The apartment was reserved five months in advance for two guests. Less than 24 hours before check in, guest asked if a third guest could stay and we said no problem. Five (5) guests showed up and ended up staying the entire reservation. We verified with guest in writing immediately following check in, that check in and the accommodations were ok and there were no issues. We also verified during the stay that everything was ok. We try very hard to anticipate and accommodate our guests needs in advance of and during their stay. I wish the guest had mentioned this to us during their stay as it could have been remediated immediately and swiftly. Additionally, the reservation was made for two (2) guests five months in advance and there was significant communication between the parties prior to check in. The apartment is exactly as pictured in the listing. The pictures are very clear. Advance notice of five guests ( we never charged you for the three extra guests) staying could have helped us avoid this. We feel like waiting until after you checked out to mention this was very unfair to us as the host as we were never given the chance to help accommodate your needs even after reaching out to you proactively on several occasions during your stay. All we ask as hosts is that you communicate to us accurately and in a timely fashion what your needs are and if they have changed. We specifically ask if there are any special needs or requests when the reservation is made and non were communicated to us at that point or after several proactive follow ups with the guest during the reservation.
