Diese schöne Wohnung am Strand. Nur 20 Minuten vom Flughafen Cancun entfernt, im Herzen von Puerto Morelos ... das bestgehütete Geheimnis an der Riviera der Maya! Es ist ein malerisches Fischerdorf mit einem charmanten Stadtplatz ... perfekt gelegen zwischen Cancun und Playa del Carmen. Und es hat einen der schönsten weißen Sand- / Türkisstrände der Welt! Die Wohnung ist zu Fuß erreichbar (10 Minuten) zum Stadtplatz und der Spaziergang ist atemberaubend am Strand.

Es gibt verschiedene Restaurants, von denen viele direkt am Strand liegen und in denen das Essen köstlich frisch und zu vernünftigen Preisen ist. Clean accommodation! Comfortable beds! Quiet! Lovely pooll. Directly on the beach and great area to swim, kayak or snorkel. 2 places directly next door to get snacks or drinks. Short walking distance to town for restaurants and groceries. Jackie also was great about answering questions and helping with a couple issues.

Beach lovers paradise

What a wonderful stay! Our first time to Puerto Morelos and it won’t be our last. Relaxing, easy walking, very friendly area. The condo and complex are a 5/5, nothing but praise. Wish we could keep it a secret.

My husband and I were very pleased with our stay. The condo is very nice, and we must say the beds were very comfortable, that is always a plus when on vacation! The location was perfect. Within walking distance to the town center and there is a great beach bar right next door, what more could you ask for! Ms Heather from WA...my sister in-law recommend this great place

Relaxing

Except for people staking claim to beach/pool chairs whether they were in them or coming hours later, I want to stay again. Just wish there was away to get laundry done.

Beautiful condo and location

Casita Blanca is a beautiful, ocean front condo. The view is spectacular and the beach is right out the door. The grounds are tropical and the pool is refreshing and never crowded. Inside the condo, we had everything we needed to relax. We were greeted immediately by the manager, who was helpful and answered all of our questions. When we wanted to stay past check out both he and the owner were very accommodating. The owner answered questions almost immediately. We loved the laid back atmosphere and the beautiful town with terrific restaurants. We have traveled throughout Mexico and will definitely return here again.

Revisiting Puerto Morelos

10 years later we revisited Puerto Morelos with a teen and preteen. This condo could not have been better, loved the layout, 2 bedrooms with their own bathroom. Kids loved the pool, we all really enjoyed the choices of outdoor seating, always really on somewhere in the shade or out in the sun. A quieter part of the beach, but not too far to walk into town. Jackie was really helpful checking us in and with suggestions that improves our experience. Other guests were all from friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Location, location!

We love Casita Blanca! The unit itself can use some upgrades. Living room furniture is very uncomfortable and linens and towels could all use an upgrade. Nice side patio but it would be nice to have a lounge chair and something decorative to take advantage of that added space.

Thank you Cindy first the review. After your review I took a look at the towels and linens on my August trip to the condo and yes in deed it is time for many to be replaced. Also, a new King size mattress was put in the blue bedroom. Got a new toaster and silverware. Found some cute rod iron rockers and table for the patio. A new couch and table / chairs have been ordered. Appreciate the review, sometimes that is how we find out when items need replacing or have gone missing.

Great Condo and Location

We have stayed at Casita Blanca 4 x's before, and were really happy with this condo. Plenty of room for 2 teenagers and the 2 of us. They have renovated the kitchen and baths, so this unit was much nicer than the previous ones we have stayed in. We had a few issues with lack of hot water, water pressure, and iffy aircon in the master, but Roberto had it taken care of in just a few hours. You are tucked back in the corner, so patio area is more private than the other units. You still have a side view of the sea and great views of the grounds. Owner was very sweet and easy to work with. Already thinking of booking for next year!

Clean and a great location

This property had everything we needed: all updated kitchen, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and beach access. We easily walked to town for the action in the evening. The beach right outside the place is great. They even have lounge chairs behind a rope! The pool was clean and nice for my two kids. They had a nice outdoor shower to clean the sand off before coming into the condo. UNICO bar is very close so if you don't want to cook or make drinks, it's like having an onsite hotel restaurant. I like going out to all the cute places for dinner and going to the beautiful, new supermarket for other meals. But it's nice that you can get some tacos and delicious drinks next door easily. On Sunday, UNICO has live music so it was loud. But the rest of the week, the condo complex was calm and peaceful. It's the perfect balance of party and zen.

Economical at great location

This properties best feature was its location. We set up a transfer from the airport through USA transfers (highly recommend) and once at the condo had very easy access to town. The property grounds were very well manicured and maintained. The beach raked daily. Roberto greeted us upon arrival and helped when we asked for toilet paper etc. The condo itself worked well for 2 couples with each of us having space and a bathroom. The kitchen was set up well. The patio a nice place for relaxing. The pool always quiet and clean. The only real complaints i had was the safe didn't work, no cable signal to the bedrooms but most of all, that we went all five days without hot water. I hope that this is fixed before any other renters get there. Town was an easy walk and the cost of food very very reasonable. The only thing i would suggest is to bring plenty of ones and fives and exchange in town. The atm's work but charge fees to use. The most you can withdraw at one time is 3000 pesos (about $150 US) but the machine gives $500 peso increments and many places (including the grocery store) didn't have change. Many places did not take credit cards at all. The town was incredibly peaceful and very safe. We walked back and fourth many times a day and never had any issues.

We were very disappointed and concerned to hear that our guests had no hot water! The water heater has been repaired. We have checked with our guests that are currently staying with us and they have reported they have hot water in the showers, but having problem with hot water in the kitchen. The safe is working, but only with the use of the key until a new keypad can be installed. We take great pride in sharing our home in Puerto Morelos with those wishing to enjoy the great amenities that Casita Blanca has to offer. We hope that Laura and her family and friends will give us another chance to enjoy paradise!

