This brilliant space features a cozy living room with an open kitchen, two bedrooms with an en suite bathroom, and a private porch. Bella Vista apartment is on the lower level, with a pool/garden and peek-a-boo ocean view. In addition to the indoor space, there is a large covered porch, a shared BBQ area, a pool deck, and a lush garden.
A mini supermarket, veggie store, SPA, scooter/car rental, and even an emergency polyclinic are just across the street. A few great small restaurants are nearby and available for convenient breakfast, lunch, or dinner. From the apartment, you can head in a minute to the mile of white sandy beach and nightlife at many bars and restaurants.

I hesitate to rate this place because I'd love it to stay a secret. This is such a nice place to stay while in West Bay in roatan. Property manager is right on site and super responsive. They were extremely agreeable and allowed us to check in early. The facilities are clean and well maintained. The location is perfect, a little bit outside of the Beach area which gives you a bit more privacy. I would absolutely stay here again.

Hidden Gem in Roatan's West Bay

First trip to Roatan. Not our last. Encanto del Mar is the perfect spot to explore Roatan's West Bay. Short water taxi ride to the West End. Fully furnished apt, great pool and hosts that made sure our stay was enjoyable.

Great place and location

We really enjoyed our stay in this apartment. It is just across the street from the area where the resorts are located. We were able to walk down to the beach as promised in under three minutes. Lots of restaurants are in the area and also walkable. We never felt the need for a car. The host and hostess were wonderful. The hostess was flexible when our traveling kept getting moved. And she made sure we got picked up and dropped off at the airport. We slept well and had all the amenities we needed. Loved the spa next door for massages — an added bonus.

Best place to stay in Roatán

Tha Accommodations were excellent. It unit was extremely clean and updated with everything your needed. The kitchen was fully equipped, pots, pans, silverware and cooking utensils. they had trash bags, salt and pepper, toilet paper and shampoo and lotion. They also provided filtered water. The beds are very comfortable. The deck was perfect for seeing the sunset, hanging out and eating having a kitchen table out there as well and pool was awesome and also very clean. It was just a 5 minute walk to the beach. restaurants and shops. No need to get a rental car, the owners were helpful and able to be reached at all times. They also can arrange for transportation to and from the airport and the driver will stop at the grocery store for you. We had a great time in Roatan and will be back for sure. Renter Beware!

Buyer Beware! The price listed is for 1 Bedroom Only. I’m only giving a 4 star because the listed price is not what is being charged for 2 bedrooms ( they charge you extra money than what is listed for them to unlock the door to the second bedroom) Overall, the place was fine, nice location, cute place, etc. The only thing is that I was disappointed to learn that although I paid for a 2 bedroom and it is advertised as a 2 bedroom, there is an additional nightly fee for use of the 2nd bedroom which is only mentioned in the fine print of second or third paragraph of the description. This little apartment is as the pictures show and other than the last minute of up charge for the use of the second bedroom and the hostess not being hospitable, it's a fine one bedroom apartment.

Dear Jennifer, Thank you for taking the time to review our property. However, I'd like to clarify some inaccuracies in your statements. We understand that, as a first-time VRBO user, there might have been some confusion. At the time of your booking, our property was available for rental as either a 1BD or a 2BD. Your reservation was made for 1BD for 2 guests, which we communicated to you shortly after your instant booking. Since you were not using the VRBO app or checking your VRBO emails, this information may not have reached you effectively. Additionally, your payment covered a 1BD, and there were no extra charges, no additional night fees, or last-minute charges, as you mentioned. Your 3-night booking was for the 1BD option you initially selected, with no additional fees applied. I would also like to point out that we waived the AC cost as a gesture of goodwill in light of your concerns. Furthermore, our Bella Vista apartment now has two separate listings—one for a 1BD and another for a 2BD. This change should help future guests navigate their options more easily.
