Each of the four bedrooms features a king bed and its own en suite bathroom, giving every guest a comfortable private retreat. In addition to the four king beds, the cabin also includes two queen sleeper sofas, providing flexible sleeping arrangements for your group.

Pet Policy

Cubby Bear Cabin is dog-friendly with the following pet policy:
There is a $150 pet fee per booking. Only dogs that are 2 years or older and under 35 pounds are allowed. Up to 2 dogs per reservation are permitted.
Dogs must be crate-trained and potty-trained. They must be crated when guests are sleeping, away from the cabin, out exploring, or any time they cannot be directly supervised. Guests are responsible for picking up after their pets both inside and outside of the cabin.

Additional cleaning fees may be charged if pet waste is left at the property or if excess cleaning is required after departure.

Driveway & Mountain Roads

Cubby Bear Cabin is located in the mountains, so guests should expect winding mountain roads on the way to the property. This is part of the Smoky Mountain experience and one of the reasons Chalet Village is so loved.

The driveway is a bit steep, but it is easily navigable and includes a large turnaround area at the top. This allows guests to drive forward both in and out, making parking and exiting much easier.

As with any mountain cabin, weather conditions can occasionally impact roads during winter months, so guests should plan accordingly during cold weather.

Bear Safety

Keep your eyes open — bears are frequently seen in the Gatlinburg and Chalet Village area. Wildlife sightings can be exciting and memorable, but guests should always watch from a safe distance.

Please never approach, feed, or attempt to interact with bears or other wildlife. Keep vehicle doors locked, do not leave food or trash outside, and make sure all trash is properly secured. Respecting wildlife helps keep both guests and animals safe.

Guest Access

Guests will have the entire cabin to themselves during their stay. This includes all bedrooms, living areas, kitchen, game room, loft, balconies, patio, hot tub, and outdoor spaces available with the property.

You will have privacy and full use of the cabin while still having support available when needed.
