Charming, renovated Farmhouse on 300 acres. Enjoy countless trails or sitting by the fire pit. Relax inside by gas fireplace and cozy furniture or spread out to the sunporch or kids space upstairs.

Post and beam barn available for wedding cermonies or free play with basketball, cornhole and many more games.

Book the last three weeks of August to enjoy our sunflower fields for your wedding cermony backdrop or simply for a fun photo opportunity.

Located 30 minutes from beautiful beaches and Pemaquid Point Lighthouse. Minutes from downtown Wiscasset with its quaint shops, restaurants and historical sites. Also close to Boothbay Harbor, Damariscotta, and Bath.

Beautiful farmhouse stay

Beautifully updated farmhouse, perfect for two families to visit. We enjoyed walking to breakfast at the restaurant down the hill and a nice hike on the trails around the property. Very quiet and relaxing stay, highly recommend!

Farmhouse was very lovely. Host had great communication with us during our stay. House had plenty of room for us all to be together but also have private space too. Kids loved the bean bag room and the barn of fun! Not a far drive to lots of other towns in this part of the state for exploring. If we ever get to Maine again, would definitely stay here again.

This property is a special gem! A quiet, secluded retreat with views of the farmland for acres! Super clean and cozy! Perfect for adults and families with pets! Family reunion

The property was above and beyond our expectations. From the barn filled with games to the most comfortable beds. It was everything we wanted. Shawn was very responsive and helpful. The property was immaculate upon our arrival. Great place for families with lots to do.

What a wonderful place. Both my daughter’s family and my son’s family stayed at the farm and loved it. It was comfortable for all four adults and all four children. The 6 and 8 years had a blast. The house is set up for children of all ages. It is a beautiful setting. My kids insist that we rent it again.

Elegant farm stay close to everything.

We loved our time at this beautiful family farm. In addition to being close to Wiscasset and Damariscotta, we loved the land and the walks. The house was immaculate and a pleasure to stay in. Having excellent breakfast waiting at the bottom of the hill was great!

Overlook Farm is fantastic! Our family has been coming to midcoast Maine for summer vacation for generations and we were looking for a "home base" for our stay this year (the remote family "camp" is in Damariscotta, but we need modern amenities, too!). The house is gorgeous, spacious, well-stocked, and so comfortable. The game barn is such a great addition and has so many fun games for the whole family. We are so thankful that the Barnes family shared their special farm with us - thank you so much!

The property was everything we hoped for. And more! Clean, well managed, attractive, comfortable and just felt like home. Beautiful Farm House

We stayed at Shawn's farmhouse for the Ironman Maine 70.3 race and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house was recently renovated and is beautiful and functional. The property is so relaxing and close to great seafood and sight-seeing. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend this property and host!

Wonderful Maine Farmhouse

This home is beautiful, spacious, and perfectly stocked. Shawn, the owner is helpful and friendly. It was nice to have suggestions of things to do in the area and places to dine. Our teenagers loved the hideout with the amazing bean bags. The beds and pillows are high quality and comfortable. It was a perfect fit for our family - we cannot wait to visit again!

Fancy Farmhouse

My family and I really enjoyed Shawn's farmhouse for our 2 day stay. Shawn did a great job renovating the interior of the space and everyone was commenting on how nice the finishes were. Shawn also did a great job with prompt responses to any questions we had. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in the Wiscasset area.

Wonderful Stay!

Spacious, clean, updated - everything we were looking for. This property was central to all of the exploring we wanted to do in Maine. The kitchen appliances, bathrooms, grill, furniture and other amenities are top of the line. Shawn is a fantastic host and we would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to anyone. Overlook House Stay

The house is cozy & comfortable. Our group of 6 adults & 2 children felt right at home. It is clean & well stocked with kitchen & bathroom items. The barn was a nice surprise - everyone enjoyed games of ping pong, cornhole, & basketball! The owner was attentive & responded quickly to any questions. We enjoyed nearby attractions & restaurants. A wonderful week!
