Jardim Botânico is one of the most charming and wooded neighborhoods in Rio de Janeiro. At its top, on a calm and peaceful street, with a guardhouse and 24-hour security, stands this three-story mansion, decorated in such a way as to mix contemporary finishes with light “vintage” touches that integrate perfectly with the exuberant Tijuca Forest and the orchard beside you.

Here, nature invites itself all the time and its guests are frequently visited by wild animals such as native birds, monkeys, etc.

Thanks to its glass doors, the internal environment is very airy and with abundant light. Its upper floor opens onto a delightful terrace with swimming pool, barbecue and a privileged view of the Rodrigo de Freitas lagoon, Corcovado Mountain, Sugarloaf Mountain and the Botanical Garden itself.

The house was planned on the pillars of accessibility and sustainability. The panoramic elevator and the safety bars in the master suite and in the pool shower ensure access for wheelchair users and other people with special needs. Solar panels maintain water heating and energy capture, (there are more than 250 lamps arranged to warmly illuminate their environments). There is also an industrial filter that distributes filtered water through all the faucets in the house.

In its original composition, it has three suites, thus, ideally, it hosts three couples comfortably. But the house also has a TV room with a sofa bed that can be closed and reverted into a fourth suite.
