Wonderful experience

It was comfortable, clean and had everything I needed. Beautiful balcony overlooking the beach. And nice boardwalk to the beach. Couldn’t have asked for anything better!

Fantastic location

The property was as advertised, and the location was fantastic. The bedroom stays pretty warm. The AC doesn't reach that far, but fans are provided. The umbrella and chairs were a great addition as well. We were unable to use the top bunk because there was sand all over it.

My 2 year old kid picked up head lice from the dirty pillows / sheets and we left one day early

We stayed 2 out of 3 nights and left early because we noticed that my 2 year old son started itching his head and found out that his hair was full of lice. We didn’t want to risk all of us getting it, and so we left one night earlier. Upon return home we were forced to shave him bold to get rid of it. Unforgettable trip.

We are sorry your son contracted head lice however, we do not believe he picked it up here. Head lice do no live for more that 48 hours without a host or human. This villa was cleaned and unoccupied for at least 4 days prior to your arrival. Lice are generally picked up from close contact with another person who has them. It does sound miserable but we don't feel like he got them here.

Nice location but needs cleaned and updates

The area is amazing. Beautiful beach and close to everything. Safe area. The condo was very dirty and is in bad need up paint and updates. The bunk beds are only big enough for children 10 and under and there is one window unit AC. The bedroom is super hot bc there is no air conditioning in there. We ended up sleeping on a air bed in the living room because the room is so hot. One tiny love seat. This would be a great condo for just a couple. Still, needs cleaned and painted badly

The distance to the beach was so close and perfect for our family! We could see the ocean from our balcony. We were satisfied with our villa with a few exceptions: 1> The couch felt a bit dirty, so we ended up placing a sheet over it that we brought with us 2> The bathroom sink kept clogging 3> The closet door in the bedroom would not open all of the way because the dresser was in the way. It would have been nice to been able to use the closet, we weren't really able to get use out of it. Other than those things, we would stay there again.

The Condo Cottage

Reviewer Comments: It was a nice place for the price, but I didn't really like how far the walk was from the beach back to the condo when you need to use the restroom, felt like .5 mile (from the secluded spot you found on the beach) and .5 back. Got great exercise! Also, the Master Bedroom being next to the door/hallway isn't as fun as having a view from your bedroom. The air was really only cold in the living room since that's where the a/c unit was. It was difficult keeping the master cooled off. There's only one elevator and it runs super slow, just take the stairs. We sure did for 3 flights every time. These were my only bad thoughts. Overall, it was a fun getaway, the place was clean and nice.

Thank you for your thoughts. Not sure where you set up on the beach, in order to be secluded, but the beach is less than 100 yards from the building and can be viewed from every unit in the complex. There aren't too many places on the island that are going to get you much closer than that. We're glad you had fun and that you found the unit nice and clean. Thanks again,

Nice Condo but just a few details you need to know....

This condo would be perfect for two people. Our group consisted of four adult women on a girls trip. It is on the small side but does offer a full refrigerator, stove, and dish washer. The things you need to know, the bunk beds are for children under 50 lbs, regardless of age. We used the bunk beds for luggage storage, etc. Two women slept in the small bedroom's queen bed and the other two slept on the pull out sofa bed. The AC unit is located in the front of the condo by the door. The back bedroom and bathroom get very hot and humid. We took a box fan and it made it bearable for sleeping and showering. Again, this condo would be ideal for a couple as it is close to the beach and mostly quiet. It is within walking distance to Coligny Park and the rental office where you must check in. The facility has a pool, which was not crowded at most times. The elevators are slow, but if you don't mind the steps, they would be a much better option. The facility offers luggage racks for convenience, which was nice. The condo was clean and the owner has most items you need for convenience, such as hair dryer, curling iron, coffee pot, iron and ironing board, etc. I would recommend this facility to any couple that wanted a beach get away but for a family, I might look for another option.

The unit lacked basic kitchen needs and was not updated. It may sound silly, but there was not ottoman, its nice to have something to sit your food and refreshments on while relaxing. It also sounds silly, but, we had to go and buy toilet paper and trash bags. Yes, theses are all first-world problems, but we love Sea Side Villas.

Close to the beach, to Coligney Plaza Shopping Center, to good restaurants and bars, to bicycle rentals, bike paths with a nice view of the ocean. However it is very small. Small bedroom, bath and living/kitchen area. The hallway bunks would work for small children but they have no safety rail on them. The pullout bed in the living room is the only place to sit other than the wooden dining table chairs. If the bed is in use, it would take up most of the floor space of the living area. Wonderful for two adults or a close group of four adults as there would be very little privacy. (Only one small bathroom.) If you plan on using the bunks, bring your own bed rails for the beds which are very narrow and high off the tiled floor. The kitchen had everything we needed but we did not do much cooking. We (husband and wife) would stay here again as the location was sweet!!!

In serious need of updating

This unit appears to have not been thoroughly cleaned or updated since the beginning. The grout is extremely dirty as are the walls, etc. Some of the items provided are a million years old (pillows, coffee cups and utensils) A little paint and updating would go a long way.

Very disappointing accommodations

Maintenance and upkeep on this unit has been neglected for a while. We had very few kitchen utensils and the appliances were old and in poor working condition. The unit was unclean and roaches were present in the kitchen and living room. We have previously vacationed at other condo units in this complex and were very satisfied with our stay. Very disappointing.

Stay anywhere else

If I could submit pictures of the room to help clear up discrepances with the listing I would, however I will say that this place is dingy and grimy at best. I cannot knock the location as it is right on the beach, however so many other condos within the SeaSide Villas are in such better shape (just look on their website) and the same price. There were scuff marks and unknown splatter substance all over the doors and walls. There was a child's teething ring underneath the air conditioning unit and stray pieces of food under the couch, visible from sitting at the table. You can't open the closet in the bedroom due to the dresser that backs up right to the bed. I would not recommend staying here.

It’s tiny, hot and dingy

I realized it was small from listing but it’s so small you can’t open closet and bedroom doors all the way. It has one window air conditioner and there’s no air that reaches the bedroom or bathroom. We moved after one night. The office at Vacation time was great to work with. I explained to them that the unit was not acceptable. ONLY STAY HERE IF YOU WANT TO SWEAT ALL NIGHT
