Make your way 5 minutes the opposite direction and find yourself at the banks of the serene Smith River, one of the cleanest rivers in the nation with its pristine undamned emerald waters. This river is well known for its seasonal fishing and guides. Towering over the river and surrounding land you'll find the majestic old growth redwoods. Explore the Grove of Titans, and walk among the Largest Redwood Trees in the World. This coastal retreat will be one to remember.

Truly felt like a retreat! This was hands down the cleanest place I’ve stayed in a long time. At first seemed a bit remote, which was welcomed after days exploring. After driving thru town, we were so grateful for making this choice, zero regrets and close proximity to everything with a short drive. We were given excellent recs for the area and got lots of info about what to do while in town. Would recommend without reservation!

Our stay at this beautiful, cozy cottage was just perfect after emerging from the redwood forest tired, dirty and hungry spending several days exploring the forests and beaches of the NorCal coast. This place felt like home except better. Fine modern cottage decor, clean bathroom with powerful shower, huge fluffy bed, fully stocked kitchen, and laundry room too! Angel nailed every detail from the bedside chocolates to the farm fresh eggs in the refrigerator and from the cool sea breeze wafting through the window to the soft chatter of barnyard animals next door. We enjoyed cooking a delicious homemade meal and relaxing while watching a movie before melting into the soft as a cloud bed. In the morning we were delighted to whip up some farm fresh eggs for breakfast (thank you Coco!) before disappearing back into the forest again. I am already looking forward to returning sometime in the near future.

Perfect for our family of 4. We wanted to be in the middle of the Redwood State Parks and this location was perfect! The studio was smartly designed and super clean. Loved the fresh eggs in the fridge, what a great touch Coco!! The bed and bedding was super comfortable. We had everything we needed. Would stay again and hope to in the future!

This VRBO is great. It's a very large studio that is contemporary and has everything you need. We had 4 adults and all were very comfortable. The host is amazing and even provided fresh eggs from their chickens. The location is close to many Red Wood trails and sites as well as good food in Crescent City. We would highly recommend.

Absolutely INCREDIBLE

We cannot say enough about our stay here! From the very beginning, communication was great and we found the location without any issues at all. Upon arriving, the rental unit was extremely clean, light bright and organized. The furniture and decor is lovely.Everything you could possibly need in the kitchen and bathrooms was available. Their sweet daughter even left farm fresh eggs from their property for us to enjoy! Little condiment, spices, seasonings, coffee, creamer, etc. all available as well.The bed was extremely comfortable. I don’t think we’ve slept on a bed that comfortable ever! My twin daughters reported that the pull out couch bed was extremely comfortable as well. All of the bedding, linens, towels- extremely high-quality, soft and lovely.Having laundry accessible was a wonderful perk, and we took advantage of many of the local recommendations given to us. We felt safe the entire time and cannot say enough about our stay. Anyone considering it should absolutely stay here. Thank you so much!

Awesome space!

We loved our stay here! We had everything we needed and loved all the space and large, comfortable bed! The space was very clean. We enjoyed the use of a washer and dryer (w/complimentary detergent). The host was an excellent communicator and responded quickly to our questions and also provided suggestions on things to do in the area. We could've easily stayed here an entire week!

Lovely, cozy studio near Crescent City and Jedediah Park

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here while visiting the redwood parks in Northern California. The apartment was delightful. The furnishings were comfy and attractive and the host had apparently given a lot of thought into the comfort of their guests based on the amenities and personal touches they provided. It was a perfect spot to retreat to after spending the days in the woods. It was quiet and we slept very well. We would definitely stay again on future trips.

We had the best experience staying here during our trip to the Redwoods. The hosts were more than accommodating, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay and more.