Loved every single thing about this property. Right on the beach. Walk to town on beach or road is 2/3 mi. Taxis easy to grab too. Highly recommend, just not on my week when we definitely plan to return!

Perfect location on the beach!

Jackie's home is just as pictured and described! It's located right on the beach! Jackie is a great hostel! She is very responsive and gave us some helpful suggestions! We really enjoyed this location. We definitely would like to come back. You must check out the restaurant, El Campanario! They have the most delicious empanadas!!

Casita Blanca is located on the beach with lounge chairs. A short walk to downtown and a bars and restaurants on the beach. The house was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Roberto, the property manager was super friendly and helpful! Will definitely come back!

Family Vacation

We stayed as part of a larger family vacation. The property was perfect for our family (2 adults and 2 kids). Right on the ocean with a pool in case the kids wanted a break from the waves. Roberto was always helpful and the cleaning staff was wonderful. Location is perfect, town is walkable but far enough you don’t have the noise.

Perfect place to stay in Puerto Morelos

We loved staying here! It was a nice quiet condo on the beach with a swimming pool. It has two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, living room, full kitchen, and two patios. It was on ground level, which made it very convenient to easily walk out to the pool and beach. I would absolutely recommend this condo!! Jackie contacted us before our stay to tell us about Puerto Morelos and answer any questions we had. There is a big Sargassum problem all along the Yucatan peninsula and in the Caribbean right now. She told us if we didn't wan't to visit because of that, she would gladly refund our money. We decided to visit despite the sargassum. Although it was a major issue on the beach, we still had an amazing time in Puerto Morelos and are so glad we went! Puerto Morelos is an adorable little fishing town and did not feel like a tourist trap. We chose not to visit cancun because it was way too touristy. We visited in July, which was great because it was off season, so there weren't as many tourists visiting. It was pretty dang hot though! We will definitely be back sometime!

Substandard accommodation in a beautiful place

We arrived and the room wasn’t cleaned but were given keys...this can happen and wasn’t a big issue. Then Robert arrived with a plumber to repair one toilet which continued not to work. We had no hot water for 2 days and could not get a response from Robert. We found the water heater and repaired it ourselves. It was advertised on VRBO as “ Newly Renovated” but we can’t imagine what was done beside new window coverings. The bathrooms were dirty and badly rusted sink faucets in one bathroom and the second bathroom had a rusted ceiling threatening to fall. The hallways were so narrow you couldn’t pass someone in the hall and the doors to rooms swung out into the hall which caused accidents when you left the room and someone walked past. Deck chairs were left stacked under the trees and the patio table was dirty and pushed against a wall looking abandoned. There may have been a bbq outside at one time but the tiles were falling off and just a square hole remained with rusted rebar beside the patio. The common area bbq looked like it hadn’t been used in years. The pool was showing its age but our grandchildren enjoyed it very much. The location is great in the fact that this unit was pushed back from the beach and we had no sand flies and was further away from the loud beach bar music at night. The beach was great and the Unico beach bar was a 2 minute walk with great ambiance and food. It was about an 8 block walk to town and lots of great little restaurants. A very safe area and you can easily rent a car for day trips. We enjoyed Puerto Morelos but the description of this accommodation by VRBO was overstated and we felt we were oversold.

It is unfortunate that we did not know until we read the review that our guests had experienced some issues with the condo or that our guests were not happy with there accommodations while staying with us. We do appreciate the feed back from our guests , it gives us the opportunity to work with our property manager to insure our guests have a positive / wonderful experience when staying with us. That being said, the salty air and hard water did take down another water tank and we now have a new one. We will be looking into the bathroom faucets, they are maybe 2 years old, but then we know the water is very corrosive. If by chance our guests read our response we do thank you for your review and we would like a second chance if you ever get back to Puerto Morelos. However, are hands are tied in regard to the hallway to the bedrooms, we can't get a 6 foot wide hallway! Jackie

Beautiful location! Perfect for a quiet vacation!

Loved the beachfront location.

The condo was clean and nicely provisioned. The palapas by the pool and on the beach were wonderful. We purchased a hammock to use on the patio while there. Would definately stay here again.

A Little bit of Paradise

This was my first time in Puerto Morelos and certainly won't be my last. The condo was clean and well stocked for cooking needs. When we went to use the blender, we noticed the base was broken, but still workable to a point. I let Jackie know and it was replaced within a day. Roberto was welcoming and the people we met at the condo complex were so friendly. The only concern was the water pressure, but as I came to discover, it is pretty much the same all over PM. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a stay here as we felt very safe and welcomed! Thank you Jackie and VRBO for making this rookie feel welcomed and my apologies for all the emails (which were answered very promptly).

Want to thank you for letting me know about the blender, unfortunately, things do brake and if my guests do not let me know I can get them replaced or fixed quickly. Then there is that darn water pressure and the hot water! We sure do try our best to keep it working, but we have to remember that these small towns do not have the amenities we have back home. Perfect spot in Puerto Morelos

Our third visit to PM and this is definitely the right condo for us. We stayed a week. It's got cute beach decor and a front and side patio. Bed was comfortable, and kitchen was great so we ate in for almost every meal. Hot water was sporadic but not a big problem for us. Easy walk to a beautiful spot on the beach and a view of the sunrise. Casita Blanca is clean and the landscaping is lovely. We will be back.

Condo is a easy 10 to 15 minute walk into town via the street the condo is on. Or enjoy walking the beach into town. Right next door is the Unico Beach Bar so you do not have to go far for a margarita! Best variety of local restaurants you will ever find! If your up for a bicycle ride, you can rent bikes downtown.
