyard. We had a few house maintenance issues upon arriving the but the host addressed very quickly and compensated us for the inconvenience.

Unfortunate start to our vacation

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was extremely dirty upon arrival... duvet covers had black stains all over, beds were remade with out washing, dirty towels and sheets stuffed into closets. Bathrooms were very gross, clumps of hair everywhere. Kitchen was in same condition.We made it less than an hour before contacting host.Host was kind, Gave us full refund... not ideal way to start spring break.

Unfortunate start to our vacation

We arrived shortly after 4pm and were greeted by the pungent smell of cleaning supplies… much to our surprise, nothing was cleaned.. I mean nothing.Bed sheets - black marks on them like someone walked on them. Beds were sort of remade and not washed.Clumps of hair in both showers.Vanities had soap scum, toothpaste and hair…Range was filthy, Refrigerator was filthy..We planned to stay a week, but made it an hour.THANKFULLY THE HOST WAS GREAT AND GAVE US A FULL REFUND.We were lucky to have family help us find other accommodations. Hopefully they find solution to make sure this doesn’t happen again. Maybe cleaner should send photos to host for approval? Take a day between rentals?

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a nice getaway for my wife and I. The only issues we had was the cleaning amenities that were supposed to be provided. We had no toilet paper, dish soap, dishwasher pods, and the master bathroom had no soap or shampoo. The entire house also only had one washcloth. Other than that issue the house was in a great location and a good stay.

Beautiful Home

Our family had a great stay in Scottsdale. Everything was as it appears and there was plenty of room for our family. Great neighborhood with close proximity to restaurants and stores. Our kids really enjoyed the air hockey, video game, putting green and corn hole. Great and easy communication with the owner.

FABULOUS HOUSE!

We stayed as a family of 4. We came out to hike, and this gave us a central location to get to The South Mountain Park and Preserve, Tonto National Park, Phoenix Mountain Preserve, Papago Park, and Tempe for some shopping. Lots of good eating in the close area too! The house is so cute, the layout was perfect, laundry machines on site made packing light a breeze & all the bedrooms were super cozy! The backyard is a DREAM - our kids loved the games indoor and out. We grilled one night, it felt like being at home. 10/10 will stay again!

Great Little Bungalow

We did a 6-week stay and enjoyed most everything about it. The neighborhood was quiet, and location could not be beat for access to some of Scottsdale’s best shopping, dining and golf venues. Nearby were two major grocery stores, restaurants, nail salons and other conveniences. The kitchen in the home was well-stocked with ample equipment and a nice coffee bar. Appliances were newer and worked well. Dishes and utensils were plentiful. Bar glass collection was impressive. The backyard was like a private oasis. The pool wasn’t heated, but just having it there added a lovely aesthetic. The putting green and cornhole area provided easy fun, and the firepit was nice for cooler evenings. A split floorplan provided ample privacy. The primary bedroom had an ensuite bath, while two guest bedrooms on the opposite side of the home shared a small hallway bath. The master bedroom was a decent size, with a separate vanity area that made the small bathroom workable for a couple. The king-size bed was comfortable with crisp linens and an overhead ceiling fan. An external door opened to the back patio, lovely for coffee and sunshine in the morning. Overall, the home was well furnished with a quirky but charming style and was clean and well-maintained. The property manager was responsive to the few needs we had, and we were pleased with our stay overall. Clean, comfortable, cozy and a great location with easy access to all the reasons one visits Scottsdale.

Nice looking BUT several problems with key features of the rental

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There were several issues with our stay:1. Simpson's arcade game did not work properly, it continuously shut off after 5 minutes of play for no apparent reason.2. The only coffee provided for the Keurig was decaf. There were filters but no machine to use them in. We did find a French press but had to provide our own coffee.3. The gardeners came on Saturday morning at 8:20am with two gardeners running blowers in the back yard.4. The entry passcode and wifi information were not sent prior to our arrival. We had to call the office to get the rental information at the time of our check-in.5. The rental information was "auto-sent" 24 hours after our reservation started.6. The curtain rods in the living room and primary bedroom fell off their brackets when we opened the drapes.7. One of the patio chairs was completely covered with bird poop.8. The 2nd bed in one of the bedrooms did not have a top sheet or comforter on it and there was none to be found in the closets.9. The hall bathroom door would not stay closed and we had to use a door stop for privacy while using the bathroom.10. The ice dispenser in the refrigerator door did not work, the ice was frozen into a huge clump. There was no ice or ice trays available in the freezer.
