Nestled in an enviable location, Laura's Tower offers unique views of Paonia and the Grand Mesa, making it the perfect destination for romantic escapes, remote work, and family or group getaways. The spacious two-story house boasts a versatile open floor plan and is designed for ultimate comfort. Well behaved pets enjoy their stays at the Tower and love the decks and balconies. The entire house is yours with private parking.

Upstairs, guests can enjoy the sunny private deck, a king-sized bed, twin sofa couch, a 50-inch HDTV, office desk, and design spaces, as well as a spacious bathroom with an oversized bathtub and shower.

The well-equipped kitchen, located on the lower floor, boasts full range and oven, dishwasher, and Liebherr fridge. The kitchen was renovated in October 2021 with stone countertops and a butcher block island, making it the perfect place to prepare a full celebratory meal. The kitchen window offers a breathtaking view of Paonia and the surrounding mesas, providing the perfect backdrop while you cook and dine. And, with the full professional BBQ grill, you can enjoy a delicious barbecue in the open air on the lower deck.

For your comfort, both bathrooms in the Tower are equipped with in-floor heating, and the small bathroom downstairs also features heated tile floors, a sink, and washer/dryer. The dining area boasts a round antique walnut table with three wooden chairs and two south-facing windows, which provide natural light. The queen sofa sleeper couch is positioned to face the TV on the lower floor, offering a convenient separation between dining and relaxing spaces.

The upstairs open floor plan features a king-sized master bed, twin sleeper sofa, private deck, two work spaces, a 50-inch TV, and a full bathroom with shower and oversized bathtub. Hosted by the same team that brought Kale's Cottage Airbnb to Paonia in 2015, guests can expect top-notch service and amenities.

Guests have access to the entire Tower, parking area, and deck spaces. 

Located on the edge of town, the Tower is surrounded by lush greenery, view corridors and towering trees, creating a haven for both relaxation and birdwatching. This spring, the air is alive with the songs and sights of a variety of feathered friends, including the European Starling, Northern Flicker, House Sparrow, House Finch, Brown-headed Cowbird, Eurasian Collared-Dove, American Crow, Dark-eyed Junco, Mountain Chickadee, Black-capped Chickadee, Black-billed Magpie, Spotted Towhee, American Robin, and American Goldfinch. Whether you’re sipping your morning coffee or enjoying an evening stroll, you’ll be serenaded by birdsong and treated to magical moments that change with the days, weeks, and seasons. Laura's Tower is a truly unique property, offering spectacular views of the river valley and surrounding mountains. During the winter months, passing snow showers on the Grand Mesa can be viewed from the kitchen window, and during the growing season, fruit trees and large cottonwoods offer added privacy and shade.
