Das Rock House befindet sich auf 100 Acres und verfügt über 3 Schlafzimmer mit 2 Bädern. Das Haus wurde gerade im August 2019 renoviert. Die Veranda bietet einen fantastischen Blick auf die Natur.

Etwas außerhalb von Parthenon im schönen Newton County, dem Herzen des Buffalo National River. Kanu- und Wanderzugangspunkte sind nur eine kurze Autofahrt entfernt. Jasper und Ponca erreichen Sie bequem mit dem Auto. Bietet einen spektakulären 180-Grad-Blick auf die Berge, kombiniert mit der ruhigen Einsamkeit des Flusses. We loved our stay at the Rock House! The home was clean and comfortable. John and his daughter Amy were very accommodating. We got to visit with John a couple of times. He showed us how to get to the river, both on the property and from a nearby public road and even provided us plenty of firewood. There were a lot of ticks by the river so I recommend bringing tick spray. I suspect it has to to with the time of year rather than location because this was not the only spot we picked them up and we've never had that issue when we've visited the area before. We highly recommend the Rock House and are hoping to get to stay there again on our next trip to Arkansas.

A perfect getaway retreat

Amy and John are wonderful hosts and the Rock House was the perfect setting to come home to after sightseeing. It’s a little remote slice of heaven nestled between the mountains. Really didn’t want to leave.

Magical Getaway!

What an absolute gem of a property! The house was incredibly clean and cozy. We enjoyed time around the fire, swims in the river, and all the local trails. John the property owner was so kind and wanted to make sure we had a perfect stay. We loved it so much, we have already booked for next year!

Relaxing stay with beautiful property to explore

We loved our stay here. This was the perfect house to stay in to access hiking and off-road trails. The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed. We also loved walking the property and exploring the river that is within a 10 minute walk from the house.

Lovely place to stay

We wanted a quiet place to stay while enjoying some hiking in the Ozarks and this place delivered. It was just my wife and me, but there is adequate space for six, maybe seven. The house was pristine nicely appointed. The location gave us easy and quick access to theJasper and Ponca areas. The owner was a great communicator and checked to be sure we were happy and all our needs were met. You won’t be disappointed.

Would Stay Again

Amy (mgr) and John (owner) were both great and answered any questions we had. Loved the history of the area and the location was perfect for us going back and forth from Jasper and Ponca, and to other sites in the area. House itself gave us plenty of room and was well stocked. Above and Beyond!

Our whole experience with Amy and John was amazing and hospitable beyond our expectations. We had mentioned wanting to do a fire one night for our boys (3,6,9) and Mr. John had it all setup for us and all we had to do was light a match. I’ve never had such kind and courteous hosts in all my years of VRBO. You are close enough to Jasper to get essentials but far enough away to not even notice it. We spent 3 nights at the Rock House and loved spending our Thanksgiving there!

In the heart of the Ozarks

The Rock House was a great base for our weekend of hiking. The kitchen is well equipped. Since we had 2 couples, it was great to have two full baths. The beds were comfortable. Close to stores/restaurants in Jasper, and an easy drive to great hiking.

Peaceful, Beautiful Vista, Great Hosts

This property was lovey, well equipped, exceptionally clean. The location was near a road but that was the front of the house, the vista out the back, the river access and firepit were all more than wonderful. Our host was very accommodating and responded above and beyond to our needs. We had a great time and would highly suggest this to anyone wanting to get out of town and closer to nature.
