You can sit back and enjoy the view of Walnut Valley by the firepit, or you can venture to one of the many hiking trails close by! This cabin is only 3 miles from the Glory Hole trailhead, 2 miles to the Paradise Falls trailhead, and 10 miles from Boxley Valley and the Buffalo National River!

If you are looking for a clean cabin with serene scenery then this is the one. We visited to get away from the city and have a quiet Christmas. My husband, daughter, and our 3 dogs had a great time. We sat by the fire and relaxed most of our 3 nights we stayed. They do have lady bugs in the cabin, but they are maily in the upstairs area. This is something doesnt bother us as we understand when staying in the mountains. We immensely appreciate the host for accomodating our pets. That means the world to us.

The cabin was very clean and comfortable, and it had the perfect amount of amenities. Our hosts were amazing! They were very helpful with all of our needs, and I couldn’t recommend them higher! The cabin is perfectly located near several great hiking spots, close enough to a handful of dining options, and Rays is just down the road if you forget something at the big store. The location is in an absolutely beautiful setting!

Cute clean cabin

We had a wonderful stay in the cabin. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It’s was very quiet and we saw deer, frogs and other animals and stargazed at night. It was a very relaxing place to spend a few days and close to many waterfalls and recreational areas.

Quiet Time

The property was quaint and very comfortable. The cabin was very well stocked. The beds were comfy. We loved being on a hill all alone. We bought birdseed and bird watched. We enjoyed the lovely sunrises and sunsets.

Comfortable Stay for Hiking

We were two couples on a two-night winter hiking getaway and we would rent this cabin again anytime. It was a great stay.This cabin was the perfect location for two great hikes we did (Glory Hole and Magnolia Falls) and it's close also to Smith Creek Preserve and Boxley Valley trails - and others.We loved that it had two comfortable king-bed bedrooms, each with a bathroom on two levels. Plenty of space. The main house was very open with easy seating. Smallish kitchen but plenty of space for 4. Big deck with nice overview. We used the firepit only one night because of cool night temps but it was very nice.Owners were very responsive - something we value with any rental experience.We give this cabin a 5 star because it was a great stay, very comfortable and perfect for our needs -- one of our favorite stays for great bedroom/bathroom spaces.To keep things real and for those who care, there is some wear-and-tear outside and charcoal grill is worn but workable. Also it's not remote/ near main road but big space and nice broad sunrise view. Tips: bring what you need (we forgot foil and nonstick spray); not many 'renter leftovers.' And pick up a bag of ice (ice trays, not ice maker). It's clear in rental description you need to bring your own consumables, although there were plenty of paper towels and TP provided for two nights. FYI, coffee pot on counter is a drip style (and there were filters) but we also found a pod-style coffee maker in a cabinet if you like that.

Valentine’s Day weekend

Great place to relax

We had so much fun reconnecting and hiking the beautiful area. Jasper Pizza is a must too. We cooked inside due to weather but next time hope to grill and enjoy the outside more. The cabin is very quiet and quaint.
