This is a beautiful home and property! Perfect for our long weekend getaway. Easy distance to Highlands, hiking and Franklin. I do recommend getting to the cabin the first time in daylight. Once you know the path it is not hard after dark, but it does help the first time to be able to see the road and driveway. Thank you for sharing your house! It was wonderful!

It was perfect! The sounds from the running stream added much to our rest and relaxation! The proximity of waterfalls in the area was an added bonus! The cabin was "cozy", very clean and well equipped with everything for a wonderful stay!

Small, quaint cabin by a beautiful creek with small waterfall just steps from the back porch. Big on charm and a great neighborhood with several creek access points and a lake. Great location between Franklin and Highlands. The property was furnished well and supplied with anything you need for an extended stay. We will definitely book this location again!

The owners were very friendly and quick to offer info and tips. The screened porch by the creek was so nice. It was very clean and we had everything we needed for great stay. We loved how close it was to waterfall hikes. We will probably stay here again in the future.

Adorable Highlands Cottage

Enjoyed our stay. Matt our host was wonderful to work with and communicated well. Location was close to Highlands and Franklin as well as many points of interest. Place was clean and tidy and had everything we needed. The outdoor space was so relaxing and the Solo stove was a nice touch! Would definitely stay again.

This is such a wonderful property to rent in the Highlands area. The house is adorable and comfortable. There is a good size dining table in the kitchen as well as an outdoor table on the patio that we were able to host family dinners with 10 people easily. The house is well stocked with little things that are useful such as bug spray, ziplock bags, dish soap, etc. Of course, I'm sure the stocked items depend on how much renters use these things. We brought in everything, but it was nice knowing if I forgot a small thing at the grocery, that the house magically provided when I looked.The best part of this house is the creek in the backyard. My family (ages 4 - 8) spent hours playing in the calf-high creek after a day of exploring the area/hiking. We also walked to a near by pond and fished, which is catch and release. Never caught anything but it entertained a 6 & 8 yro. Would definitely rent again!

I loved this stay very peaceful and the river in the back was my favorite thing I could fall asleep listening to the river.i love that there was every kitchen. I don’t know that you could need toaster blender can opener, etc.. I would definitely recommend this cabin and definitely will want to return.
